I was so excited to see that they were still in business after so many locations went into bankruptcy and closed down which I was upset because I missed the big sales that they had before they closed down but AnyWho, I'm glad I was able to find this location even though it was a 45 minute drive it was well worth it. My first set of furniture came from here and now I'm a second set of furniture , I'm also looking to purchase from here as well I came when they had a special on memorial weekend which if you spend a certain amount of money you got a free rug a nice size rug at that too furniture is always well worth it and they have great options as far as payment plans and approval plans. Only thing I don't like is that they don't have delivery through the company. They do it through a third-party which after so many miles is $130 to deliver. I will stay with hurry up and look into their own delivery company and charge a decent price. read more

We purchased a refrigerator Saturday, December 4th. We were told they have same day delivery and we would be given an hour's notice for arrival. The first call I received was at 1:13pm. I asked the delivery person how far away was he from making my delivery. He said 30 minutes. I explained that we were told we'd have at least an hour's notice. He said "its 30 minutes to an hour" I explained that I am an hour away and can't make it back to that side of town in 30 minutes. He said he would go do another delivery and come back to me. He called me back at 2:13. During our conversation, we both confirmed that we - myself and the delivery team, was 30 minutes away from my residence. I reach my house and waited an hour. At an hour and 20 minutes I called to see the status of their arrival. He said "I had to switch my route around, but I'm coming, I'm on my way" TWO HOURS LATER they still hadn't arrived - NO CALL or notice of any kind. I call again, no answer. I call the store and the RUDE store manager was very non-chalant like he could care less. He claimed to be dealing with a customer and would call me back after her found out where his drivers were. I never received a call back from the manager. My fiance called and the manager was rude to him saying "just like i told your girl, it's on its way" Is that how we're talking to customers? If you don't care if people buy from your location or not - you shouldn't be in business. Having a business and running a business are two different things. The only reason we didn't cancel our order completely - even after they did a bait and switch - is because my fiance is much more patient than I am and Tia - the saleswoman who assisted us, shouldn't be denied commission because she works with a bunch of rude and unprofessional men. ALSO - why is delivery $90 and all they do is take it off the truck and place it in your kitchen. Had I known that ahead of time, we would've went to pick up the refrigerator ourselves. They didn't set up the new refrigerator or remove the old refrigerator. ALSO this "Delivery Service" is a straight up HUSTLE. They only accept cash app or cash made payable to the driver. I'm never one to knock someone's hustle, but be professional, be on time, be respectful of someone's time. AND don't expect full payment when you were FIVE HOURS LATE. They didn't show up to our house until 6:00pm. My fiance grew tired of waiting - especially since there was no communication of when they would show up and he left to try to get some of his work done. FINALLY around 6:00pm they show up, but no one was home. We didn't even expect them to come at that point since they were so rude. The driver calls to say they're at the residence. I told him, you can wait until one of us gets there or you can leave. So, they left. SUNDAY at 4:00pm, they called to tell me they were on their way. WHAT?!!? Again, no one is sitting around waiting for you to decide to do your job so no one was home. And we had plans of going to pick it up ourselves because the thought of giving them $90 after being inconvenienced and dealing with their rudeness irritated me. But, again, my fiance is more patient and forgiving than I am and he just wanted the refrigerator and to be done dealing with them. They finally arrive, I asked if they are going to hook up the new refrigerator and he said "we don't do set up" I asked if he was taking away the old refrigerator he said "That would cost you $100" I almost burst out in laughter. Sir, your service wasn't worth the $90. I'd be a fool to give you anymore money or time. At that point, I just wanted them out of my sight and house. Save yourself a headache and $90. Worst Service EVER!! I only gave it one star because it wouldn't let me selected NONE! First I ordered the sectional 3 week ago, I even put a down payment... I was told by Porsha delivery personnel would be there by 5.. please keep in mind this is the day before Thanksgiving, my daughter birthday, house full of relatives I accept the delivery, because I had wait for some while. AFTER , hours of going back and forth with delivery and the store on when it was coming because it had now, 5 (yes 5 hours) and the store giving me the drivers number. My furniture was now in the somewhat area. It is now 10 o'clock, and who arrives at my house at 11:13pm... the delivery guys!!!! They drop the two pieces... a sectional... 