On Black Friday I wanted to get a deal on a mattress and patio furniture for an upcoming event on my new patio for New Year's Eve. I chose to go to Ashley's because of the quality of their furniture. The salesperson was very nice and knowledgeable. During the course of our shopping we mention to her that this furniture was need for our event and she informed us the only thing that wasn't in stock was the adjustable frame and it should arrive well before we needed the other. She assured us she would call us on that Monday for delivery specifics. We were ok with not having the bed..just needed the patio furniture so we made the purchase. Monday came and no call. I called on Tuesday and a representative inform me my order wouldn't arrive to the warehouse until Dec 30th and to my house by Jan 2nd. I told them that was not what I was told. They sent a message for the rep to call. When she called she told me the same thing and apologized. I asked if I could just have what was on the floor and I was turned down. The only thing they offered was a $100 return or store credit. What am i going to do with $100 at Ashley's. She said to give her a chance to fix it and she would call me by Dec 9th for an update... Well you guessed it..no call! I call again on Tuesday to speak with the manager. The manager stated, after a long conversation, that I could not have the display and that she would check with merchandise and give me a call the next day because they were closed for the night... welll....once again... no call...to this day no call. I am afraid I will have no furniture for my party on New Year's Eve unless I go purchase more. If I had known this would have happened, I would have shopped elsewhere on Black Friday. Now if I have to purchase more it will be at full price. I am very disappointed in the customer service I have received thus far. Shame on Ashley's! read more

I'm updating this review ONLY because I was serviced immediately by Ryan. While I am still upset about my initial experience with the insurance stuff, I am happy to admit that Ryan is a man of his word and went out of his way to make sure that I was taken care of after the issues. I really appreciate Ryan for his prompt and professional service! read more

DO NOT ORDER FURNITURE FROM HERE!!! My boyfriend and I ordered a bedroom set February 9th for our new house. We have yet to receive it almost two months later. The salesman told us it would be delivered within two weeks. This is probably something they say to get you to order from them knowing that it'll take much longer. We called several times to check on the status of our order and each time we get that our order is delayed. We finally were told that it would be at the warehouse the 18th and delivered 24-48 hours after that. Well here we are. Still no furniture. My boyfriend and I have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor and have clear containers for a dresser. Will never order from Ashley again. read more

Ashley always has knowledgeable, friendly sales staff that listens to your needs and makes excellent recommendations. Their products are excellent quality at affordable prices. It's been said you can get a great price, a great product and great service. Pick 2, you'll never get all 3. Ashly breaks that mold. read more

The customer service at this store is terrible. The manager is terrible he will not call you back and they will not answer the phone. I purchased a coffee table and lamps - they didn't have my first set but never received a call to say that they were not in stock. I had to go to the store and i did pick out another set and they said they would be in but called and checked and again out of stock. It was my fault i should have cancelled but i loved the coffee table and got in on sale. I went to store again because they will not answer phone the manager would not come talk to me but the sales person promised me these lamps would be delivered but on the delivery was here and no lamps. I called again to customer service and they promised me the manager would call but the office staff called and said they would refund be and as of now i still have not refund. I had to dispute this on my card. They missed out on my business i will never shop there again. Terrible management - read more

Extremely poor customer service. Ordered and paid for two recliners on June 13. I was told the chairs would be at Ashley's warehouse on July 14th and someone would call me to set a delivery date. On July 17th I was told the eta at the warehouse had been changed to August 14th. On August 8th I received a text message that stated the delivery would happen on August 12th. On August 10th I received a call saying delivery had been changed to August 18th and we should call to schedule a time for delivery. I called the number given twice and was placed on hold for 30 minutes each time with no subsequent answer. A call to customer service resulted in being told the order would not be at the warehouse until August 27th. At this point, I wonder if the chairs will be here by Christmas, I will never darken the door of this store again and I seriously suggest people go anywhere else to shop for furniture. read more

