Todd is amazing with them - all we have to do is tell them they're going to see Todd and they immediately begin to bark, run to the truck, jump in and out and do the same sorts of things when we arrive. It's a bit of a drive for us but well worth it when we pick them up and they're still happy boys. We tried a couple of other kennels with our first two German Shepherds but they just didn't quite measure up - unless Todd closes down (please NO!), he'll continue seeing the Kole dogs on a regular basis. Thank you, Todd, for such an awesome safe place for all the fur babies you've kept over the years! L. Kole

Why We Keep Coming Back: * They stay in Pawville's "townhomes," which are super spacious and include both indoor and outdoor areas--perfect for comfort and play. * We genuinely look forward to the daily photos and email updates the staff sends. It means so much when we're traveling, especially during longer trips--it gives us peace of mind and keeps us connected to our pups. * The facility is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. We were able to tour it before our first booking and felt totally comfortable leaving Ned and Bonita in their care. * Bonus: they offer a multi-pet discount, which is great when you're boarding more than one dog. It's clear the team at Pawville truly cares. We're so thankful to have found a place that treats our dogs like family!

We were told the latest pickup was until 7:00 pm, and we arrived right at 7:00 after communicating our timing. The facility was already closed, and staff refused to release our pets, saying it was "7:01." That level of rigidity was disappointing, especially since we had communicated ahead of time. It also resulted in an extra day of boarding. To make matters worse, two collars were missing at pickup and we had to return again to retrieve them. Unfortunately, not a customer-friendly experience

    Walton Gwinnett Animal Clinic

This is a review of extreme gratitude and relief. I found Walton Gwinnett Animal Hospital after…read moremonths of taking my beloved dog to our regular veterinary clinic (Grayson Veterinary Hospital) who over the course of (6) months prescribed our dog three different antibiotics (one two different times) so she was on four different rounds of antibiotics. After round one of antibiotics was unsuccessful, they did a culture test meant to identify (pinpoint) the type of bacteria so they can prescribe the correct antibiotic medicine. Yet, they continued to prescribe our dog three different antibiotics, with all being unsuccessful. They were doing medication trial-and-error experimenting with our dog, when they should have known what medicine to use based on the results of the culture. Curious, we called the clinic and asked what kind of bacteria the culture test results said our dog had, the receptionist informed us the chart said the culture came back 'negative'. We asked for clarification, she said 'negative' means there was no bacteria found, so her lesion on her chest was not caused by bacteria. So, they were prescribing our dog multiple rounds of antibiotics for bacteria that she DID NOT have, while never identifying the source (cause) of the lesion, that was now getting worse due to their misdiagnosis and negligence. Not to mention, we were spending money on multiple unnecessary office visits and medication. We then decided to seek a different veterinarian to get a proper diagnosis and the appropriate treatment for our dog, enter in Walton Gwinnett Animal Hospital. I selected them based on their reviews which were exceptional (4.6 based on 476 reviews). First conversation with receptionist via phone, I explained the nature of our visit, and she took our previous vet's information and requested our dog's medical records for their doctor's to be fully informed on previous medical history prior to our visit (mind blown - no vet has ever done this). They literally treat your pet like a child. We were able to schedule our initial appointment the same day, and their facility was immaculate, smells fresh, and front office staff is warm and welcoming. The tech first takes your dog in the back office for weighing, initial assessment with the doctor, while you wait in your assigned visiting room, where the doctor will come in to then speak to you. Our doctor was Dr. Osborn, who was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. She spoke to use while reviewing our dog's medical records via the in-office computer (very tech savvy clinic) and identified another 'lump' on our dog that we didn't notice. She also noticed our dog's medical records did not have history of a cytology test (test to detect cancer and/or precancerous cells) so she suggested we do that test immediately and she also did an initial in-office aspiration of the lesion (collecting of fluids) and performed a preliminary microscope examination. She called later that day stating the preliminary results show abnormal cell structure, so she was concerned, but wanted to wait on the external lab results from the formal cytology biopsy. The next day, she confirmed that our dog had cancer and would needed surgery. We were then scheduled for an ultrasound with Dr. Chan. Dr. Chan was warm, professional, and very communicative ensuring we understood his concerns and what he wanted to accomplish with the ultrasound, which was to ensure the cancer was isolated and had not spread to any other parts of the body (specifically her major organs). He called us later in the day, stating the ultrasound showed the cancer was isolated to the area of the lesion, which made our dog an ideal candidate for surgery, which we scheduled immediately for the next week. Dr. Chan was able to suggest another agency (SurgiPet) for our family to contact for potential grants to offset the surgery cost. While SuriPet was unable to provide a grant, they referred us to other agencies (on their website) that potentially could offer a grant, which we contacted several. The Bev Lambert Wonderdog Fund/ RACE4Ran was able to approve our grant application in one day, gifting our family with a grant to cover up to $1000.00 of the $1137.00 surgery estimate. The BLWF/RACE agency worked directly with Walton Gwinnett Animal Hospital the day of surgery and paid the final surgery invoice ($989) at the completion of surgery. Our dog had six surgery incisions (the cancer lesion/several fatty lumps) removed and is now one and a half weeks in post-op recovery. Dr. Chan did an excellent job performing her surgery, her body is healing fast and we are so beyond blessed to have found this clinic and these exceptional doctors. They are compassionate, genuinely invested, exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable, great bedside manner, and overall great people. They saved our dog's life. We are overflowing with appreciation and can't thank them enough. Thank you Walton Gwinnett Animal Hospital!
