This store will not get a 1/2 star from me. This is the worse service I have received. I called, wrote complaint letters to store and corporate. Managers are RUDE, (LAURA, DAVID) and majority of them quit!!! They delivered the wrong furniture 3 times, broke my bed and when they brought another one, didn't put it together right. I don't have my pillows, and still waiting for the right color sectional to be delivered...We spent over $3,000 in January and our order is still WRONG!!!! I AM DEMANDING A REFUND, I would rather sleep on my floor. INCOMPETENT WORKERS....I will never BUY at this store again, and suggest others will NOT. I will put them on blast on all SOCIAL MEDIA SITES so BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! The furniture is ok but the customer service is deplorable. When my furniture was delivered part of my order was wrong. The company basically didn't care. When k spoke with customer service the representative told me it wasn't her problem, after asking to speak to her manager 3 times she hung up on me. When I finally spoke to a supervisor she also had the attitude of there was little that could be done. I will not be purchasing furniture from them in the future! read more

Worst experience I've ever had buying furniture. We've bought our home furniture here for years, and I will never be back due to my newest experience. I'm not sure what has happened, but everything about this place has gone downhill. We bought furniture (bedroom), and we were told it would be delivered in may- which was perfect since I'm having a baby in august, so that would give us plenty of time to get settled. We went to check in on everything because the guy (Julius) told us to text him when we were about 3 days out from needing it delivered... so I texted.... And he never answered. When we went into this location, we were told that we have a tentative date of delivery in June... but possibly July, but then She mentioned august... Which is after my due date. She also told us that they had tried to contact me, which is incorrect, and that the order wasn't placed until 2 weeks after we purchased $10,000+ of furniture. These people are liars and will say anything to get you to spend money. Hopefully, we'll have furniture before our baby gets here, but it's not looking promising. Save yourself the frustration of dealing with these people and go ANYWHERE else. read more

Horrible! horrible experience you guys have seriously got to get your sh*T together! We purchased furniture at the beginning of October we bought 4 bedroom sets and a complete living room set and was told we would have it all in three weeks. Which we were pretty disappointed to have to wait 3 weeks to begin with we were thinking more like a week anyway we wait the three weeks just to get 1 piece of our sectional couch we ordered and 2 bedroom sets!! we call to see what happened they didn't schedule the rest of the order and sorry mam but you have to wait another 3 weeks! we waited another three weeks and today they only delivered the rest of our couch!! 2 of my kids still don't have there bedroom sets their excuse/reason behind this is I didn't confirm the delivery???? So how did I get the 2 pieces of the couch today ???? we paid for our part and now I have to figure out someone to bring me my furniture at my expense after waiting two months and being promised it would all be here on the 21st after the first time they didn't bring it lol because they wouldn't go back and get it for us after waiting 2 months!!!!!! the furniture they didn't bring is literally sitting at the Cordova location 20 minutes from my house and we paid for delivery and set up as many bad reviews you have on delivery and customer service it seems like you would fix this issue if it takes three weeks to get someone to deliver 20 minutes away you need more drivers this is a joke my daughter is having a slumber party this Saturday and after 2 months still no furniture we will be getting our money back!!!!!!! I've had my couch for only 3 months and I've already had 2 repairs (one from them delivering it with an issue and the second all the springs in one section completely sprung). Trying to place a service request is extremely difficult and it takes weeks to receive an appointment. I expected better quality for what I paid for this couch. read more

Ashley Furniture is the worst company to ever do business with. i ordered a bed and nightstand set, they hired a third party vendor to deliver my products. The party delivered my stuff damaged. when they delivered it, i im called and complained about the service and products. aft going back and forth with them for weeks, they finally set it up for exchange. The exchange was supposed to happen in November 2021. When November came, the had pushed the order to February. I kept calling to check on why the order is was held up. In February 2022 I still did not get the nightstand but they finally delivered the bed headboard and footboard. They took the night stands from the house from the original order that was damaged and did not deliver the replacement night stands. They didn't say that the nightstands were scheduled to come in July which is almost a year from the exact date of when i purchased the original. The sad part was No one in the store took ownership of the process any inconvenience that has come along with this. The manager stood right in my face saw i was frustrated and deferred it to a salesman. Ithis by if I has been the worst experience I have ever had with Ashley furniture and the way they treated me as a customer was ridiculous. no one ever took ownership of the process. read more