This review is for the Ashley Outlet 502 Fountain Parkway Grand Prairie, Texas 75050 I am due to close on a home this week and was in need for a few new pieces. In browsing after work, I had narrowed my selections down to furniture at two different stores. that is, until I decided to drive out (from McKinney) to the Ashley Outlet on Friday. I called before I went to confirm the hours, etc. I had spoken with someone but could not remember the name. I was immediately met at the door by the very person who provided the information to me over the phone. He knew who I was when I asked about the twin beds that I was searching for. Shaun House was my salesperson. I am a picky consumer, who wants the BEST quality at the BEST POSSIBLE price. I am also very BIG on good customer service and I received just that. Shaun was polite, professional, PATIENT and extremely helpful in assisting me with my selections. I was so pleased with Shaun, I purchased everything from Ashley. I purchased: a leather living room set for my den, two twin beds, full bed, two night stands, a dresser and two TV stands. Each piece is beautiful, good quality and reasonably priced. You can NOT always believe what you read, so I would challenge you to just stop by one day. I would hope that you would receive the same experience, even if Shaun is busy. read more

N 2015, i I bought a couch and added the extra warranty service, the one that covers everything from tears to pet damage. The salesman assured me this would cover any and everything. My dog tore a hole in the sofa, and the warranty company told me it only covers vomit and urine. Strike 2, the sofa started tearing at the seems in less than one year. It also ripped across the fabric. The warranty company passed the blame onto the manufacturer, stating they would not cover this but we might get Ashley to replace the cushion backs. The Ashley representatives refused to consider this as a problem. This company does not stand behind their products and I feel as though they ripped me off with bad furniture and a bogus insurance policy read more

I bought a house last year and started shopping at ashley. Bought a sofa set and was happy with it. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is the the extended warranty they offer is a load of crap. DON'T GET SUCKERED IN! I asked if pet scratches was covered in the warranty and of course the guy said yes. But a year later I called and they told me I wasnt covered. read more

We will never shop at Ashley Furniture in-store nor online ever again. They can't be trusted! We purchased a Dining room table and 6 chairs online and paid for their "No-Hassle" delivery and assembly. The chairs arrived a week earlier than the scheduled delivery date by Fed-Ex in boxes separately from the dining table. I had a neighbor bring the large boxes in the house for me (I am disabled). Still believing that Ashley Furniture would assemble them when the table arrived but we were thoroughly disappointed when the table arrived and the assembly team stated they were not instructed to put the chairs together. So, I returned the entire order as Ashley took my money for assembly but failed to do what they said they would do. Furthermore, they will not issue a refund although product was returned to them. Chairs were picked up by UPS on 6/11/2022. they promised refund in 3-5 business days. I have reached out to them on several occasions as to determine where is my refund and have been constantly told the refund will be issued. It is July 5, 2022 and still no refund. Ashley Furniture is in the business of stealing money from customers, (Disabled customers!) read more

I didn't like their customer service, they try to be nice but I don't like them to be over you. Also prices are expensive.

The salesperson was great with assisting me pick out furniture! Very helpful, patient and accommodating. However, the customer service reps for Acceptance Now located within the Ashley furniture home store are unprofessional, disorganized and rude (specifically Chris). I wasted a lot of time going back and forth to the store because they did not have my paperwork together. There was a general lack of communication among reps and a lack of understanding for their own procedures and processes. They tried rushing me out of the store and therefore I had to come back multiple times. They are lazy, and clearly were not interested in working during my time there. Shame on Acceptance Now staff!! read more

I went to the Ashley Store in Arlington Tx. on 11/30/2019. I purchased two sofas with the promise they would be available for delivery on 12/15/2019. On 12/17 when no one called me I called Ashley and was told the items were on a truck and would be in later but they could not tell me when later would be. I asked for a refund and was told that would take 14 business days. I was not agreeable and asked for a manager. I was told the items were not on a truck they were on back order and someone should have called me. I asked for a refund and was promised it would be done the next day on 12/18. The refund was not completed as promised so I called again and spoke to another manager who said accounting had the refund request and promised it would be done that night. Again another broken promise. It is now 12/19 and I still have no refund and no one at Ashley does what they say they will do. Do not shop here they lie and now appears they are trying to steal my money. read more

