Sectional Couch with bonus missing cushion

Do not buy from Ashley furniture if your product is not there at the store. We bought a $2000 sectional and were told it would be ready for pick up in 3 weeks. Okay no problem at all. We wait and it arrives a little after 3 weeks. We pick it up and bring it home and it's missing a cushion. Call them and they tell us they will mail us a new one to replace the missing piece. Wait 3 weeks and a foam cushion insert arrives without a cover. We call Ashley and it takes talking to 3 different people for them to realize that it was 2 separate parts that needed to be ordered. They "order it" for us. Wait 3 weeks and nothing arrives. Finally my wife goes to the store and they order it there and say a tech will come install it. Another cushion foam arrives in the mail not cover. They send me a scheduling notice for the tech. We choose 2 weeks away. Still no cover, we call and they say it will be drivers tomorrow to the warehouse. We wait around on the day the tech is supposed to install and guess what no cover. Supposed to arrive in another 3-4 weeks. So here I am, I have a sectional for 2+ months with a missing cushion. And I wasted a day waiting for a technician for no reason. This company has terrible customer service and is not even capable of ordering the right parts. Save yourself the headache and buy anywhere else

I will never buy another piece of furniture from any Ashley. The salesman was helpful but ordered the wrong desk. I realized it pretty quickly and he corrected it. A few days later my desk was delivered. The delivery drivers told me the hardware was not available but they would leave the desk and order the hardware and it would be delivered to me in the mail. After a week I didn't receive it so I called customer service after 30+ minutes of the phone the CS person said she was ordering it, the call dropped. I called back 2 days later and was told my hardware was on the way. Now a month has passed I went back to the store they told me to call customer service 6 calls later in one day, because they repeatedly get disconnected I was told a technician would be contacting me I 48 hours. Of course no call. 3 calls today, now I'm told someone will contact me by Wednesday. I have repeatedly asked for supervisor. The worst customer service. Now I am stuck with a $800 desk in multiple pieces with nothing but lie after lie from Ashley.

I was looking for matching end tables and a coffee table for my living room, and since it's so hard to find matching sets I decided to come to Ashley HomeStore Outlet. Many of their items have minor cosmetic blemishes (some major and they discount accordingly). I found my coffee table and 2 end tables almost immediately and the price was right for $408 for the whole set. Barak was really helpful and gave us suggestions on matching and followed us around to check prices on the clearance items. Will be back for sure to furnish rest of the house. Side note: it helps if you have a truck, the only delivery they offer is arranged by 3rd party, but all the heavy loading you ought to be prepared to do yourself if you want to save money on delivery.

Jarrison had a FANTASTIC personality and it was hard to believe he was the new guy since he seemed to be one of the only employees in the entire store concerned about the customer experience. I hope Ashley recognizes his potential and offers him all the training/promotional opportunities available because he absolutely deserves to excel at his job - he's amazing. That being said, however, the store itself deserves literally no stars. Looks nice, but aside from Jarrison, most of the staff seemed to have an attitude and they were NOT following covid safety measures, even as mandated by local ordinance. Most staff was wearing their mask below their nose, and some weren't wearing masks at all. It seemed to be hit or miss with whether or not they were requiring customers to wear masks. The clerk at the front desk cashing me out talked to a manager negatively about another employee right in front of me, which was super unprofessional and beyond rude. Not what I want to hear as a guest when i'm trying to pay for my items. When I went back to pick up my furniture, the sales associate was not wearing a mask and actually moved signs out of the way that asked customers to wear a mask - once again breaking local ordinances. He got political saying it was a "plandemic" - like come on, we've been in this covid thing for a year now and people are literally DYING, have enough respect for your customers to wear your mask for their safety whether you believe it or not. I would absolutely purchase furniture from Ashley again for Jarrison alone because he was truly that amazing at his job and a beyond nice guy, but everybody else in the store needs a serious attitude adjustment and some education about covid safety measures.

