Ashley and her team planned and executed our 140 person wedding at the Ocean Club In Nassau, Bahamas. To say they delivered is an understatement. Ashley and her entire team were extremely organized and super friendly and easy to work with. They moved heaven and earth during the actual wedding weekend to ensure every event was perfect and they made the wedding the most magical weekend of our lives. They are impeccable at scheduling, organization, and coordinating events, but their specialty is the unique and beautiful aesthetic they incorporate into each design element. Everything was done so thoughtfully and with such intention and it created a cohesive and beautiful environment the entire weekend. I can't recommend them enough for any type of special event and we will definitely work with them again in the future. read more

I simply can not recommend Ashley enough! She is professional, organized, prompt, sweet, and most of all makes her clients feel problem free on their wedding day. I have had the honor as a wedding cake baker to work with Ashley several times over the last 3 years. Ashley never plans a wedding the same way twice. Every time I work with her she plans the details around the personality of the couple. Which can be a difficult thing to do! I always make a point of referring her to my clients that are thinking about hiring a planner. I look forward to every time I get to work with her and you will too! read more

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Ashley for a wedding at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs. She was the wedding coordinator for the bride + groom. As an owner of a boutique DJ service, we have very high standards. Being vendors, we want to make the lives of the bride + groom as easy as possible. Ashley is incredibly professional and made the process very simple and seamless. She's very responsive (one of the most important qualities to have), hands on, and has a great personality. I really look forward in working with her again! David Eclectique DJs read more

My wedding morning was a leisurely one spent with my family and bridesmaids. That day, I literally had NOTHING to do and/or worry about. Ashley made the day run so incredibly smoothly. She also spent so much time with me prior to the wedding to make sure she had every little detail down for our big day. I couldn't have asked for someone more patient, sweet, kind, and organized than Ashley! Ps- she also gave me AMAZING vendor recommendations. My flowers were the prettiest things I have ever seen :) read more

Ashley from Buzzworthy Events did my wedding back in October - so sorry for the late review I am so bad at remembering these things! We hired Ashley to plan our February 2017 wedding about ten months in advance. We wanted a planner with a clean, unique, modern style. We had scheduled meetings with three planners, and met Ashley first. We hired her without meeting the other two - she was perfect. She's hands down the best wedding related decision we could have made. From the beginning, she was integral. She helped us to book our dream venue, an urban space that is literally a blank canvas. We had to bring everything in, from catering to rentals to bathrooms to lighting to staff, etc., including a lot of things that never would have occurred to us. Ashley was completely unfazed. From the beginning, she was highly organized. She also exudes calm, which makes a great combination - things were getting planned, and there was zero stress...or at least, we felt none! She let us know what decisions needed to be made, when. She created a shared Google folder to keep track of our plans and documents. She maintained a shared budget document, which she was constantly updating; she kept our budget on track (and found every which way to save us money) throughout the entire process. She sent us calendar invites for meetings and deadlines. When it was time for us to make a vendor decision, she sent us a curated list of trusted options and offered to send more if we vetoed any. (We never did. Her vendor recommendations were amazing.) Other than the tastings, floral mock up, etc., we had no contact with any vendors - Ashley fully managed our entire event, including all vendor communications, billings and deadlines, deliveries, etc. Her style is amazing - we worked well together, and she created and found the perfect looks and rentals to execute our event. Her communication was spot on - she only contacted us when necessary, but immediately responded to each and every email or text we sent. She was supportive and available, and we felt like we were her only clients. (We were not!) The month, week and day of our wedding, she was amazing. Though we are sure she had many balls in the air, it never showed. Our friends kept assuming we were inundated with "wedding stuff" the month of - we were not. In fact, we did very little "wedding stuff" at any given time, and especially just before the wedding. It was completely relaxing. When we showed up at the venue for pictures, it looked even better than we had imagined. Our wedding was fantastic, and Ashely made it happen; we are still getting compliments on the look, feel, food, band, experience and entire event. Ashley exceeded our expectations, and brought incredible style, support and knowledge to our wedding and process. Thank you, Ashley! read more

