This has been the worst experience from beginning to never ending end. The first idiots who tried to deliver my couch said it didn't fit in a standard door, messed up my wall and bled that's right bled on my wall. Do not buy from Ashley. I bought a 3 piece leather living room set in February. I paid about $11K. In July I noticed discoloration on the recliner and peeling (which should NOT happen on leather). I contacted the store multiple times and customer service multiple times in late July. I was told that replacement covers would be ordered and sent to me in August. Then, that date was pushed back to mid September. Then that date was pushed back to mid October. When I contacted them recently to let them know, I still haven't gotten the so-called replacement parts, which a technician would then need to come and install, they said that I might not get them until December ( they have been giving me a different month since July) because they are coming from overseas and are on back order. Trust me, with the holiday traffic, I will not receive them in December. When I paid for the furniture, Ashley received my payment immediately. There was no 4 to 6 month delay. Zero delay on getting my money. The furniture is also warrantied. So, they are not standing behind the warranty. Customer Service has told me several times that Ashley has the ability to simply replace the recliner, but they would rather drag this on, rather than simply replacing the recliner. So, beware of buying from Ashley. If something goes wrong, they will not stand behind their products. There are many other furniture stores that can be considered. I can see why you only have two stars. My wife and I found two recliner chairs that we fell in love with. Cushy, comfortable so we bought two. We received the chairs and they were like sitting on concrete. That was on a Thursday so the following Monday and I went in and sat in the chair on the showroom and it was super comfortable. I asked my salesperson and she tried to help but I asked for the manager who I believe is Brian. He told me the chair in the showroom had been there for about 5 years and was well broken in and ours would eventually be as well. That's just pure BS. Absolutely worst company I have ever experienced. I wish I could give this place a -5 stars for how awful this costumer service is. My sister and I recently moved into a new place and walked into Ashley and were overwhelmed so many awesome items. But be aware, most items aren't available for take home, but must be shipped. We had no problem paying for shipping, so we ordered some nightstands, some counter stools, a couch, etc. We had two stools delivered and we loved them, so we went into the store and ordered a third. The third stool was delivered and was the wrong height. My sister went into the store and was told she couldn't be helped because it was an online order. We have spent a MONTH dealing with multiple phone calls, being put on hold for 45 minutes, live chatting on their website, speaking with 9 different people about this dumb stool. After a month of going back and forth with this company, getting told multiple different things, someone just told us today they have a seven day return policy and we would just need to throw it out or donate it and purchase a new one. The frustration with this company is sky high. We have decided to keep the stool and whenever anyone asks about why one of our stools in way too big, we will explain this story and tell them to never shop at Ashley Home Store again. Now right when it can't get worse it does, I had ordered a nightstand and wanted a second one for the other side of my bed. I ordered it in black. It came a week later in white. ZERO stars- due to customer care and lack of delivery communication. Waited 2 months for a dining room set and was then told to wait an additional 2 months for a total for 4 month. Store confirmed a delivery date and time 2 months after order date, but customer care stated there was no delivery scheduled. Systems always seem to be down. When you call the store it takes several attempts before someone even picks up the phone. Customer care takes greater than 30 minutes on hold to speak with someone and even then their recommendation is to call the store to settle any issues... Managers have no way to communicate with the warehouse other than by email, further delaying information. Not worth the time, money, or effort from the consumer. I am giving this location a 3 because even though they had a good variety (colors, styles, size, etc.) the sales people are SHARKS. You will not have a relaxed shopping experienced here. The person that greeted us was friendly and the couches I bought are comfy but they really need to work on their customer service. I bought 2 couches, a dining room set, 2 counter stools and an adjustable bed with mattress. My sister and I were adamant that the adjustable bed must have legs that can be lowered since my sisters dog is aging and can't jump high. After back and forth with the sales associate and manager they insisted they were ordering the adjustable base with adjustable legs but sure enough when it was delivered it was the wrong base. We told the delivery men but they said "oh it will be fine it's not that high" but once the mattress was on it was way too high. Ashley contacted me to ask how the delivery went and I told them about the bed and she said she would put in a case number for me. Weeks went by and I finally got an email telling me to call the adjustable base customer care number...unbelievable! It takes them weeks to get back to me with no resolution but because I called about returning the stools I also bought after THEIR 72 hour window they refuse to take them back. I am very disappointed with Ashley Home store, particularly the location in Brandon, Florida. To begin, I placed an order for some furniture in November of 2021 and didn't t receive it all until May of 2022. I was even promised a compensation of 300 dollars for the wait, which I never received. Upon my final set of furniture arriving, the delivery men that brought it left my home with damages all over the floor and the furniture itself. They were rude and disrespectful to me in my own home and were even being racist to me, making fun of my English because I have an accent. Being tired of this service, I wanted to return the furniture set and the store refused to take the mattress and base. What am I supposed to do with a mattress and base and no other furniture that went with it? When trying to resolve this, Ive spent countess hours and wasted my own time sitting on the phone to speak to someone to help me. When I would finally reach someone, they would just hang up. This branch and company have now entered the bottom of the barrel in service levels and for the past 2 months they've lost all credibility (not that they had much before). Having purchased a new home, I thought it best to shop for all