    Horrible customer experience, Ashley has lost me and my family as customers. I purchased a sofa/chair/ottoman set a couple years ago. The chair was defectively put together by Ashley, but I didn't realize this until outside of the 1 year warranty window because I don't generally flip furniture over and inspect the feet if "professionally" installed. If you buy anything here that comes assembled for you recommend you diligently inspect how the tech put it together. Because it was defective one foot broke and a wood support beam also broke. I was aware they might turn me down for any assistance due to the 1 year warranty, but went into the store and was told a ticket was submitted and I should respond to the email with my pictures (I'll add I was upfront about the time period and they were able to look up the purchase date, so Ashley was well informed this was related to damage after the 1 year period). I sent my pictures depicting the shoddy work and missing piece on the one foot for my chair and the next day I was called (left a detailed voicemail) and emailed the following: "Upon further review of the photos we have received, our professional furniture technicians can bring this product back up to manufacturing standards, at no cost to you." Then I was instructed to select a date for the repair, which I did. The day of my repair no one shows up, so by the afternoon I call to inquire and I am told that because it is outside of the 1 year warranty they cannot do anything. This was not news as I told the store employee this when she submitted the ticket. I was also rushed off the phone with a vague promise the person who answered would look into it and email me. I got an email within minutes just repeating the same thing with no further explanation. I called the Brandon Ashley store and started explaining the situation to a rep, but the rep either muted me or walked away from the phone and I had to hang up. This is probably their tactic, if someone complains ignore and ice them out until they get too frustrated to do anything further and give up. I've never experienced such atrocious customer service. My recommendation to Ashley is don't tell people one thing then change up on them without any sort of respect or consideration. I intended to buy a second chair and footsool before we realized the defect, because my family genuinely likes it, but this has completely turned us off from purchasing anything ever again from Ashley. Hope this prevents people from purchasing defective items or dealing with Ashley's horrific customer service in the future. I'm attaching pictures of the email exchange and chair damage for reference. The chair/sofa/footstool set is called the "Maimz" Lovely set, but for the defective chair. Now I have a chair that I need to either trash or remove all feet and have on floor level.

    Spent $1,000.00's at their store and received the customer service of a Dollar Store. Their salespeople have no training in sales, customer service or communication. Received a cryptic message from a "Casy" wanting to know if I had received my merchandise. She goes on to say, "ok, so give me a call back and hope to hear from you soon". NO phone number, no way to know how to reach this woman!

    We recently purchased the matching couch and love seat that paired with the patio table we bought 2 years ago. Once the furniture was delivered we realized how much the table and chairs had faded and turned the color green. We asked to return the furniture within 48 hours and was denied because it was not an online purchase. Knowing this new furniture would turn geeen in 2 years we contacted customer service asking them to please let us return it and could they replace our table. Nothing was done but we received an apology via email and in addition this patio furniture is kept in a covered patio area. We will no longer be using Ashley Furniture or referring its furniture to friends and family.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. Extremely dissatisfied and so frustrated with their poor customer service. I ordered a bed frame from there via phone with one of their reps on November 13th. The only reason I ordered through them over the phone was to inquire about the delivery dates. I completed the order and it came in within 2 days instead of 5 weeks. I receive the bed and within 24 hours I call and ask to exchange the bed as the quality was horrible. The bed is not sturdy and wobbles with every move. I get told that someone will call or email me within 72 hours. A week goes by, NO RESPONSE. I go in person to one of the stores and a sales rep explains to me that the bed I purchased was one of their lesser quality items. I follow up with customer service in person and they apologize for the lack of outreach and tell me my claim was denied due to me purchasing in person. I explain I purchased over the phone and that the bed frame is not sturdy and is poor quality. They tell me they will update my ticket and contact within 48 hours. Again, NO RESPONSE. I call back the following week and customer service schedules a technician to come out and evaluate the bed. I explain the bed is not damaged but the quality is poor and we are dissatisfied with the craftsmanship. Almost every piece of furniture I own is Ashley and I have never had this experience. She explains this is a part of their process and he will come out to evaluate the bed. The gentleman comes over on a Tuesday, determines the same thing I've been saying from the beginning. The bed is wobbly and not sturdy. It has no damages or defects. He tells us he will recommend a new selection and we will hear from customer care again within 48 hours. Again, No RESPONSE. I email by Friday, no response! I call on Monday. Get told about the policy again for no returns on in person purchases. I explain for the 4th time I never purchased this bed in store. I was emailed a link to pay after calling in and I have never seen such a poor quality item from Ashley Furniture after spending THOUSANDS over the years here. She tells me they will contact me in 48hours. Today I finally get an email stating this: "Hello, This is Ashley Furniture, reaching out to advise you that as per our terms and conditions, Ashley Furniture does not allow returns or reselections once the items have been delivered and invoiced. Unfortunately your refund request has been denied at this time. If you have any questions please call us at 800-477-0097. Thanks for shopping Ashley Furniture! " This has been 30 days dealing with this bullshit and HOURS wasted due to complete lack of follow up from their team. I will NEVER purchase anything from Ashley again and will make sure my family and friends do the same.