I could never be a wedding planner. Nor could I ever do what Ashley does. This is her passion and her Nitch. Being in the salon industry I have had my share of brides and weddings and know that the special day is a day of organized chaos. I've had the pleasure of knowing Ashley and watching her do her thing. She take this day of chaos and makes it a well planned day of love. There are so many small details to remember and think about and she remembers them all, even take them to another level! I highly recommend Ashley as a wedding planner. read more

We hired Ashley to plan our wedding in Marin in June 2017, with about 6 months to plan. To start with the end: our wedding was more fun, more beautiful, more relaxed, and more true to our vision and taste than we ever could have imagined. We can attribute that to Ashley's creativity, fantastic advice, generosity, and plain ol' kindness. We're still beaming from the compliments we continue to get from friends and family on the wedding. Here's the thing: I can write about all the things that make Ashley an excellent planner: her organizational skills (they're top-notch), her vendor recommendations (yes, yes yes), her experience and ability to anticipate logistical problems and suggest solutions, and her INCREDIBLE design aesthetic. But, what Ashley does goes so far beyond that. What stands out is her passion, her excitement for her craft (truly, she made us more and more excited for our own wedding by the day), and the fun she brings to the process. Ashley is truly a delightful human. I feared the type of stressful wedding planning I'd witnessed my friends experience, but it never felt that way with Ashley. That's not just because we trusted her, but because we looked forward to talking to her, hanging out with her, and getting inspired by the jolt of creative energy she brings to every conversation. Many people are relieved when wedding planning is over - I'm not. I miss Ashley! If you have the chance to work with Ashley, definitely do it. You'll end up with a wedding that leaves you with the best possible memories (and photos!). read more

If you are looking for an Event or Wedding Planner look no further. Buzzworthy Events is current & fresh. My husband and I were referred to Ashley Smith by a mutual friend and from the moment we met, I knew our wedding was going to be exactly what we wanted. Ashley was organized, calm, creative and DIY resourceful during the planning process, as well as day of. When an unexpected rain storm hit Palm Springs, Ashley talked me down from a near meltdown. She had a clear plan from start to finish and I couldn't imagine going through that process with anyone but her. read more

I have to start by saying that the first thing my husband said the morning after our wedding was "Wow, I have so much more respect for wedding planners. Ashley truly was a magician yesterday!" Honestly, I could write a novel about how pivotal Ashley was in making our wedding vision come to life! She really listens and is honest about what can be achieved, while staying respectful of your budget. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty and provide creative solutions to a wild and crazy idea! I felt so secure in her abilities that I was very low stress throughout the entire process and was especially blissed out on my wedding day. If you can budget for a planner, DO IT! And, consider someone as skilled as Ashley. The best way I can describe it is that she made everything feel light and easy instead of heavy and frustrating. We'll never be able to thank Ashley enough for creating the weekend of our dreams! read more

Ashley was hands down the best. Unlike other brides I had very little interest in planning my wedding or spending much time focused on details. Ashley rolled with it all. She took what little I gave her of my vision and made pure magic. From hunting down the perfect chairs to literally making the ceremony backdrop, she took on countless tasks without hesitation and the utmost style. Speaking of her style, there was never a moment I doubted her taste... her creativity and eye for style is unmatched! I'm just so grateful to have had her for my wedding. read more

I've worked with Ashley from Buzzworthy Events on multiple weddings. I am a wedding photographer and I always recommend using Buzzworthy Events to plan your event or wedding! Not only is Ashley incredibly creative but she is also organized and in control which is extremely important when trying to find a wedding planner. She makes it so easy for me to capture the most beautiful pictures for the bride and groom because she is detail oriented so all the decorations are perfectly put together. She also makes sure the days flows smoothly and takes care of any unforeseen issues that might arise at a wedding. My brides have always been beyond thrilled with Ashley and her team. We worked with Ashley on a wedding event and photoshoot. Her vision and execution were just stunning. Her aesthetic is unique in this industry and we really were delighted to let her creativity run free. She also has great relationships with other vendors and brought in really talented folks. Like attracts like! Not just a creative person, she was also very well organized and communicative. We'd loooove to work with her again. read more

