Came in today to look at and buy mattress and we worked with sales rep Ali Assadi and he was Amazing. He was able to find the perfect mattress that best fit me and my spouse. He also was able to not only price match but throw in some additional discounts including $250 pillows that he was able to discount and warranty. We truly appreciate this awesome customer services . He got us in out with in 30 minutes and was able to explain in detail what we are getting. Ordered dining room set, living room tables, couch and ottoman, spent 5k, on March 2, 2021, we were told delivery would take approx 6-8 weeks, since then delivery has been pushed to some time in June the couch and ottoman, the rest of the stuff had several different dates, chairs and tables had different dates, etc., we were scammed on delivery, we're not even sure we're getting our couch in June as the dates keep getting extended, if you don't mind waiting 4 months for your furniture, shop at Ashleys, I think they knew all along about extended time, we may still cancel, the sales person will then get charged back hey commission, they deserve it. I will start by saying our sales person Phillip was beyond excellent. However, Ashley furniture does not do right by their sales people as they provided him a date that our furniture would be ready for pickup (6 weeks from the date we ordered it and it was not a special item order). We received no communication from anyone within the six week period. I called the morning we were told to come pick up to see what time we were supposed to come pick up and I was told that only one piece was there but still couldn't pick up even the one piece because I didn't have an appointment time. Meanwhile, I planned my entire holiday gathering around the fact I was told all my living room furniture was available for pick up before thanksgiving 6 weeks prior when I placed the order. I called Phillip and he said he spoke to the regional Vice President yet that Vice President never contacted me directly and there was no resolution to having my whole furniture order before the holiday. I went to Mathis brothers Ontario upon receiving this news and left with an entire living room set that far exceeded the quality of Ashley and took it home the very same day no hassle, no questions asked, no wait time. When I cancelled my order with Ashley in-person,in the store that day, they provided me a claim number and said I needed to call a different number 2 days later to request my refund as they don't do refunds in the store (keep in mind, I paid cash for my entire order!) This is beyond the worst experience I have ever had as a consumer. I have 3 bedrooms to furnish as well as a quarter of an acre outdoor space and will be getting all my furniture needs both indoors and outdoors from Mathis Bros Ontario. This is a shame for the salespeople of Ashley as they work hard but the operations team can't even communicate a simple delay within a 6 week time frame nor deliver on their promised pick up date. And as for the regional Vice President knowing about this issue and never reaching out, I am speechless. This is a corporation I will never support and ensure all the neighbors in my new neighborhood needing furniture for these new construction homes stay far away from any Ashley furniture store and/or Ashley furniture product! Worst service!!! We quickly realized we got the wrong size bed and immediately submitted a claim to return it. We let the customer service rep know that we wanted to return it to purchase an even bigger bed. Everything was still in box, literally nothing was touched. Well they made us wait almost a week later just so the store manager can call us and say it was denied and we would have to still pay for the original bed. I explained to him that when we bought the bed we were told they accepted returns. Well we were lied to. Store manager didn't help at all. He said there was no one else I could talk to above him. Absolutely no help! Never going back and will definitely tell all my friends and family to stay away from this fraudulent place. You might as well buy from OfferUp or swap meet if you won't be able to make returns or get any customer support. Terrible!!! read more

Don't shop here! Your better off elsewhere. Sales person will lie to you about your delivery date. I get my furniture deliver however it was incomplete, I ask the delivery guy we're is the rest of my stuff at he said it was in back order. I wish someone would of shared this information with me. So I can be aware on what is going on. Second the deliver man installed my bedroom set and he hit my window frame with my new furniture, damaging my window and furniture without letting me now. Does anyone answer the phone here? Called enough times to have a restraining order placed on me, and yet, no one picked up.

