    On the showroom floor- notice all the slats on the bed and the drawers close just fine under the slats.

    Buyer beware! I spent over $4,000 on a bedroom set. The set was delivered and set up by Ashley. Every single piece of furniture was damaged- badly. The bed was missing all the slats needed to place the mattress on top of it. The drawers underneath the bed do not even close. The people setting up the bed either did not care, or had no idea what they were doing. They tried hiding things before they left- quickly. They cracked the bed frame and just left it. We tried calling the technician back right after they left but they would not answer the phone. We called Ashley furniture and they said they would try to get a hold of them, but to no avail. They said we would get called back within 2 to 3 days. I even went back to the store a handful of times. I did not hear back from them until 3 days later, and Crystal left me a vm but didn't call me back. I am beyond disgusted with Ashley furniture customer service and lack of quality with their furniture and delivery set up. They don't seem to want to make it right. No communication and no call backs.

    Chris our sales person was great. The manager Brad made sure we didn't have to drive to Pooler also! Great experience. Highly recommend. We love all of our Ashley furniture!!

Less than an hour later, I received an email asking for photographs to show the damage and promising to fix it. They came when they said they would to pick it up, and have promised to return it to us either repaired or replaced. So why am I talking about something that went wrong? Because their selection and the quality of the sales people is already firmly established here on Yelp and in their reputation in our community. Standing by their products and offering proactive customer service is something that is sorely lacking these days and earns them the 5th star. Anyone can sell you stuff. Not everyone has this commitment to customer satisfaction. These photographs do not show the damaged chair; they show some of the beautiful things that you too could purchase from Palm Casual with the assurance that if something isn't perfect or right that they will stand by it and you.

The dining table is great. The recliner is not great. Within 2 days of the chair being delivered on 3-5-2026 the motor froze and the chair was unusable. The store picked the chair up on 3-12-2026 to repair it. Since then, now 30 days later, I have had to call the store weekly to try and find out when I will get the fully paid for chair back. The sales lady, Liz, tells me that it is not under her control and advised the in house repairman, Sam, has to update me. Sam never calls back so I keep calling the sales lady who can only tell me a motor was ordered. Just the other day I asked for a brand new chair to be delivered as I should not have to wait for a dud chair they sold me to be repaired. She would not commit to that and said Sam would call me. Well, Sam did not call me as usual. It is ridiculous that this store will not fulfill this order in a timely manner and does not communicate. They also do not refund or I would have requested a refund two weeks ago and gone elsewhere. Be sure you are aware this store will not refund purchases and be prepared for terrible service for problems after the sale. I can't recommend this store after this experience. I asked to speak to the owner and was told they are on vacation - very convenient. I called again today and still no call back. Buyer beware.

After eating at a card table for 4 months, we picked out a different set. I thought that they'd match the price of the original, but we had to pay the difference. It came and all was fine. The tabletop got ruined so we ordered a new one. They brought the wrong one! The next one they delivered had a defect, so they took it back and back to eating on the card table. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but was not because of 2 excuses. We waited for 4 hours. We were supposed to be the first delivery at 2:00, but it's now 5:15 and no delivery and another excuse and another day of waiting for 4 hours. No more Furniture Outlet for us!

The showroom is large and exquisitely presented providing fully decorated vignettes of various home living spaces. The design consultant, Melanie, was extremely knowledgeable and directed us to the specific pieces we were interested in. No pressure tactics, no sales pitch overload. We already own several pieces of EA furniture and expect it to last indefinitely. My MIL still has a couch that was purchased 40 + years ago and it is still in excellent condition. Many, many family members and friends have sat on this piece time and time again - certainly proof of the quality and craftsmanship that this company stands for. Our experience here was top notch in every respect. We look forward to adding some new pieces to our current EA collection.

If you need the item "to go" or soon, go to the clearance room as I often do. Do note that now heavier items bought off the floor must be delivered. (undoubtedly there was a lawsuit which is unfortunate ) Now--and I want to honest but respectful--the sales associate was not overly friendly today. Maybe it was a bad day or she had a personal issue. I think I annoyed her by asking where the reception desk had gone. Other questions were likewise met with mild annoyance ( about how to recognize items made in North America vs those produced in cheaper Asian markets) I also remarked that the staff had changed since last year and I was told it hadn't. (I guess I was wrong) But when I asked about taking a picture off the wall, the same associate said, "if you are going to buy it!" That's when said "Did you think I was going to?" I then remarked I had felt a "frosty reception" since I arrived. She apologized, though I told her she didn't need to, and I bought my picture from her and left. ( All I could think of was that I would labeled a Karen) But, in the end', It was a jarring experience to be sure. Another sales associate offered to bubble wrap the picture (a nice gesture) but I declined, as I was not driving far. Interestingly, the associate said she had helped me last year after I asked who had sold me apiece last summer. I don't enjoy a lot of cheap furniture or design items, so coming to EA is always a joy, but this time there were some pieces that looked tacky and some garish pictures of tigers and lions and other exotic animals on black backgrounds. Of course, style is in the eye of the beholder. Most of what they sell is tasteful. And they have a free design service. Will I come back to Ethan Allen? Yes, I will, but I do hope that the atmosphere in Bluffton is more welcoming next time. In the Lexington, Kentucky, store the reception desk ( yes, they still have one) is always much friendlier.
