Dr…read more Harris was not the friendliest but I tried to overlook that (my time is as valuable as theirs but that is completely ignored). Then he sent me to do another test which everything he told me was incorrect from how long it would take to the details of the procedure. Also, the cost was not disclosed and I started receiving invoices and was never provided billing quotes or estimates. I went through with the bulkamid procedure however again they would never provide me with an exact estimate and would only provide the information over the phone. I could never get anything in writing about the charges. I had to pay for all of the charges for Dr. Harris before the procedure and was told the only other charge would be the anesthesiologist. I received three telehealth phone calls which none of them were very long. Then I started receiving phone calls and various statements saying I owed for charges over $650 for the facility. Months after, I received statements showing charges for the telehealth visits which one was twice as much as the first because the nurse practitioner was not in my network (which was NEVER disclosed during the call). I paid for all of the charges except I'm still paying for the facility. I called the billing department and paid for the final telehealth visits July 2024. Now October 2024 I am receiving another statement for one of the telehealth calls (the non-network call). I called billing and told them I paid for all of these in July and the billing person said that I did not owe for anything else. This billing person told me I did not pay and when I ask for a complete copy of all of my charges, she only sent outline of charges for the three telehealth calls. I called the Flowood office and the only answer I received was you need to speak with billing. Again I asked for a complete copy of all of my records and everything they billed me for and the answer I got was: I don't know that we can do that because it was two different billing carriers. So if they can't tell me what they billed me then how do they know I did not pay? They were all very rude and it is beyond me how the patient is just supposed to keep paying without real documentation. I will NEVER go back to this place and do not recommend them. The same billing issues are happening with my daughter. They are not applying money she paid.

The Dr. Ory I know is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable in her field. Her assessment and surgical skills are very good, and she is easy to talk to about personal medical issues. I have been an RN for more than 35 years, and she is one of the best physicians I have had the pleasure of interactions with. The office is well run, with a clinic staff who are also very professional. Many of the RNs I work with see physicians at The Women's Clinic; I highly recommend the clinic and Dr. Ory in particular.

Of all the surgeries I've ever had, the hip replacement surgery was the best. it's hard to imagine that you can get the biggest joint in your body replaced and be up walking around afterwards. The first 2-3 weeks was the only downside, if you can call it that, it's more about impatience to get back driving etc. I'd let him operate on me any day of the week. Highly recommend.

- Everyone has their own personality and bedside manner preference. We had several very poor…read moreexperiences and visiting this clinic was a huge waste of time and money. Take my experience for what it's worth and decide what you're looking for in a an REI. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT recommend him to any of my family and friends after my experience. As a healthcare provider, I questioned so many of the decision he made and the validity of the information he provided. - During your initial visit, Dr. Parry makes an effort to be conversational and get to know you (it's basically a well-rehearsed used car sales pitch). I definitely did NOT feel like a priority on subsequent visits though and when I had a follow up after a miscarriage he simply repeated the same "one liner" statistical facts he told us at the first appointment. - DR. PARRY DOES NOT USE A PATIENT PORTAL. This is a HUGE pain. You can't see any of your records, labs or imaging on a portal. They force you to pay $25 EACH TIME you request any sort of record, which is absurd. HIPAA requires access to your personal medical information and this can be cost prohibitive to couples already paying ridiculous amounts for fertility treatments. - If you're looking for a holistic fertility specialist who will work to develop a better understanding of possible underlying hormonal conditions (e.g. PCOS), this likely is NOT the clinic for you. We were successful after leaving the practice and seeking care out of state. - Dr. Parry loves data and tries to use this to impress patients and establish credibility. If you/your partner don't have a statistics or medical background this will be overwhelming. The problem is that he manipulates statistics without considering your unique medical history and lab results. He also ignores evidence based reproductive medicine protocols and research that he does not personally agree with - e.g. he does not believe that progesterone deficiency can contribute to pregnancy loss (contradictory to research and other REI specialists) and will not provide luteal phase progesterone supplementation for medicated cycles which is a common protocol used at fertility clinics. - I had to argue with him to insist on trying a minimally invasive treatment approach I wanted to try. He insisted that it was a waste to use the trigger shot without IUI, which contradicts approaches that many other fertility clinics use. I had to fight for our goals and preferences every step of the way with Dr. Parry and it was exhausting. All of this took a HUGE mental and emotional toll on my partner and myself. The lack of respect for our goals, that we clearly vocalized, was disgusting. - Dr. Parry likes to market his "patented" hysteroscopy technique used as an alternative to an HSG to evaluate for uterine or tubal abnormalities. There is nothing special about this procedure - it is really just a Femvue Sono HSG and it's a standard procedure done by many REI's around the country (More info here FemVue: Fallopian Tube http://www.femvue.com). Not only did this procedure cost $1000, but he falsely suggested I had a tubal blockage which was later found to be incorrect by a follow up HSG and ultrasound with a different RE. The Parryscope was a waste of money, and we spent MONTHS thinking I had a potential tubal blockage which altered our treatment approach. - Dr. Parry uses a cookie-cutter approach to evaluation and ovulation induction medication dosages. He will not review any detailed home cycle tracking (e.g. urine hormone testing, average ovulation day) except average period lengths. He continued to use the TTC month count to say our chances of conceiving were lower and to pressure us into IUI with scripted claims about diminishing statistical chances of success. We felt extremely gaslit and turned off by this - especially now that subsequent REI's have disputed these claims. We were very explicit about wanting to continue with medicated cycles with timed intercourse due to spiritual beliefs and fertility goals. We also discussed wanting to pursue further labs to rule out any underlying causes for abnormal cycles and no further testing was done. - Dr. Parry placed me on high dose medications that caused cysts to develop and delay subsequent interventions. Other RE's we visited after Dr. Parry were shocked that he placed me on such a high dose of ovulation inducing medication. This is extremely concerning to me since he never warned me about potential risks of increasing the dose that high.