This is the first of a play by play for ASHLEY FURNITURE. Went in-store after deciding what I wanted online. The salesman, who I won't mention because he was very nice and helpful and this is no reflection on him. They have changed.the delivery time twice and have the nerve to robo-call saying delivery time cannot be changed!! Here's the thing I have tried to call the store a total of 12 times now..TWELVE times between 10-9 (their listed store hours)No answer TWELVE times. Mind you I started this in plenty of time for them to handle my issue, which is simply that I want it to be Scotchguarded prior to delivery. At this post I texted the nice salesman (on his day off) and told him in hopes he might have a solution. To be continued. Continuation... The nice salesman, the only reason I would consider going back, texted me back on HIS DAY OFF, just to let me know that Ashley's no longer Scotchguards their furniture. Hum....? Wonder why? I called the corporate office to find out. The sweet but obvi very new girl, had to put me on hold twice to find out the answers...said they no longer Scotchguard their furniture. I knew that...I asked why? She said it was a corporate decision. Hum...? And if I chose to do it myself, it would invalidate their warranty. So we don't use it...and you better not. read more

I purchased a tempurpedic and living room couch set about a month ago. When my fiancé and I came in we were greeted by a saleswoman who asked to show us around the store. She showed us a few things and was subtly following us around when I asked for some time to look around. During this process she slightly insulted us and questioned our choices (not good sales tactics by any means). When we made our way to the back of the store and mattress section we found our saving graces: Rodney Francois! He is by far the best salesmen with whom I have ever interfaced: kind, courteous, patient, and helpful (not to mention "not pushy"). That night he answered all of our questions about buying a good mattress, spoke from experience, and tried to give us genuine help. We left that night without purchasing (knowing we'd be back) but were promised several good deals about the bed, a frame, and a couch. We came back a couple weeks later as promised and had an appointment with Rodney. We picked our mattress without issue , but when it came time to choose the "free" bed frame , he was nothing but patient as my fiancé wavered on what she wanted. He then worked it out with his manager to secure us a similar deal where we received the bed, sectional and love seat for an amazing deal. Then in the weeks ahead, while we had different delivery dates for the purchases, he was nothing but helpful as we worked out over text when things would arrive. Both deliveries were on time, in tact, and the two teams that delivered were friendly and did what they needed to do. Throughout this month long process Rodney would touch bases and ask how things were going and if he could be of any assistance. My experience was as great as it was because of Rodney. If you are looking to buy from this location, do yourself a favor and connect with Rodney Francois. You will not be disappointed. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Delivered two out of three pieces of my couch and it's been a month and a half I've been waiting for the 3rd piece. They still don't know when they will be sending me the third and refuse to help or give anything for the trouble. I went to Ashley on Memorial Day weekend to look for a new sectional. I was greeted by Linda Lacy, and she was so wonderful in helping us find exactly what we wanted. She was so courteous to give us our space and time to look, but when we needed help, she was there. She was able to get us a great price on a beautiful sectional. I actually came back the very next day, asked for Linda, and bought additional furniture and a new mattress. I have to add that Ashley delivered as promised, on time! The 2 delivery guys were great and set everything up, and disposed of all of the packing materials. Overall, it was a great experience. I bought a recliner in 2019. I called because it no longer operates correctly in January. A technician finally came out mid February only to tell me it needed a part and I would be contacted. After weeks of no contact I called again. I have now spent over 5 hours and 8 calls with Ashley furniture 'customer service'. The 'customer service' department has refused to provide a contact number for a supervisor. I am now told they are going to order a part that will not ship for weeks. When it shows up I then have to call back (my average hold just to talk to someone is half an hour) and I need to set up a service call myself. Buyer beware. What a great way to spend my Sunday!!! Came in with my dad looking for a few sofas and bed sets for our new home. Adam was assisting us with all our needs & he was pleasure to work with!!! He was super attentive and really made my dad feel welcomed and listened too!! He addressed all my dads concerns & showed him everything he was describing he wanted. I hate this place. Literally every time I come here they are crooks. I don't leave many bad reviews, but I've had enough bad experiences that i must review. They tricked me when I bought my mattress, overcharged me, have me gift cards to "use anytime." Then, when I come back to use them today, they can't give me the promotional price because of the gift cards which they don't want to apply to a good deal. You can only use them on their overpriced items. Don't pay full price for anything here. Trust me, all overpriced and plenty of wiggle room, I'd recommend not buying from them. Don't shop here! This would have been a great