3 pieces ... only two pieces left and wait for their money. Never unpacked! Show me the screws, pieces , or ask me was it correct after I said that doesn't look right! No paperwork NOTHING, but their HAND OUT! And to find out it's two pieces of a couch that doesn't even have the correct pillows! One side is slanted! Hell forgot the screw on can with legs and no screws! Worst experience buying furniture. ROY is a freaking con artist and told me he would give us a discount if we left a good review on google! Well here's your good review ROY! We walked into that store with two newborn babies and told Roy we wanted a dining set so we could start eating meals as a family! Pretty important moment for two brand new parents! He literally sold us the last grey Pompeii set that was a DISPLAY. I expressed to him how worried I was about buying a display set and he reassured me it was in perfect condition AND that he would tighten all of the (loose) screws in all the chairs and table legs before delivery! He even convinced us to buy a 5 year extended warranty, and the greatest part, is that apparently we bought the very last Pompeii set in EXISTENCE because after one of our chairs broke (3 weeks after purchase, leg snapped off) we were told we couldn't have it replaced because they don't carry them anymore. 3 WEEKS LATER. And NOW Roy has told us to email our claim to another store because he can't help us, and one of the other employees even asked us not to call their store anymore!! I bought my sectional from the American Freight Furniture and Mattress Morrow location. I loved the showroom's set up here, because unlike some of the other locations, the showroom allows you to sit on a lot of the furniture to test it out. Some locations are warehouse style, so there is no room to test out the sofas, mattresses, and chairs. The same day/next day delivery option was very convenient, and I liked the 4 year protection plan option. Because I came in late on a Sunday, my sectional was delivered the next day on Monday. The lady that helped me was very attentive and patient. Everything went as planned with delivery and my sofa was in great shape (brand new in plastic) at the time of delivery. The delivery guys did a great job setting it up, and it looked even better in my home than in the store. I would highly recommend American Freight Furniture and Mattress for your sofa needs, and for your bedroom needs too. I was referred to the store by 2 friends that purchased queen bedroom sets. I recommend the protection plan too (especially if you have small kids) because you can replace the furniture with it, if anything happens over the duration of the plan. The only thing that I do not like is that they do not set up the furniture for all items. My advice would be to verify what delivery includes before purchasing the item, if you are not good with assembling stuff. For example, their dining sets come in boxes, and delivery is not free and does not include the set up. Overall, the customer service, value, and product, were all excellent. This is one of the most unprofessional stores I have EVER purchased from. Some re-training in customer service is sorely needed here but that's quite unlikely since the manager apparently could care less. The overall atmosphere is what you would expect when you shop cheap, so my bad for expecting more. By the way, the prices really AREN'T that cheap, and they have a rigid policy of avoiding price discussions over the phone. And since no one there seems to keep up with sales, please expect to have a discussion about their latest promos, and bring proof. If all of that wasn't bad enough, I also had to endure the spectacle of several employees having a lunchtime chat that was loud, laced with homophobic dialogue, and completely inappropriate in a retail workplace--ESPECIALLY with customers in earshot. First and foremost I'm going to give big ups to Von, she went out of her way to help on a few dinettes I wanted but they didn't have them. She was awesome. Now let me tell you about my purchase. I purchased the table from the floor (last one), but I needed to purchase chairs. So I purchased a brand new set In The box then the other two off the floor. They wanted to charge me the exact same price for both. After I brought it to her attention. She took $25.00 off. One of the chairs didn't have the side pieces on Them. I noticed the pieces behind the counter as I was checking out and asked if they belonged to my chairs. She said yes and will have them put on b/4 they went out for delivery. Yup they were put on but with NO SCREWS it fell off the next day. Really so you just put them on and didn't think to screw them together. Then the deliver person tried to get me to hire him as a financial advisor, that came out of nowhere. I politely declined. Sir. Just deliver my stuff. The best part is ..I found the furniture I wanted. When I entered the store, I was not greeted so I started looking around. 