It started out what might of been a good experience, then "AFTER" the sale was completed and papers signed, It all went down hill from there. The "after the sale" service is the WORST! When our mattress set showed up, it was already damaged! it had a tire track running across it like someone ran over it with a fork lift at the warehouse. Yes, they replaced it with another mattress, which appeared to be in good shape, however, after the so called 30 day sleep trial, it was the worst bed ever! and of course by the time we could get a hold of anyone at Ashley to have it returned, you guessed it! the 30 day warranty trail was over! so we are stuck with a bed that is very sub standard. Also, after reading the warranty on the mattress it self, it specifically says that if "the bed frame does not have 5 slats" to hold the mattress in the bed frame, the mattress warranty is "void" and Ashley did not tell us that, in fact they didn't even know of that little glitch in the system, therefore they did not honor anything regarding the mattress. Also, the mattress we went with was a Sterns and Foster, supposedly the top of the line model, what a mistake that was. Again, Ashley's warehouse must be loaded with factory rejects from these bed makers in order for them (Ashley) to sell them at such low prices. Recommendation, DO NOT get trapped in the "Sale" at Ashley. The products they sell are just O.K., but more importantly, you will NEVER get any service after the sale is complete. If I could give this Ashley furniture store a -0 rating I would. This store is filled with a bunch of crooks. I bought and mattress and adjustable base from them. At first they said the mattress was on back order and won't be available until August but the adjustable base was going to be delivered the following Wednesday. We said ok that was fine. When Wednesday came around we didn't receive our adjustable base as promised. Tried calling the store but no one answers the phone. Finally got someone on the phone they told us tht the base was coming another week and we waited and still no base. We went up to the store to get a refund for our entire order and the manager named Chuck told us not to not to worry that the mattress and base was in the warehouse and will be delivered to us in a few days. He lied! Everything was on back order. When we returned to get our refund they charged us for restocking fees for items that wasn't even stocked in their store. So we left with no furniture and them getting 130. I will never buy anything from this Ashley's on Germantown pkwy or any Ashley's store ever again. They suck! read more

Called earlier in the day. Woman said they had the kitchen table on display I was looking for. Showed up to look at it and it wasn't on display. Once the woman figured out we wanted something online to be ordered she was gone. Said she didn't mess with those kinds of things because she wouldn't make a commission. But maybe someone else would in the store would do it for us. Website says they will price match amazon and they will once you send them all the info and it takes customer service a while to respond. No phone number. Just email. Waste of time. Very bad customer service all around. Amazon has great customer service and great prices. Don't waste your time just buy it off amazon. read more

The experience in the store was wonderful....unfortunately the delivery system and service is terrible . Apparently it's all computer controlled so they cannot work with you to set up time and date that works for you ...and to top it off they have 3hr delivery window and after you have had to adjust your life to the mercy of whatever time and date the computer spits out they are still late...not slightly late another 3hrs late hope u ready...and they answer at the service center is there is nothing they can do about that. I purchased a chair and ottoman($1000) and a 5 year warranty from GBS enterprises ($350) from Ashley Home Store in September 2015. The springs are literally protruding out of the seat cushion making it impossible to even sit in the chair. You can even see the springs coming through the seat. They go up your bottom if you sit in the chair. The ottomans fabric is coming unraveled. I Called GBS Enterprises to file a claim and after a very long time on hold I was told that my warranty doesn't cover any of that and that Ashley won't cover it either because is has been over a year. So what was the point in purchasing a FIVE year warranty? Total scam betweeen GBS and Ashley! Paid $350 for warranty thats a complete waste. read more

