Ok, plain and simple. If you need a mattress look NOWHERE else! Especially if you are an out of town owner who will only be at their place for a few weeks. Most mattress places don't stock king size for some reason. The girl at mattress firm said it was because there was no call for them in the area which didn't make sense. She then recommended we stop at Mattress Shop an talk to Reggie who stocks king size. So happy we did! Reggie is personable, funny and very knowledgeable about mattresses. After telling him what we were seeking we were directed to two Serta's that he had IN STOCK and the mattress and box spring tags were dated 11/21/2019 and everything was sealed in plastic. We went with a great pillow top and the whole set was $1282.00 with delivery which he said if we had stopped in earlier he could have done the same day! Unheard of in this area. We had our set delivered the next day (day before Thanksgiving) and the men brought the set and frame up to our third floor villa, set everything up and took away our old queen set. Reggie had sent the king frame just in case our current frame didn't expand to king, which it didn't and he included it for free. This all took about 30 minutes! Tip these delivery guys too, they really hustle and are very careful about what they do. This is a locally owned business so if your in the market for a mattress make it your first stop! Reggie (the owner) is fabulous and knows the questions to ask to quickly narrow down the search for a mattress based on how you sleep, etc. Fair pricing as well. We needed to replace a way too soft mattress at our vacation rental. We walked in on Monday morning and although he didn't have the one we wanted in stock, was able to rearrange some orders coming in and deliver one on Thursday. I cannot recommend this place enough. I came in in dire need of a box spring for my tenants who were checking in today at 4 PM. If anyone knows what the industry is like right now during Covid, it's next to impossible to get same-day service on the bed or boxspring or any furniture for that matter. Reggie went above and beyond to find a solution for me and I managed to walk out of there with a box springs within minutes. This is my second time buying from Reggie and every time I have been here I have received what I would call "white glove" service. My orthopedic doctor recommended Mattress Shop to me after suffering at times debilitating lower back and sciatica pain when waking up in the morning. Reggie, the owner, was very knowledgeable about what type of mattress and angle adjusting structure under it to choose to help me. I have spine fusion at 4 levels and bone spurs. I slept in my new bed last night and woke up essentially pain free this morning. My pain had been declining since I ordered the bed a couple weeks ago thanks to an anti inflammatory creme I have been applying plus swimming. But this morning is the first time I woke up essentially pain free. Reggie also measured me to determine the height the mattress should be for me to be able to get on the bed without using a foot stool, as I am only 5 feet tall. He also ordered the made to order mattress from a location with the fastest delivery time. He kept me up to date when that delivery would be, a date that was pushed back a couple days mostly due to corona virus supply chain problems. Also, Reggie does stand behind the mattress warranties. I know that because another customer came in with a problem with his recently purchased mattress and Reggie told him he would come out to inspect the mattress either himself or send his partner to inspect it to remedy the situation if indeed there was a warranty covered issue with the mattress. Customer service is horrible! Bought a mattress and after a couple of day of sleeping on in I noticed the center was bowed in so I called to have them check it out before my thirty days. The rep kept saying he was too busy and couldn't come out to see the problem. When he finally did he was rude and said the warranty didn't cover that. I never saw any papers of warranty. I kept calling and when he finally called back he said sorry it's been past 30 days. He purposely ignored my calls so my thirty days would expire. Worse place ever!! read more
