While you are sitting in the dental chair, the Business Manager brings a estimated cost of dental procedures to choose from. When I asked about why some of the procedures were not covered, she was rude and said "because I met my cap for insurance." This was fine but I felt pressured to pay for the upcoming procedure in full BEFORE they would schedule it. When I needed to cancel I called and the front desk staff explained that I was within my window to cancel and the Business Manager would refund my initial cost. She did not. After multiple calls, I was finally refunded. I would NOT recommend this Dental office.

On multiple occasions they been so flexible and have worked to squeeze me in. My last visit with them was a few months ago, and I wanted to get some deep cleaning done before my brother's wedding. They worked around my schedule on short notice to find what would work for me, which I was honestly amazed by. Both front desk people are awesome, Dr. Sokransky is very informative and exceptionally skilled - what I appreciate the most is that he doesnt try to sell you any procedure that you dont need. He actually cares, and practices with great integrity. Never had any uncomfortable or painful experience when VS Dental handled my teeth. I dont remember this being the case for any other dentists Ive been to, I usually experienced some level of discomfort with teeth work in the past.

He's the kindest, funniest, and most skillful dentist! And did I mention he is the most honest dentist! He will never try to sell you something that is not in your best interest. I asked him for more work and he could have easily said yes (and did it like my previous dentists did) but he suggested I don't do as the cosmetic work I inquired about would ultimately be harmful and require more costly repairs/upkeep down the road. He said my teeth are healthy and fine so why mess that up! I've been to dentists that jumped at doing these types of cosmetic procedures (usually their suggestion) since they break down over time but never did they mention that it damages your teeth in the process. Dr. Sokransky is the best- he really cares about you and puts the patient first over profits!

It took MONTHS to not have pain daily after repeat adjustments and multiple temp crowns. I had a break so likely the trauma caused would have resulted in a root canal but I don't feel like they were conservative in their approach with me and my tooth was filed down to nearly nothing. Another dentist mentioned this could have caused the delayed healing and extended need for time to reduce inflammation. I have days even still that the tooth does not feel right. It's been about a year. That isn't a good feeling with having spent thousands on ONE tooth. This was my first crown and I have good teeth and hope to never have to be back in anyone's office for another but I have thankfully found a good dentist that I don't have to question.

Then (even though I had an appointment with Dr Chang) I was switched to an Indian Dr, who had substandard equipment in the same office. (Never in my many decades of seeing dentists has this been a protocol) She said it was to inspect my gums. That was my first and last appointment with her and Waterview dentistry .