Very disappointing experience with Ashley Furniture Store. I purchased bookshelves and an entertainment stand in Mid-August. The shelves were out of stock and I was given a delivery date of 1 October, a month and a half later. I liked the shelves so agreed to wait. One day before delivery, I received a phone call from the delivery company. They said the bookshelves were out of stock and I would now have to wait until mid-November! I cancelled the order. Let me start this off by saying the first thing that will make me turn on my heel and walk out of a store is a salesman that feels the need to breathe down my neck as I'm shopping around. Needless to say, that didn't happen here and I was so glad! On Memorial Day weekend, we worked with Ishmael to find a sofa. He introduced himself, could see that I was interested in wandering the store for awhile, and checked on us periodically to make sure everything was fine until we were ready to buy. And buy, I did. He worked with us to give us a great deal and was ready to answer any questions we had. I enjoyed my experience so much that I went back this last weekend to purchase a recliner. I am very disappointed with this store and the person who assisted my wife and I back in June 2017. We had ordered a kitchen dinning room set with 6 chairs and 5 matching counter stools. We were told that due to the amount of chairs and stools, that our order would be shipped in the middle of August, 2017, so we gave them a chance. Once the date came, no one called on due date to let us know what was going on. A few days later, I received a call from the sales person telling us that the date was changed. We then went into the store to see what was holding up the order, which they were still unsure. However, once we started talking about canceling the order, we were given a September 15, 2017 date (another month). Today September 13, 2017, I received a call from someone at Ashley's store that the order was delayed again and a date was not set. This is very poor customer service with the store team and sales rep that never kept us abreast of what was going on. We had to hear it from other people within this store. I will never shop at this location again. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had buying furniture. This is suppose to be a super furniture store. read more

Aweful experience ! Couch was not the same as in the showroom. The manager is a liar and kept lying saying he will fix it! One month later and nothing is done. He said he would "call me right back "5 times ! I had to call him back each time after waiting hours !Customer service says they will send supplies to fix on my living room , which is weird, but never showed up! Bottom Line... DONT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! Just an update. I bought the couch in June, and it's October. They have delivered 4 couches to my house.. each one was defective! I talked to a lady in customer service that said "If this couch isn't right, I don't think they can get it right. A repairman is coming to repair the back of it because there is a screw sticking out of it and half of the couch is missing stuffing. Customer service lady no longer works there or isn't answering my calls. The only thing Ashley will do for me is give me the delivery charge back which I haven't seen yet! Oh my gosh, they are the WORST. I had been warned, but had no idea just how bad their customer service is. They won't actually address the issues. They are rude. Even the manager is SO rude. And they are all incompetent. How hard can it be to order a couch?? Apparently pretty difficult with this company. I've been trying to order a sofa for 2 weeks and something is wrong on their end (they charged me for 5 couches and it took them a week to take them off) and they still won't fix the issue and just give me one couch. I ordered a sectional sofa 3 weeks ago only to be informed 4 days before the schedule delivery date that it will be an additional 2 weeks. For my trouble, I was offered a $150 gift card to Ashley Furniture. Wait, let me get this straight, I can't get the sofa I ordered and they want me to buy more furniture from them? After speaking with an Ashley representative, my understanding is that I will be lucky if I get my furniture by the new delivery date. There is no quality control. Everything that could go wrong did. After you sign the contract, good luck. They have the worst customer service of anyone I have ever dealt with. First, they tried to deliver the furniture to the wrong address. The delivery person said, "Can't we just leave it and you pay the movers to move it?" Then they rescheduled it for the next week. The next week, they deliver the mattress without the bedroom suite. I call again. They schedule it for next week. They delivered the bedroom suite this past Wednesday. It has chips all over it and the chips are marked in brown magic marker to be fixed. I call again! They tell me I have to take pictures and email them in. I bought brand new furniture and they delivered defective furniture. So for the 4th time, they are suppose to come get this bedroom suite and bring me another one Next week. I have yet to have a manager call me. I am not sure how they stay in business. read more