    $8,000 spent, a MILLION phone calls, 3 in store visits and 2 weeks later, I'm sleeping on the floor because I didn't receive the board for my bed today...I still have the wrong table, my lamp is still broken and my dresser has screws hanging out in the wrong places.... Delivery drivers showed up with no tools, had to use ours, and put all the trash/boxes in our builders dumpster.... What in the world is going on??!! Never again will I shop at Ashley's. And don't ask for salesman named Bryan.... complete waste of time. Does not return calls or texts. #RoomsToGo

He was not pushy and understood the right amount of sales savvy. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. He let me come to a decision without being pushy or even steering me where HE wanted. He gave me a great deal and even put it in writing. He even said to have the rep call me from Mattress1 (3 doors down) if I found something and that he would not only price match, but 10% off! So I went to Rooms to Go (rediculously inflated "President's Day Sales" prices), Mattress Clearance and finally to Mattress1. The Mattress Clearance location had no sales rep anywhere to be found! The place was sketchy and w no rep I started to feel concerned for my safety. When I got to Mattress1 (my original intended location), the rep had another client and promptly greated me and explained that he was tending to another. I tried all the mattresses while he was detained. I found 2 mattresses that felt good. One of the mattresses was one that I also liked at Mattress Firm w Logan. Both were priced at 1799.00. Logan offered it to me for 925.oo w free boxspring 40.00 delivery (normally 89.00) and even offered same day delivery! When the rep finished and came back to me, he immediately walked up to me. I asked about the 2 I selected. He did not offer anywhere near as much info about them like Logan did. He then told me that because of the sale the mattresses that I wanted were the only ones left (the floor models) and that they wouldn't be new unless he waited for a new stock in 2 weeks. He also told me there was no wiggle room in the price but that I could get a free boxspring and delivery. He even offered me 2 free pillows for the price on a old used mattress! When I showed him what Logan offered at Matress Firm, he said that was a great deal and walked away. So did I. I went back to Mattress Firm and Logan. He explained the 120 day guarantee for exchange, the 10 year warranty, the delivery and even threw in 2 memory foam pillows for free! I thoroughly recommend Matress Firm and Logan! He was great! Very kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, appreciative young man. I couldn't want anything more from a true sales professional! I got delivery the next day (I requested it to be able to clean). Even they were great. They came when I requested, were polite and very efficient! They were in/out in 5 minutes flat! I didn't even get a chance to tip them! They explained the protocol and again the warranty and promptly left. Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end! They even gave me a coupon for a friend for 15% off! Happy with the mattress, service and delivery! Kudos to Logan and everyone at Matress Firm! Very highly recommended!!!

While I love using Abt Electronics out of Chicago - due to the rush circumstances I had to rush the order and decided on F Tate (insert any F word you want)... Within a few days I received the replacement I ordered and within the day, it stopped working! More food gone bad! Called Ken Gough and emailed... Ken indicated he had no ability to provide a prompt a quick turnaround for a replacement. A new order was placed...That fridge did not last even 8 hours and it was not cooling! Yes - more food was spoiled and tossed out. 3rd try... I finally got a GE Fridge that worked! I have had conversations with Ken, by phone as well email. He is ineffective at any level of customer empathy, or responding in a Service minded manner! Takes an order acts rushed most of the time... he is selling only to help Ken Gough make a buck! I have asked for some consideration due to their reseller relationship with GE - that I would be provided any form of remuneration for the amount of food loss and time invested in a final resolution. NOTHING offered! This is the last time I will buy anything from F Tate Appliance... and I will be proactive to insert bad reviews to folks I know as well on the Nextdoor app for my community and Facebook too!

He was personable, factual, and funny. He listened to what I wanted in a mattress and recommended I try a bed he thought I might like within my price range. I kid you not, the first bed I tried was the only bed I tried because it felt as though that bed was made specifically for me! Keep in mind I tried all 30 beds in Macy's right before this and had some I would have considered returning to for purchase after Mattress Firm if need be. I was worried coming to a mattress store that some salesman would be pushy or hovering but that wasn't the case at all. Joe laid down the facts about the mattress and then told us to take some time to lay on the mattress. In fact he encouraged to lay on it even longer than I would have thought normal in a store to really get a feel for it and let my body make the decision. Long story short. Joe helped me pick a mattress that feels like laying on a cloud with a great price! He made my day by just being a wonderful guy and not being that stereotypical salesman that we all love to hate. My friend and I said to each other after walking out of the door he graciously held open for us, that Joe is the kinda guy that makes you want to stop in just to say hi to from time to time! But do know that after you buy the mattress, you are no longer a possible commission and the customer service is none existent. We went in after we bought out mattress and pillows to see if we could exchange a pillow in the box, with all paperwork, in the plastic wrap (slightly open), and they refused to even look at the pillow. We were quickly turned away and told the pillows were not refundable and there was nothing we could do. If I was to just buy the new pillow, it was $209. The pillow I bought was thrown in at $1 due to buying a mattress. So yeah.... Don't expect much from the store once you're no longer a possible commission. No sympathy, no "im sorry", no care at all.

