Hi, My name is Mary Smith. My husband Marcus Smith and I went to Ashley Furniture location in Morrow, Ga (Mount Zion) on March 9, 2016. We were assisted by Jemekia Roberts who was a sales rep. This young lady was absolutely AWESOME!!!! Jemekia first approached us and asked if we had been greeted by anyone?! We were impressed by that but it only got better. Jemekia was respectful, knowledgeable, responsive, patient, personable and went above and beyond what Customer Service is meant to be. We came in to look at canopy beds just for future planning to purchase and left the store with the Northshore Canopy bed and a great mattress set! She took the TIME to introduce certain sets after getting information about how we slept, concerns for any sleep habits etc. She even knew the origin of the mattress originations! We were also interested in later keeping up on the clearance section for other furniture purchases mainly a dresser. Jemekia stated she would keep us updated and she kept that word by calling us the next day to notify us about none other than a dresser that she knew we would be interested in!!! We also purchased that piece of furniture!!!! Jemekia explained every peace of paper work we had our signature on and others we did not. She assures all our questions were answered, we were never pressured and left the store with the best experience we would have had!! I have been in the Customer Service arena for over 17 years myself and I have never met nor been graced with such a Beautiful and Professional spirited representative. On Sunday March 3, 2017, my wife and I purchased a double power recliner. We were told twice that the power cord was in the recliner. We got it home and no power cord. I was waiting to buy the Coralayne coffee table and end tables on sale when I stumbled upon the coffee table and one end table in the clearance section at the store. It had some nicks where the paint was scratched off but at 1/3 of the price and the end table was just above half off this was a deal! There were only the two pieces and I was able to touch them up with some craft paint! read more

I am a stickler for great customer service; however this location was not where it was received. Upon walking in there was no simple greeting. I found myself walking around unassisted for about 3-5 minutes. Two employees were sitting at one of the showroom areas just chatting and finally acknowledged me. The employees at the entire location were very loud and unprofessional. One lady who was being assisted near me was appalled at having her financial status being discussed in front of my companion and me. She went to get the manager and discussed why the location would not be getting her business. I understood her feelings. The store employee came back and talked about the ladies action and another younger employee came over to interrupt and asked what happened. The employee told her. After looking at my companion we were also pretty over the unprofessionalism and ended up leaving and taking our business elsewhere, which is unfortunate bc I was so into all I had selected! #Bummer I would rather give the commission to someone with excellent customer service skills! So I bought myself a new bed for my first apartment. I was extremely excited to have finally found a bed that I liked. I purchased the bed and was told that my bed would be delivered a month after my move-in date. I was upset, but I just waited the month out. They told me that they would give me a time the day before the delivery. Well when I got the call they told me the timeframe was between 2-7pm....ummm what? This was upsetting as well considering that I work every day during the week so that was very inconvenient. The day of the delivery, they put the bed together, and it was the WRONG bed. I called customer service which took days, and they told me it' d be another month before the new bed would be delivered. No apology no nothing. So today is the day that the new bed is to be delivered, and it is indeed the wrong bed again. I'm honestly fed up, and will never shop with this store again. read more

Warning!!! Do not shop at this location and purchase from the scratch and dent inventory. I purchased a mattress with a hump in the middle but didn't realize it was there until I removed the plastic. I called and try to exchange but was told no. I understand scratch and dent purchases but to buy a mattress with a defect that was hidden, should be exchangeable. If I could give it a 0 on a scale of 1-10, I would. read more

My experience here was good that went way bad. I found a living room set, a dining room set and a few others things. The rep was friendly but quickly realized she had flagged down too many customers and I found myself waiting an over an hour to be helped in the end. Someone else helped me but after I paid for it, she then tells me, the main showroom items can be delivered by Ashley's, but the items from clearance could not. WOW, So now I have to find someone to pick it up for me. I found someone, he goes to the store, two days later and they tell him he can't pick it up because they stop pick ups at 6:00. First, I was not told this, Second, it's mine, I paid for it. I call and speak to the customer service rep. She gives me the spill, so I asked to speak to a manager. I Was told he was too busy to talk to me but told her to tell me "no" he would not break the "rules," my delivery guy cannot have my items. I looked on my receipt and the other paper work. Nowhere does it state this "rule" . NO apology, no call back, no nothing just "No"! I spent 2300.00 in this store and he couldn't come to the phone? I'm so upset and now have to get someone to come back tomorrow and try the same. BTW, that was 45.00. The customer service in the store sucks. The person that answer the phone was polite but she never asked me my name or number, just the name of the rep that helped me. She couldn't do anything to help, so she was useless . The other items are to be delivered by the store next week. Fingers crossed. I don't know if the other Ashley's are the same but this one, so close to home, has lost my business. I bought a sofa and love seat at this store on Saturday (11/19/16) I paid in full (no financing or credit). The store rep was ok... however I was told that I had to pay about $60 for delivery or pick up at their warehouse. Since the warehouse was close I opted for that choice. In addition the warehouse was closed on Sunday and on Monday. So today (11/22/16) I called first to let the warehouse know that I would be there at noon to pick up. They confirmed that my items were there. When we arrived at noon, there were over 50 people there! Two family shared that they had been waiting for 2 hours! In addition the customer service was horrible! The girl at the front desk was rude and told us that it was not her problem and that we all need to wait in line. We got our items at 4:11 pm!!!! I mean these are things we paid for in advance! I wish that I went on Wayfair... their delivery is free. In addition Biglots had a similar set in stock that same day. I have more furniture to buy so my lesson is DONT USE ASHLEY EVER AGAIN. read more
