The Tech was also great. She explained the laser process in great detail. After I was comfortable with how the procedure works she decided that it would be best if she did a test area. It wasn't nearly as painful as I thought. I'm definitely returning next week for my second appointment! Can't wait to get this tattoo completely removed. Absolutely horrible!! My first consultation I was left waiting for an extremely long time. Dr…read more Harris was not the friendliest but I tried to overlook that (my time is as valuable as theirs but that is completely ignored). Then he sent me to do another test which everything he told me was incorrect from how long it would take to the details of the procedure. Also, the cost was not disclosed and I started receiving invoices and was never provided billing quotes or estimates. I went through with the bulkamid procedure however again they would never provide me with an exact estimate and would only provide the information over the phone. I could never get anything in writing about the charges. I had to pay for all of the charges for Dr. Harris before the procedure and was told the only other charge would be the anesthesiologist. I received three telehealth phone calls which none of them were very long. Then I started receiving phone calls and various statements saying I owed for charges over $650 for the facility. Months after, I received statements showing charges for the telehealth visits which one was twice as much as the first because the nurse practitioner was not in my network (which was NEVER disclosed during the call). I paid for all of the charges except I'm still paying for the facility. I called the billing department and paid for the final telehealth visits July 2024. Now October 2024 I am receiving another statement for one of the telehealth calls (the non-network call). I called billing and told them I paid for all of these in July and the billing person said that I did not owe for anything else. This billing person told me I did not pay and when I ask for a complete copy of all of my charges, she only sent outline of charges for the three telehealth calls. I called the Flowood office and the only answer I received was you need to speak with billing. Again I asked for a complete copy of all of my records and everything they billed me for and the answer I got was: I don't know that we can do that because it was two different billing carriers. So if they can't tell me what they billed me then how do they know I did not pay? They were all very rude and it is beyond me how the patient is just supposed to keep paying without real documentation. I will NEVER go back to this place and do not recommend them. The same billing issues are happening with my daughter. They are not applying money she paid.

She is the only person who has changed the dermaplane blade 2-3 times during my session--I'm Indian, I have a lot of hair, and so, it's expected that the blade would need to be changed and she is the ONLY PERSON in the Jackson area who delivers such extensive and precise service. Unfortunately, I had a lot of issues go on at the airport and was unable to get my rental vehicle that I paid for. The purpose of my trip was my son was getting elbow surgery. I'll start off by saying that Dr. McCraney was incredible and I was very happy with the staff team. But being in Flowood, Mississippi was not easy without a vehicle and following my son's surgery. I needed to get to a pharmacy to get my son's post surgery prescriptions filled. After his surgery every Uber and taxi company I contacted was either more than a 30 minute wait or $70 because they were out of the area. The reason for my lengthy message is I want to acknowledge two nurses, Beth and Carrie. When I think of southern hospitality, I will always think of these two incredible individuals. Even after a long day at work after my Sons surgery, and aware of our situation, they drove my son and I to two different pharmacies. Beth even came into the pharmacy with me to help me out with the prescription while Carrie tended to my son who was still coming off of anaesthetic. Once our prescription was filled, these ladies dropped my son and I off to our hotel. No reward, no money, just plain kindness to my son, and I who would have been stuck paying and waiting for transportation. I wish there was more we could do to repay Beth and Carrie for their kindness. But I at least wanted to take the time to write a review about the kindness I experienced at capital ortho. And certainly a reminder that humanity still has hope. I'll always remember the date when two nurses drove all around Flowood, Mississippi for two Canadians stuck in the middle of nowhere. Of all the surgeries I've ever had, the hip replacement surgery was the best. it's hard to imagine that you can get the biggest joint in your body replaced and be up walking around afterwards. The first 2-3 weeks was the only downside, if you can call it that, it's more about impatience to get back driving etc. I'd let him operate on me any day of the week. Highly recommend.