We purchased over $10K in furniture from Ashley's in Memphis on Germantown Pkwy in late May 2018. It's now the first of Sept. & we are still waiting on our sofa. Each month they call & postpone the delivery saying it's not available. But they say it will be available in a week. They've done this three times now. The store in Memphis was no help. I was told they were calling the manufacturer & the warehouse, but the issue was never resolved even after I was told it was & that we would definitely get our sofa on Sept. 1st. I finally cancelled by order & will demand my money back. We also had other problems with the same order & instead of chairs being delivered like we were told, we had to make arrangements to pick them up ourselves. Went to Ashley's just to browse around and see what they had out here in TN. The funniest/cutest things I saw in there were the plastic spills on the furniture which was a great Segway for a floor salesperson to introduce their 5 year warranty. RICKY MCGAWAN* helped me out and he was such a breath of fresh air. He gave me so many tips and encouragement as I am new to TN. If I could give Zero stars I would. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY OR STASH! They are owned by the same family and the Customer service is awful from both. 3 years ago, I purchased a bed from Stash that broke. It took 9 MONTHS to resolve this which finally ended up with them refunding my money for the bed only (even though it was part of a set) The check itself took 6 weeks to get to me. Through this mess, I found that the same family owns all the local Ashley stores, so I have also avoided Ashley, but my daughter HAD to have a dresser she found there and I decided to give them a try. BIG MISTAKE! The company doesn't care about customer service at all. The original delivery was scheduled but they wouldn't give a time window until 6pm the day before. The time window wasn't good for me with that little notice so instead of scheduling a new delivery at that time, they told me I would have to call them in 3 days to reschedule. When I called to reschedule, they never showed up, so when I called to check they told me it was never scheduled for delivery and the next available delivery date was in 2 weeks. The sales person ended up having to find someone on her own to deliver it to me and I had to pay them cash on site. First of all...why do I have to call in 3 days?!?!?....Customer service 101 is for them to schedule this for me at that time and having a system in place that won't allow this is ridiculous. 2nd of all...the representative on the phone all 3 times was very rude! This whole family needs to invest in a Customer Service class for all employees and re-evaluate their policies. read more

I have spent thousands of dollars at Ashley furniture over the years!!! I have a couch that I bought 4 years ago that the frame is broken!!! They are refusing to honor their lifetime limited warranty that is posted online and the extended warranty that I purchased does not cover the frame!!! I will NEVER purchase furniture from them again and if you are thinking about using them I'd say FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!! Ashley Furniture is a FRAUD and will not stand behind their products!!! Second terrible experience in a row. The first was a few years ago (2015) when I bought a bedroom set and they only delivered half of it. The driver promised he would drop the remaining pieces the next day. I took a second day off to be home for it and they never showed or called. When I called customer service they apologized and offered monetary compensation. They never delivered on that either. Three years later we tried again. Scheduled for a Friday delivery. They sent two separate reminders with confirmations. They never showed, they never called. We had to call them at the end of the day. They said there were some pieces missing, so they will deliver the following Wednesday. Called customer service and all they could say was "sorry". I said I wanted a Saturday delivery. They said they load the trucks the day before, so it is too late to get a Saturday delivery. So they knew the day before that they weren't going to deliver on Friday, and still didn't bother to call. I advise to stay clear of this chain. read more

I contacted their warranty department in October 2016 considering we purchased a five year warranty. Needless to say, it's December 2017 and nothing has been done. After months of calling and emailing, they told me I have to start a new claim because the lady I've been dealing with no longer works there. That's got to be a joke! Worst customer service I've encountered. It took three different delivery re-schedules (3 days taken off work) over the course of 7 weeks to only receive 1 piece of a 4-piece sectional. When this one piece was delivered, it arrived at 9pm when the delivery window was 3-6pm. I called the store for updates as 6pm got closer and no one was able to give me any details about the delivery. I called the store the next day to figure out what was going on. They said it will take 48 hours to figure out what happened and I will receive a call. Trying to cool down I let this run its course and waited for a call that never came. Once again I had to initiate contact and relay the situation again. I was told that not only was the wrong furniture loaded onto the truck, it was also ordered wrong meaning I would have to wait another 4 weeks for delivery. There's was no indication of remorse, just a "hey there's nothing I can do other than offer some crumby compensation". No thank you. I will take my business else where. read more