While I was at Rooms To Go, the Conns salesman (I think it was Devin) called me to say their regional manager had approved the ottoman at a discount for me. He said I was getting the ottoman for 'basically free' because they were charging me only $50 for the ottoman. It was a LIE. They took only $50 off the ottomans price but didnt let me know. Instead they lied that it was costing only $50 and 'basically free'. If they really presented it as costing $449, they could not have used the phrase 'basically free'. They also would not tell you they would charge exorbitant 'insurance fees' if you finance with them. After the sale they said the itemizes receipt showing the total balance was not available in store and would only be sent by mail. I had to call Conns customer care for the itemized balance only to see an insurance fee of over $400 plus the supposedly 'basically free' ottoman that actually cost $449. Devin told me the delivery was free. I just discovered I was charged $199 for delivery! Conns salesman use underhanded sales tactics like they're used car salesmen. They're focused on making a sale at any cost to the customer; they're not focused on keeping a customer for life. This is my first and last purchase from Conns, the store that cons.

You wouldn't buy a car without test driving it first right?" After about 3 sofas it seemed like he was just rushing and trying to get me to buy anything! I then pulled up a photo of a sofa I saw on their website but they didn't have it in-stock. He turns around and gets someone else who said it'll be here in a few days and "coincidently" they only ordered "one" and insisted I need to go ahead and put it on hold if I really wanted it... Didn't your colleague JUST say "You wouldn't buy a car without test driving it first right?" They pressured me to buy to the point where I began to feel uncomfortable. It was pretty sad! They bragged and boasted about how they can beat any furniture company and their prices are the lowest, which is debatable, but came off too strong for me. After 3 more times of asking "are you sure you don't just want to buy this one today", "there's no telling when we will have it again this one sells fast", "the price could go up $100 if you try to come back and buy it" and a million other bs sales lines... I told them thank you and jetted out of there. I went to another furniture store across town and had a much more pleasant experience. I told them I was browsing and they respected that. I was able to walk around and look at my own pace. They also had some of the same brands at a lower price as well. Try to actually listen to your potential customers and don't be so pushy.

Zoe came back around, I explained my needs and was happy they were flexible on the pricing of a floor model leather sofa. The deal was done within minutes and delivery arranged four days later. The only issue was that I didn't receive a call the night before to communicate a window of time for delivery. I sent a text and received a quick response apologizing for the lack of communication. The truck driver called and delivery followed up quickly. I am pleased the purchase and would recommend NashCo.

For a couch, you have a 1-year warranty, and you may optionally purchase a 5-year comprehensive plan. For us, the 5-year warranty price was about 10% of the couch price. Many of their staff members are bilingual. I worked with Irma who took the time to talk through several sectional options, including their online catalog. She didn't apply any pressure to make a decision. The team dynamics appear to be excellent as team members were checking on each other and had brought in food to the break room. Parking is easy in the front of the strip mall.

Goodwill being one of the worst I've seen (they pre pick and filter through donations and sell the best online so you're left with sloppy seconds in the store, this goes for any Goodwill). Also, I'm not a vintage shopping kind of gal, which seems to be most popular around here. It's just not the kind of apparel I wear on the regular, but if I were to shop vintage I rather score a find for a fraction of the price at a thrift store. Ok enough about my particularities, but given all that, when I walked into Southern Thrift, I knew that THIS was my place. First, the selection is huge, it's not some small boutique thrift store. Secondly, everything is nicely organized by size and apparel type, and on a Saturday the store was pretty neat, well kept, and not crowded to my surprise. They price every item individually, rather than a flat rate for all shirts, or all pants which you normally see. I bought a super casual t-shirt for $1.99 and something a little fancier for $5.99. Makes sense, as there are variations in brands, quality, and style that should be taken into account when pricing. I'm anxious to check out their other two locations (2710 Old Lebanon Rd & 5010 Charlotte Pike) in Nashville. Between all of the locations, this should take care of my thrifting binges!