Ashley is an event planner extraordinaire. Without her help, our wedding never would have come together. My (now) husband and I were not the ideal clients. While many couples get excited to plan their wedding, my husband and I had a bad habit of putting planning on the back burner. It did not help that we have very busy work schedules that stood as an impediment to giving wedding planning the attention it needed. Ashley was not fazed. She accommodated our busy schedules by making herself available at hours most people would balk at - like coming to our apartment for a planning session at 8:30 pm on a Friday night (which she did more than once). We booked a venue that required us to find all of our vendors. Ashley's recommendations for vendors were spot on. She also had helpful and creative ideas for the event that we never would have thought of ourselves. For example, rather than spending money on a photo booth, she suggested that we have Polaroid cameras at the reception. We did, and we enjoyed collecting all of the photos our guests took, and having them as a nice reminder of the day. Ashley expertly coordinated all of the details (down to what silverware we were renting) leading up to the event. When we realized a week before our outdoor wedding that it was going to rain the whole day, Ashley spent countless hours finding us a tent for the dinner portion of the reception (no small feat) and making last minute plans to move our outdoor ceremony indoors into a much smaller indoor area. She even built a copper chuppah herself the morning of the wedding. The last minute rain led to several last minute changes to the event, but the day went off so smoothly that nobody even knew. We were really lucky to have Ashley there to help guide us through that stressful change in plans. In sum, Ashley is fantastic. At the beginning of the wedding planning process, we thought hiring a wedding planner may be an unnecessary expense. I'm glad we came to our senses because there were myriad details that we would have really struggled to handle ourselves. We highly suggest Ashley for anybody looking for a reasonably priced and highly skilled planner. read more

Amazing wedding planner. We had a wedding in San Francisco, one of the most expensive cities in the country, and I had small budget. Even though she's done really expensive weddings, she didn't flinch and was able to accommodate us with some really amazing options within our budget. She is extremely well organized and helped us through all of the details we needed to do, like wedding websites, save the dates, finding a DJ, etc. She knows so many people in the city, which gave us the opportunity to find some amazing deals. She picked up on what our vision was for a wedding without us even knowing exactly what that was. I honestly didn't realize how important a good wedding planner was until she was working with us. I can't recommend her enough. read more

Ashley is absolutely incredible. My husband Michael and I originally planned to elope, but as we started going deeper into the details we realized we wanted nothing more than to celebrate this special union with our family and friends. Alas, we knew were going to be in over our heads and Ashley was the perfect navigator to help make our special day become a reality. Our number one rule in finding a planner was that we felt ourselves around them, and they took the time to get to know us as a couple and individuals. Ashley did just that. Her talent is undeniable when it come to style, creativity, and organizational skills - not to mention her amazing network and vendor suggestions! But more importantly, she listened to our story and understood what we wanted to get out of this day. She made our neighborhood San Francisco wedding dream come true. I could not recommend Ashley enough and am thrilled to call her a friend well after the big day. read more

We just had the most magical and unforgettable San Francisco wedding. We reached out to Ashley with Buzzworthy Events pretty last minute, and she was amazing! She was extremely organized, thorough and creative. She thought of every detail and truly helped to create a seamless and beautiful event. So, I hardly ever Yelp, but I'm so thrilled at how wonderful our wedding turned out that I've got to give credit where it's due. with. Ashley with Buzzworthy Events began helping my husband and I with our wedding planning back in January, and I'll admit that I was a little nervous about the whole process. We had a modest budget by San Francisco standards and a large family, combined with big group of friends that we hoped to invite. As a wedding planner, I think Ashley shines in 2 major ways. First, she can see your vision and put it together in a very complete, ORIGINAL, and sophisticated way. She won't give you some boring wedding that everyone has been to a hundred times. In fact, I was literally stunned walking into out reception site to see how Ashley had transformed it. A lot of guests also commented that it was one of the coolest weddings they had been to... (and that's a good feeling!) Secondly, the girl is majorly connected in the wedding industry. Our venue, photographer, florist, DJ, wedding cake designer, and catering people were all ones that Ashley had worked with before and let me just say that she was able to save us thousands! And...they were all wonderful! She was very organized, kept the lines of communication open, and worked her ass off the week of the wedding. I feel like I could go on and on and still not do justice to how satisfied we both were with her professionalism and style. HIGHLY recommend Buzzworthy Events! :) read more