20 minutes later still no one even acknowledged my presence. There were maybe 4 other customers at the time. I did not see any sales people helping anyone. The 2 guys I did see had their very own private thingy going on...how unprofessional... So finally after settling on my own, I approach the counter, and dude behind the counter did help me. He walked over to get the numbers and even help pick out a matching floor rug. Hello, I'm eager to let you know if you have a warranty on your furniture from this place it means absolutely nothing here at this company.I have reached out to the company guardian whom they stated I needed to contact in regards to my warranty,after contacting guardian and submitting the photos of the damage to my furniture and when it happened and how it happened in January of this year I was hoping to have spoken to someone by now which hasn't happened so I called the store American Freight back to speak to management just to get the run arounds about the manager was with customers and every time I called he was with a customer so no one supposedly can assist me besides management and even when I explained to them how long I've been trying to get a hold of someone and what I needed the young lady asked me for my phone number and begin to look up my account and she asked me for my sales order which is on my receipt which I didn't have at the time, therefore she couldn't assist me and that was on 4/30/20 now today which is 5/1/20 a day after the day I spoke to someone and I have everything I needed just for the man named John to tell me they only deal with warranties Monday through Wednesday after that while I'm still on the phone trying to explain my situation to him he's having all types of side conversations while I'm talking to him but not only that he began yelling to someone as if I wasn't on the phone the worst customer service ever I had to give a star to make this review that's the only reason why they have a star read more

I have had my eye on a Jet Black sectional for a while so my family and I stopped by the store in Morrow Georgia to see what they offered. The sales associate was very friendly and helped me and some of my siblings order what was needed. I was told that the deliver fee was $80 and it would be delivered the next day. The sales associate verified the information with two others from the location that my delivery fee would be $80 even though there was a location closer to me that had the same sectional that I wanted. The item was supposed to be delivered on Monday. I waited all day for the driver to tell me that I was last on the list to be delivered to even though I was the furthest and they would have to reschedule. I was mad because I waited all day but I was trying not to make a big deal out of the situation. The next morning the owner of the delivery company called me and told me that I was going to have my sofa at 1pm but with a fee of 130. I was shocked, How could I be upcharged when they were a day late. I had to shift my world around to for THEM. I WAS LIVID. I told the owner that I needed to contact the store manager and see if they could waive the 50 upcharge. I was told that there was a "miscommunication" and the orginal fee was 130. Now I have all of my siblings and my mom present went making this purchase and I know for sure that the delivery price was 80. I advised the delivery person to please deliver because the general manager was very rude to me and tried to speak to me like I am a toddler.My set finally arrived at 2:30pm after going back and forth. My mom and sister came back to the store to see if they could resolve the issue and turns out that their order was missing a sofa that would take a week before it was shipped. Because of this my sister and mom canceled a 4k order because of the way they were treated by the store manager and because they didn't have the merchandise that they claimed to have..... The sad part is a wanted to spend ALOT more than my mom and sister because I am redecorating my home but this store will never see another dime from me.... read more

I liked the place. Everybody is usually pretty helpful but when you pay for over $2,000 worth of furniture and set a delivery date it should be done or at least communicated! I had to call them at 7pm to see where my furniture was only to find out they would deliver the next day. My children had to sleep on the floor and all I could get was a "sorry, they had over 200 deliveries." Not only was that not my problem but apparently the other 199 was more important than mine. VERY VERY displeased bc it's after 10:30am the next day and I haven't even gotten a phone call. It's a shame businesses do young women this way. They are no different. read more

Jason was the greatest. Everything from the customer service to his knowledge helped me make a good decision on a nice comfortable activity friendly mattress. The mattress I had originally wanted was out of stock so he discounted, per company policy, a better quality mattress. He kept me informed about the delivery and made sure I was all smiles.