Memorial weekend my husband and I walked into this store and were ignored numerous times. Ignored at the front door while other couples were immediately helped. Ignored walking around the store, even though some associates were waiting for more people to walk in. Finally my husband had to go tap an associate on the shoulder and ask where the childrens furniture was. He pointed us in the right direction then continued talking to his co-workers. When we got to the childrens section. not one, not two but THREE associates made eye contact with us and kept walking to assist other people. We brushed this aside and kept looking at the furniture. We eventually found a full bed set we liked and was willing to pay cash for it but decided not to spend our money here. 45 minutes of neglect cost this store $2,500. read more

Where to begin... 1. Bought the couch and it took them a month to deliver it.. which is a month without a couch at all. Not exactly convenient. 2. Delivery guys were great but OBVIOUSLY overworked and underpaid. 3. The sectional broke after 2 weeks when my husband sat on it (he is not that big). 4. Someone came to our home to fix the couch 2 weeks later which took him 3 and half hours on a Saturday.. Which was annoying. 5. We were given information to set up financing through synchrony bank at the store. We set it up to autopay for 3x the minimum payment..which went through fine then BAM it doesnt. Does synchrony inform me? No, I get a letter in the mail saying my autopay has been cancelled several weeks after it was late (due 10/13 received letter 10/26). I immediately check my online account and I have a late fee and an overdue balance. Synchrony has both my email address and phone number to contact me but they choose to send a letter (which for the record said NOTHING about Synchrony not receiving a payment). 6. The day that Synchrony charged me a late fee, I paid off the couch since obviously Ashley's financing doesn't play nice.. which would be one thing if their furniture didn't crumble at the sight of 145 pounds. BUT since it's only intended job was to hold a chihuahua and two relatively skinny people I am WAAAY less than impressed. read more

Visited this store on Oct 6th, purchased some furniture. It is now Oct 23rd and they have promised 2 different delivery dates in which I still do not have the furniture. Ask to cancel the order and refund my money. They said they had to send an email, well it has been more than 24 hrs, no email. How can they charge my account and give me NOTHING but hateful, rude comments, including hanging up the phone when they ask my name. I will NEVER do business with them. Seems to be very unethical company that takes your money and use it, but will not deliver the products purchased. So sad in today's world. Can call Corp office they just transfer you back to the store you were calling to complain about. So guess this is their Corp way. Ignore you and keep your money and furniture. Win win for them. You now write a response. Oh the salesman knew the date it was discussed in length. Noting if that was true, I would pick another product. Funny the second date was set by your Store Mgr. So she too has no recollection? I refuse to do business with people that are not honest, not reputable, and want to blame someone else, like the customer for their inabilities. Sad sad sad. read more

Don't waste your money purchasing the Ashley Furniture Store warranty. The furniture I bought from them is 13 months old. When I called to report a hole in the couch and the dining room table veneer peeling, they refused to honor my claim. They ask me when I noticed the problem, and when i said a few weeks ago, they declined my claim on the basis that I had not reported it in 5 days!! I will never do business with them again, because their furniture is chep and shoddy and their warranty is completely worthless. read more

I was shopping for several items to take advantage of Labor Day sales prices. I appreciated the friendly customer service from L, as she offered to get me an price estimate for a sofa and bedroom suite. But when I asked for a print-out she said "We don't provide print-outs". Then I requested that she just write down the total $ amount. "We don't provide that." Who does business that way? I started to get that "this is a scam" feeling and I'm not going to give thousands of $$ to a store that is unable to provide a simple price-tag print-out. read more

his store is horrible. Ths customer service is even worse. I purchased my daughter's bed in April and its was supposed to be delivered by May 30th just in time for my daughter's birthday. I called to confirm a few days before and they stated pieces of her bed were missing. I was mad then they rescheduled the delivery date 3 times . They sales rep was impossible to reach and the store would never answer the phone. The customer service number didn't know anything and I stayed on hold for hours or get pushed to their voicemail. I had to go all the way to Arlington just to cancel my order because the sales rep acted like she didn't know what was going on. Once I got there the manager was rude and the lady in finance claimed she would call me in 7-10 days to make sure I received my refund. Never heard from her or the the manager. I had to call my bank to dispute the charges and my credit card company to let them know what happened. I closed my Ashley Credit Card and I WILL NEVER SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN. read more

