The service was quick, they bring the food to your table. Overall, all of us enjoyed our brunch here.

It is on the smaller side, so seating is limited, but depending on the time of year, they do have outdoor seating as well. I got the Classic Breaky sandwich, which was a toasted cheese bagel with cheddar cheese, egg, thick-cut bacon, and their house-made aioli. I also got a pumpkin spice latte, and both were amazing! The latte was definitely the highlight for me. They make their own syrups in-house, which they add to their lattes, and you can really taste the difference. The pumpkin spice latte was a 10/10. If you're in the area, skip the Starbucks for sure! The breakfast sandwich was also really good, especially with the thick-cut bacon and house-made aioli. I paid around $20 for both, so it is a little pricey in my opinion, but I can appreciate the price more when the quality and taste are there. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Some friends got the features drink, apple cider ginger beer (non-alcoholic) and they raved about it. Even went back to get one for the drive home lol, so something to try! Overall, everything I had was a 10/10 for taste, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu, especially that apple cider ginger beer!

Soups, good quality bread for luscious looking sandwiches, spanakopitas, no shortage of sweet yeast breads and scones. The soya latte with a sample of biscotti on the side just hit the spot. Olde worlde style building, furnishings and quiet patrons, respectful of noise levels. My kinda place.

But before I…read morestopped there, I was thrilled to find Garafraxa, a cute little independent place that seems to have coffee shop/bistro/entertainment venue all wrapped into one. I stopped in for a tea, and was pleased to be offered a loose-leaf cream earl grey. The cranberry and pistachio biscotti was very fresh and a perfect pair for the tea... So yummy. I should note, I never ask for soy milk in small towns (was laughed at one too many times in the past), but a gentleman that came in after me (looked even more "out of town" than I did ;) asked for it... And the women serving, proudly announced she did have soy milk. Impressive. Wish I had some friends up here (hehe) - this place seems like a perfect Saturday night venue to grab a glass of wine and listen to live music :)

I was also happy to see cafe tables and chairs outside. It was a hot day and I needed a place to sit with my dog. Stepped inside and again was impressed with the look of the place, especially the stage. At the back of the room was a stage, stage lighting and a large screen. I didn't realize Garafraxa's is also a music venue. Looks like an excellent spot for musicians to pump up their performance. The espresso prices were Starbucks expensive, but my latte was quite large. The spinach pastry I ordered is the mass-produced pastries I've seen and eaten in other shops around Ontario. I would have preferred a little something savoury that was locally made.

That being said, I am now completely convinced that McDonald's in general is an absolute waste of my money, and as a useless "luxury", will be avoided from now on. Why? Well, I simply cannot justify paying $15 for $1-$2 worth of food. 6 pressed chicken product pieces, a couple dozen sticks of cardboard-like processed potato, and sugar water with nothing but a rolled up bit of not yet soggy paper to drink it with, is not enticing for that price. The only reason I gave two stars was this: they got a star for helping me choose not to eat their products and thereby most likely living healthier. So, thanks and good luck.

Enjoyed a delicious muffin and some peppermint tea while resting my feet after a long hike. They offer sandwiches and soups and lots of treats. I was considering a sandwich with soup but they didn't seem to have a combo and i couldn't find the price of the soup so I just got a muffin. I would recommend and I would return tho.