review because the sales person answered all of my questions and was very accommodating with the time it was taking me to make up my mind. Unfortunately this is a NEGATIVE review because the sales person led me to believe the future I wanted was actually available. We scheduled my delivery date and I left happy. I received a delivery confirmation call and text. I emptied my place so the old furniture would not be in the way. As the day approached I noticed they never gave me a delivery window like other companies had. So I called to get in touch with the delivery center and they said I was NOT scheduled for delivery because what I paid for was on back order. Now I wasted a day off work, have no furniture in the meantime and had to cancel plans to have guests over for dinner. There is no where to sit!! Now I need to take more time off work for a new delivery date. And to make matters worse, NO ONE answers their phones! I spoke to corporate about the situation and they said I must speak to he store. I've been calling at all different times of days with no answer for 4 days now. Someone finally picked up today but left me on hold for 30 minutes and then hung up me! No exaggeration. I have the screen capture to prove it. This store is insanely unprofessional and unorganized. Buy your future somewhere else is you don't want a headache added to what naturally comes with furniture shopping. If I could give less than 1 stars I would. This has been the WORST experience I have EVER had with any business. I'm honestly shocked they're even able to stay in business. I received countless empty promises from their management team, confirming delivery dates just to get recorded phone calls the next day stating all of a sudden my couch was back ordered or for reasons beyond their control they're delaying our delivery two more weeks. I've been hung up on by their customer service team, put on hold for upwards of 45 minutes with absolutely no response from anyone and given different information every single time I call. In fact, I wrote this entire review while sitting in silence on hold for nearly an hour before hanging up and calling back, just to be put on hold for ANOTHER 10 minutes. Someone tells me it's back ordered, another tells me they spoke with the warehouse and it will be delivered this week, then I'm told they haven't set up a delivery date at all. When I finally get fed up and tell them to cancel my order and refund my money I'm told "go down to the store and cancel it if you want to." Seriously?! So now I have to waste more of my time and gas money to drive 25 minutes each way to their store because again, they refuse to help get this resolved. It's shocking that a company this large could lack basic interdepartmental communication and efficiency. Meanwhile, I have half of a sectional in my living room, ANOTHER entire day wasted of trying to get information and updates (this is going on a full week of back and forth with them), and still have no idea where the rest of my $1000 couch is or when it will be delivered to my home. I'd give a 0 star if that was possible. I've been waiting to months now for a bed frame I ordered PRIOR TO their huge Labor Day sale. They told me that it was on back order upon ordering it, but I didn't anticipate waiting two months. In addition they have scheduled & postponed the delivery 3 times saying it will be in then it doesn't show up. Their hold music (they never answer the phone) talks about how they manufacture their own products, so I find mind boggling that they can't manufacture ma bed frame in two months. I was not happy at all they sold me a sectional that was shedding debris. First of all the salesman had me pick a color out from a book and the color was totally a different shade when I got it. Do NOT buy any children's furniture here!!! In the recent months I spent quite a bit on a new BEDROOM SET for my girls . A few weeks in the bed frame cracked on my oldest bed, she's 12 . While still paying off the furniture , I called and reported the frame, thinking they would take care of it, especially since it was still under warranty. I was told that the frame could not be replaced or repaired because of the way it broke and nothing else could or would be done. Since then screws have come loose from the dressers and it has only been a few months!!! Ashley definitely lost me as a customer !!! My review is for my experience with John Sawyer. We haven't finished moving so our furniture has not arrived yet. When I first was there the sales guy assigned to me was super annoying. He kept following me around. My husband and I we're starving so we got food at the cafe. We could hear the sales guys right next to us talking about stealing customers and how much bonuses they got. It was super tacky. Then we saw a couch we liked but wanted to see it with a different table. The sales guy we were assigned to said he can't move it. At that point I was done. I turned around and headed to the door quickly. Then John approached me and he was awesome. He moved heavy tables all around the store so I could see sets together. The set I wanted had a 14 piece deal where you get a rug, picture frames, lamps and a bunch of other stuff for an extra $100. Of course, I didn't like the ones that came with the set so John took me all over and helped me switch to items I did like. He knew exactly what could be traded our. He must have worked there a long time because he really knows the store well. He doesn't have to go asking people questions he just knows. After his help everything went so smoothly! He saved our sale because I was so over that store until he came around. Now I will recommend it, but ONLY if you get him! read more