ZERO stars for Ashley in Arlington! We bought a king sized mattress with "individually wrapped coils" which is suppose to increase the quality of the mattress. Once we had it however we realized that we could feel the vibration of each other's movements through the mattress like a hollow drum. It was a problem that we couldn't have imagined. I called the Arlington, TX store where we made our purchase and found out that the store has no return policy on purchases once they are inside the home. So now we're stuck with a brand name mattress designed for Ashley that keeps us awake at night. Don't go to Ashley if you're looking for quality! read more

Buyer beware! The furniture here looks great for a little while, but the quality and construction is poor so after 10-12 months you start noticing tears, squeaks, shifting, etc. We bought a leather sofa and love seat, spent about 2 grand; within the first year the color was coming off on the armrests, tears formed at the seams, the stuffing shifted so you could feel the wood, and the recliners on the ends began to stick. Our kids are grown, so only average sized adults sat on these. The store has a "too bad, not our problem" attitude. We will NEVER buy anything from Ashley's again. read more

This is beyond ridiculous. I purchased a queen bed, matrices and dresser for our new house. We purchased it back in April. At the beginning everything was nice. The person working with us told us when we are ready for the items to call the warehouse for them to be ready. We picked up the items and brought them to our house. I wish I would have had the guy open every box before they loaded it up into our Uhaul. It's not convenient do check it at the warehouse. We we got home and set up everything we took out the footboard. There was an obvious crack down the side on the board. We called up customer service and they planned to replace it and deliver it to our house. Here is where the problem comes... Ashley Furniture said they will deliver between 2:30-6:30. During this time I never received a phone call from the driver stating a time when they would be dropping it off. So we waited and at 5:30 I called them to see what the status was. They told me I was next in line and would call me when they are on their way. They never called. At 6:15 I called back and they said the same thing. Communication is the key thing for a successful business. I would have been fine if they called me up at 5:30 and said we are running late we will be there at 8:00pm. But when the person on the phone has no integrity or desire to figure out a solution when there is an obvious problem that's an issue. While the products might look nice the customer service and warehouse at the Arlington location is awful. I will reconsider where I purchase my furniture next time and it most likely won't be with Ashley due to a lack of communication. read more

This store has the absolute worse customer service. Also do NOT believe the delivery date they tell you. They guaranteed me delivery in 2-3 weeks. When I called to confirm they told me it would be at least 8 weeks. The only way this store makes money is off of payment plans. So if you pay in full upfront don't expect fast delivery. If you want furniture in a timely fashion, go somewhere else. The only good thing I can say is that their sales people aren't awful and will leave you alone to shop. I've lived in this area my whole life and never heard a single good story about this Ashley. ( I should have known better, but the price was good and i was in a rush) I truly do not know how they have managed to stay in business. read more

I never comment on anything but I think it's important for everyone to know, NEVER order from Ashley! They're horrible! The furniture is beautiful. However, I ordered my furniture June 9th, it's July 26th and I still only have half of my order! They pushed back my estimated arrival date 4 times. They initially told me June 25, then July 7, then July 13 and then July 27! They didn't want to deliver any of my order until they could deliver it all at once! Meanwhile I'm in my brand new home with no couches or even a bed to sleep on and they wanted me to wait another 2 weeks to have everything delivered! They finally agreed to make 2 separate deliveries so I could at least have a bed to sleep on BUT they wanted to charge me for the second delivery! It was absolutely ridiculous and frustrating! The manager finally agreed to waive the fee but now I'm dealing with a nightstand that was broken upon delivery and them wanting to postone my couches being delivered another week just so they can deliver the nightstand with it! Now I'm looking at my couches and nightstand not being delivered until about August 8th unless I'm willing to pay for an extra delivery! That's an entire 2 MONTHS after placing my initial order!! This company has absolutely ruined the excitement of buying and furnishing my first home! I will never buy from them again and would tell anyone not to either! read more