I came in contact with the most amazing, caring and unique man who works there,Jerry. He had another employee who was a woman about my size try out every position possible in the few recliners I was looking at, and I did end up buying the sectional,the lazy boy recliner and a sofa table set. Every time I had any questions or minor problems I didn't even deal with calling customer service, I would call Jerry. He is such a wonderful, kind and caring man. He goes above and beyond what any sales person or manager that I've ever dealt with and I've called that poor man so many times the past year, I actually know his work schedule! But he reminds me of the days when I was growing up and shopped at places, and back then the employees in stores sometimes became like family. I haven't felt that way about anyone in any of the places I have frequented in decades! His patience and genuine caring really stand out, I went into the store today and purchased a mattress and adjustable base with him and he took alot of time having me try different mattresses and because I have some physical problems,as I believe we are all human and he does as well,he really wanted me to get the best mattress I could for comfort and durability. What a wonderful, wonderful man he is! I've bothered him so much over the past year and he has ALWAYS helped me, even returning calls when he wasn't working or was with other customers! He reminds me of my uncle who passed away in 2009 who was like a father to me. I actually cried when I left the store today because he truly made me feel like I was family and that's something that I haven't felt from anyone since my mom passed in 2018.. I just hope that we always stay in contact because he's touched my heart in a way I didn't believe was possible since I thought it had turned to stone after I lost my mom. Here is everything wrong with it: - the worst part of all is that EVERY SINGLE DRAWER only opens 50%. Please make sure you check that at the store. I didn't think of it when I saw the models because I didn't know in the world existed drawers there only open halfway! Is so frustrating and you can't take them out to organize them. Please don't buy from here! - the king bed doesn't fit a king mattress it leaves HUGE gaps either at the foot or head of the bed. If you move the mattress all the way down, all your pillows fall between the headboard and mattress. And if you put it all the way up, there's a huge gap at the foot of the bed that you can see the contents of the drawer. Please don't buy from here! - that takes me to the third point, the drawers on the foot of the bed are completely open, literally just a box shoved in a hole, there's nothing protecting what's inside. So ALL THE DUST that falls and is under the bed, will cover whatever is inside the drawer! Please don't buy from here! -the night stands come with outlets, which is great, but in order to use them you have to keep the flap ON TOP of the nightstands OPEN! Meaning 1/3 or tour nightstand is unusable, there are no holes doe the cables to come out from, it has to be literally OPEN. So your lamp, or surround sound speakers will sit halfway through your nightstand. Please don't buy from here! -our bed is not even 6 months old, and it squeaks like it's 100 years old! We pulled the mattress and realized how CHEAPLY made the bed is. They have these wooden poles that go across the bed to hold the mattress, they are probably a in thick, and they don't reach the end of the bed frame, they are mostly screwed at the edge of the platform. So a bunch of them have cracked, making our bed sound so loud, it wakes up our 4 month old that sleeps in his crib in our room. Please don't buy from here! -along with that, the "support" of those wooden poles are done by a bunch of sticks all across the bed so you can't put anything under the bed for storage, only small things here and there. So if you counted on storing winter clothes or something big under your bed, you will no longer have the space. And the drawers their provide are not enough, and the whole point is to get more space not less. Please don't buy from here! -the inside woods, the ones that are not exposed are soo cheap that if you touch them you'll get splinters. Please don't buy from here! I get so frustrated at this purchase that I cry at times for being so stupid at making this decision. The worst part is you don't realize how badly made this set it until you live with it until your everyday life gets more frustrating because EVERYTHING about this set is just wrong. We can't return it because we drilled holes in the back of the nightstands to be able to have access to our cables to charge our stuff. It has been the worst decision, and the biggest regret I have ever had in a purchase. Over $2,000 gone to the garbage. I will NEVER ever ever ever buy another piece from here. I'm so disappointed and hurt that a "reputable" company would sell such product, so low quality, so dysfunctional. We looked at 10+ stores at over 30 bedroom sets and regret everyday buying this one, we thought we did our research but sadly we were talked into buying something subpar. The only good thing that came out of this, is that the next piece of furniture I buy, will be scrutinized to the last detail. I will check every inch of it.