furniture in one area. Granted, I was warned not to even step foot in an Ashley, I wanted simple and they provided it at the time. Low and behold, not so simple. Quite the opposite, actually. I ended up spending close to $5,000 in this store. The rep took over an hour to check me out because she acted confident, but made 20 mistakes while entering product in the system. She also had no idea when items would ship, thus the guessing game began. I should have walked out then, but I couldn't accept wasting all that time so I stayed the course. My items arrived in 5 different shipments, on 5 different days, with little to no warning. GOOD LUCK CALLING THE BRANDON SERVICE TEAM. They are all unqualified and will leave you on hold for 15min at a time. One call I had with them lasted 50 minutes, 38 of which I was on hold (I had my wife time it due to our terrible previous calls). Items arrived damaged on multiple occasions. They had to resend items weeks away from the date I was told. All in all, I was left with a $700 computer desk that took THREE different shipments to get it right and it STILL was assembled poorly and off-skew. I have a $250 office chair that was broken ONE WEEK after arrival. The lumber support mechanism gave out within days (I only weigh 180lbs) and then the entire back support broke. We received damaged bar stools and a rug that looked like it had been dragged through the street on arrival. When calling them multiple times, management notified me that I would be "compensated" for my troubles. I then asked, "what type of compensation", to which they responded, "just call back in once all items are delivered and we'll help you out". Well, guess what? All items have no been delivered and when I called in I was fortunate enough to speak to a woman that sounds like she just got out of training yesterday. She put me on hold 5 different times for a collective 23 minutes, only to tell me "I have no notes in my system about helping you out and it's been over 3 weeks since your chairs arrived, so we can't do anything". Been a customer for 20+ years. We went into the Brandon Ashley store in the middle of September and ordered a king bedroom set from Sunshine. My husband was called from Jackie and told we could not get the bed we wanted. Ashley was told by us to send what they had with the storage set. We were told it would be delivered by October 16. They sent the bed with no parts to put together on that day. I waited until December and I was told that it could of been shipped to me the original way that I wanted this whole time! 5 months of nonsense from their employees when it could of been a easy transaction. Horrible product and horrible customer service. We purchased a kitchen table and 4 chairs along with the warranty and opted for the free home drop-off. I put the legs on the table while the tabletop was still in the box covered with foam. When we turned the table over there was a huge dent in the corner with particle board and melamine sticking out. The box was not damaged so I can only assume they packaged it already damaged after they made it in Vietnam. My wife took a picture and was on the phone for an hour for them to say they need to send a tech to confirm it cannot be repaired, like it's not already obvious. The soonest they could send someone was in a week and a half, after my son's birthday party which was the reason we bought the table. We got the ok to put the chairs together so we have something to sit on. I put 2 chairs together...tighten some hex bolts....not rocket science. I stopped after 2 because they both had 1 leg that was floating a half inch off the floor. The horizontal supports that tie the front and back legs together were an inch and a half too short. I called again and asked to be escalated. After an hour and 40 minutes I probably only spoke to someone for 20 minutes and was on hold the rest of the time. I asked if I could cancel my order and was told they have to attempt 3 exchanges before I can submit for a refund which would take another 10 days after the 3rd exchange. I sent some additional photos and was told to call tomorrow. I called again and got an exchange approved and scheduled for 3 days. 3 days passed and I had everything outside the front door waiting for the exchange. It was after 5 so I called to check delivery status. They told me I had no delivery scheduled that day, but for in another 3 days. I called escalation again and was told that even though my email confirmed delivery for today that it was somehow changed to 3 days later without any warning or reason. I told them that they are a joke. They took my money seconds after I swiped my card and they are not holding up to their end of the deal so why should I. I was told I would be contacted in 24 to 48 hours to get an unknown time frame for pick up and an unknown time frame for a refund. They are a joke! There is a reason why it takes 20 minutes to reach someone when you have a complaint....you have to wait in a long line because they sell overpriced garbage and make it difficult to get your money back. Worst furniture buying experience they delivered a very damaged TV stand and we refused it. Delivery man said we would get a call in 10-15 minutes from customer service and that never happen called the next day the customer care number and was told the piece hadn't been checked back in that it was damaged so they couldn't help me. Called again the next day and the next and finally was told another TV stand was ordered. Did try calling the store for days and the phone just rings & no one ever answers. So after 9 days we received another TV stand and it has some minor damage and someone is to come out and fix it. While walked out a different way we found some stuff that had our interest and took a seat to see what was available online. My wife and I bought some bedroom furniture from Ashley Furniture. We had the furniture about a week and decided that we might need a bigger bed so we contacted the customer service to see if we would be able to upgrade to a larger bed. The lady on the phone said she would send my request in and someone would get back to me in 2-3 days. About a week later we had not heard anything so my wife called again which they apologized and said they were going to escalate the request. Still no phone call days later so she called again. They again apologized and said they were sending us a $100 gift card for the trouble and someone would still be getting in touch with us. We received the gift card, but still have not heard from Ashley. At this point we do not want the upgrade. Funny thing is if Ashley told us they could not grant our request we would have been ok with it and not been upset because we were the ones who made the decision on what size bed to get. We are more frustrated with the lack of customer service or better yet this is Ashley's way of not having to exchange the bed by saying someone will contact you but never do.
