Lamont greeted us cheerfully as we entered the store and asked a few questions about how we slept, etc. Afterwards he guided us to a few mattresses to test out and even some pillows which he provided a cover for our heads. Lamont shared information about the Labor Day sales, which helped us find a match within our budget. He helped us with the checkout process and made sure everything was correct for delivery. I highly recommend purchasing a mattress from Mattress Firm. Delivery-original time was set at 10a-12p. The delivery guys came at 9:32a! Very punctual and quick removal of old mattress and setup of new base & mattress.

Kind of embarrassing to wait 2 years before writing a review for excellent service. Even worse that…read moreits the excellent service experience that got me back to writing Yelp reviews as we excited covid. Back in late 2021 we finally settled on a new house. We were all exiting covid and our stuff had been in storage. We had moved back to Raleigh from out of town only to hit Covid. So our stuff had been in storage for several years. We moved in right before the holidays. As part of that we had to also get the new house ready for holiday guests. Yes it was stressful. Even worse, we found that our hand made cherry bed had been partially destroyed by the previous movers. Lucky enough a friend of a friend could recommend an outstanding wood craftsman. He came quickly and repaired the frame. That left the next issue, the mattresses had not done well in storage and needed to be replaced. And I don't need to remind you how much businesses and all of use were struggling to get back in a rhythm. So with maybe a week or a week and a half to go, i went in search of a mattress. Turns out it was an unusual size. I can't recall now. Thats what happens when you wait to long. But for YEARS while we had been in Raleigh before we left town in 2012, Original Mattress Factory had been our place for mattresses. What we all liked among other things, is that they are made here, in the store. So I messaged the corporate portal. Again, remember how much businesses were struggling to get back on their feet then. Wish i could find the email. I got an IMMEDIATE response from some executive. CEO? Can't recall. Clearly there not staffed at HQ yet. he had understood my need and called the sales rep at this store who was ready to have me come in. it had been, like, minutes. RESPECT. i raced over there and the sales rep, wish i could remember his name, was Johnny on the spot. he showed me my choices, said my unusual size was not on the floor, but they made them there and would whip it out for me. They could deliver next week! I almost propsed marriage right there. And sure enough on the day, the two guys showed up very professionally. they delivered, they even moved the old mattresses for me downstairs. The next day my long awaited nephew showed up none the wiser. What a fabulous experience. Each year since we have had holiday guests in that bed. The whole experience was an outstanding value. Attitude of good service starts at the top!

Greg, the manager, is very knowledgeable and patient, and explained the features of the various models without pushing at all. He did suggest trying out a number of types just so I would become familiar with how they all felt. I am also impressed by the warranty and continued support that comes with my purchase. Everything arrived when they said it would and the delivery team was friendly and got everything done quickly and efficiently. The mattress itself has made a big difference in my sleep quality. I would highly recommend OMF and the Glenwood Ave location.

Andy was so wonderful and knowledgeable. He helped up pic a great mattress and was able to give an amazing deal with a free memory foam pillow. 11 our of 10 stars! Highly recommend! Longer Version: Unlike with electronics and most other things, you can never seem to find real usable objective stats/descriptions of mattresses online. And virtually all mattress reviews seem to be contradictory and are often flat out fake. Even the reddit page dedicated to buying a mattress, which should be a treasure trove of clear cut tips on cutting through the bull and buying a mattress is little more than a trauma ward of people commiserating about how impossible it is to shop online for a mattress. But Durham Wholesale Mattress & Furniture changes all of that. As soon as we walked in the door, Andy swooped right in to help us find the perfect mattress. We ended up trying out a dozen mattresses and we felt totally safe COVID-19 wise the whole time. Andy was BEYOND patient and extremely knowledgeable about everything. And he was able to expertly incorporate all of our specific sleep needs (side sleeping, wrestles sleepers, back pain, etc.) into a mattress selection. Lastly, he was able to work with us based on our budget to get us a truly epic deal (I am honestly not sure how they kept from loosing money on this deal). But more than anything, you can tell that this store is based on a genuine desire to help people find the best possible mattress for them. And Andy is just a genuinely great guy. He was an absolute pleasure to shop with. This is the kind of store that you just want to succeed, and that you always want to shop in. If you need a mattress and you live in the area, do yourself a favor and shop here!

My wife and I purchased a queen sized Savvy Rest mattress from Billy several years ago after conducting extensive research on latex mattresses in an attempt alleviate some recurring back pain I was experiencing (likely caused by our aging traditional spring mattress). Billy worked around our schedule to meet at his showroom and helped us evaluate all of the various options. He even recommended specific pillows based on our sleeping positions. Billy again worked with our schedule to deliver and install the mattress. After a few nights of sleeping on the mattress my back pain disappeared and has not returned. Four plus years and counting! Ordinarily that is where might end but we recently initiated a move to a new house. I remembered a long ago conversation in which Billy had offered to supply the boxes and bags for moving the mattress to a new location. True to his word Billy happily provided the boxes and bags and even coordinated to leave them for me to pick up. All in all excellent service from Billy and I would highly recommend Green Dream Beds and Savvy Rest for anyone considering a natural latex Mattress.

I get there and no one is there. We call and a very friendly man answers and let's us in with the push of a few buttons on a lock, like we are arriving to an AirBnB. But we are mattress shopping...with our phones on. And the salesman/owner is taking us through the showroom. But he is not there. He could be anywhere. But his attention to us is focused on our understanding and knowledge of his merchandise. he is approaching this very methodically. I'm still a bit freaked out by the concept of walking around with zero in person guidance. I do not know why. Maybe it would be better to have a two way visual experience like facetime. Once I get over that strangeness...it is pretty cool to have an experience similar to what a celebrity might experience. You are the only one in the store, it is your domain to explore with no one else to compete with. Take your time, listen, just follow the guidance of the salesperson / owner while he explains the features and merits of each mattress from composition of materials to the concept of layering.

We had hope to have a couch for Thanksgiving and definitely need one for X-Mas as we are hosting family. Seeing as Joybird completely messed it up, we cancelled it and after a lot of research we decided to visit a Lovesac Store. We went to the Crabtree Mall store and were welcomed by Sydney, who was extremely helpful and gave us a ton of information. I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, but we literally changed everything. Sydney was also very patient in dealing with my fiancé's and I bickering over what cover color, type of cushion, and number of seats we wanted. The manager (sorry I forgot her name) was also there and was also very helpful in giving us a ton of insights on color and info related to how pets would react to the couch. We left the store very satisfied with the service, but still a little skeptical of their claim to have it delivered within 1-4 weeks (this was the Monday before Thanksgiving).