Ashley was a lifesaver and I cannot say enough nice things about our experience. I was planning our wedding on my own on the opposite coast of friends/family and really had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. Ashley graciously guided us along through suggestions of vendors she had previously worked with, as well as how a wedding day should be scheduled. When the wedding came, she handled everything and we had nothing to worry about. She handled all the bumps effortlessly and helped organize our scattered brains. After we had some issues with the rental company, she reached out to them to get us a big refund. We couldn't have done it without her and are eternally grateful. read more

There are no words to describe how wonderful and care free my experience working with Ashley was. Even with the fact that I live in San Francisco and had our wedding in our home town of New Orleans. Her hard work let me be able to sit back and truly enjoy my experience as a bride. A true professional. She was able to blow my expectations of my dream wedding out of the water. Ashley was so kind, patient, and considerate in listening to what was important to us when it came to our wedding and what we wanted. She had so many great ideas to cover all the small details that I could have never thought of. It is the tiny details that really make it special and made it such a beautiful event. Because of her incredible style and hard work we were featured on several online sites such as Style Me Pretty, The Knot, and PopSugar. I know that with out her help our day would not have been as beautiful and organized as it was. She is AMAZING and because of her we still have people to this day tell us how beautiful it was. That was two years ago! We both love her and you will too. read more

When it came to wedding planning, my (now) husband and I had a vague idea of what we wanted and no idea of where to start or how to get there. Luckily, my sister in law had been to a wedding that Buzzworthy Events had planned and I immediately set up a meeting with Ashley. I knew right away that she was the perfect wedding planner for us because she saw me, my husband, and our wedding as individuals rather than just an other event. Ashley took the time to get to know us and truly understand what we wanted our wedding to be. She made wedding planning fun and enjoyable. She created a timeline so we always knew what we were supposed to focusing on and taking care of in the months leading up to the wedding. For the day of she put together a detailed schedule that had all of the information for the various vendors and their set up times, down to the order for the bridal party to walk down the aisle. Having her expert knowledge and insight was helpful beyond words. One of the things that I appreciate most about Ashley is that she never once lost track of our budget. She kept our expectations in line with what we could afford and provided tips along the way for how to save money. Because Ashley took the time to get to know my husband and I she was able to walk us through where our money should go in order to achieve the wedding we dreamed of. Ashley gave us our perfect wedding. She helped put everything together into one cohesive, beautifully designed event that I wish I could relive every single day. I cannot recommend Ashley and Buzzworthy Events highly enough! Almost 6 months after the wedding, my family still talks about how fantastic it was and how much they loved Ashley. read more

How many ways can I say how amazing Ashley is? Well she was the only wedding planner we interviewed and my wife and I knew instantly that Ashley was the one to make our dream wedding come true. It wasn't an easy wedding to plan. we decided to do a very custom tailored destination wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, which complicated certain things but Ashley navigated through all issues with style and grace. She has a positivity that is infectious and put us at ease even through the most stressful of times. She also has many contacts that helped us create a great team that was not only talented but fun. Her style, creativity and resourcefulness helped create a wedding that our friends and family cannot stop talking about and is even getting featured on online weddings sites. It was such a pleasure working with her that we walked away with not only with great memories but now someone that we consider a friend. You will not be disappointed! read more