I love Ashley furniture. That is why I went and bought several pieces; a bar, 2 stools, a reclining (powered) sofa and 2 occasional table sets when I bought my new house January, 2013. It was delivered the last week of Feb. Sort of. They brought the non-powered version of the couch instead of the powered. I called customer svc and they said to keep that one until the replacement could be delivered. Today is March 19th and I finally have the correct couch. They also delivered the bar with the top off to be assembled at my house. In the process of attaching the top they cracked it. Didn't tell me they did, I had to discover it on my own later that evening. I called cust svc and they said they would have to send out a technician to check it out, earliest available appointment 3/8. Fine. The tech comes out, a nice, personable man, and says you're right it's cracked, we'll have to order a new one. The middle of the following week, my husband has a message on his cell to call cust svc regarding follow up to the technician's visit. I call back and tell the lady who answered what the message said and she attempted to schedule a technician visit for me. I said, "No. The technician has already been here... Repeated message we had received" After several minutes on hold she said that there was information and we had to wait for the service center to send over the report. Fine. Then I asked about the replacement couch. It was scheduled to arrive the next day. A few days later I get a call to finally set up delivery of the correct couch. Of course, they called my husband first, even though we had several times asked them to call me first,. And the 4th time in a row they confirmed that the delivery was going to our old address and the 4th time in a row I had to tell them my new address. So today is March19, roughly 2 months after I ordered my furniture and 11 days after the tech said a new bar top would be ordered. I called the store manager. Short story and 3 phone calls later, no replacement bar top appears to have been oredered and it will be 7-14 days before it comes in. I'm sure I will get a call in a couplle weeks to set up a delivery and will have to again tell them the correct addres. Maybe by mid April I will finally have my completed order. read more

Beware, Ashley will not refund in a timely manner and as of today do not know if they will refund us. We purchased a cheap eating area table and chairs to use while our children were young. It looked nice even though it is of cheap quality our plans were to toss it when the children were old enough to know not to beat up the furniture. On 12/08/2016 we were told by Scot Lancaster they were out of stock and would not have in stock until the end of January but his manager would verify with the manufacturer on Monday 12/12/16 and if it was any later they would gladly refund all our money $1,403.79. When they verified the delivery date it had now moved out to the end of February which was not acceptable. We went back to Ashley on 12/14/16 and were issued a refund request and assumed we were all finished until we received our credit card bill and the charge is still on our card. I called and spoke with Kierra and was informed the order was canceled on 12/14/16 but they just haven't refunded our money and she was going to submit it again but it would take at least 7-10 days. So Ashley Furniture Home Store pulled their money out on 12/09/16 and here we are 23 days since we requested a refund and now 7-10 more days and if our refund is not on complete then we call back and it will take another 7-10 days. What a scam store. If your gonna do business be honest and do what you say. I am not blaming Scot Lancaster the salesman as he was very helpful but I do blame the store manager, accounting and corporate. The store manager (Debra Stansberry) is always conveniently unavailable to speak with. We also tried corporate Dufresne Spencer Group and received the corporate runaround to contact the store. Feel free to contact me as I have all the documents to back up my claims. We will not affect Ashley's business but we and our family and friends will choose not to do business with Ashley. read more

Went in the Cordova store today to purchase items that I saw online. Had a salesperson that was not up to part with his computer skills. Had to keep repeating info over and over. The delivery fees are too high with the amount of purchase that I spent. Thought I could get furniture for Thanksgiving but can't what a bumber... I bought a new bed for my son and it's on backorder! I was not informed of this when I bought the furniture. They offered to exchange it for one in stock but it wasn't the model we wanted and it wouldn't look right in his bedroom. Now we have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for it to arrive in stock. Buying furniture and then not receiving it is not right. I should have gone to Haverty's instead. read more
