And if you spend £25 or more, you can get home delivery, which from this store is quite good, as you can't park your car directly outside, the car park is a good few minutes away. This also means if you don't get it delivered, you have to take the trolley to the car park and then bring the trolley back to get your £1 coin back, so the free delivery is great. Using your bonus card (you need to use this for free delivery too) you can get money off vouchers and it also enters you into competitions (not that I've ever won anything!)

However as this place is so huge you'll probably still find what you are looking for. Since I've lived in Oxford I've come here about a dozen or so times. We tend to try and stick to mid evening as the crowds die down a bit and they are not quite into their horrible restocking mode. Generally you can find fresh products and a wide selection of near everything (do not come to this Tescos if you are looking for home goods/ electronics/ etc). The prices as it is Tescos are decent. The staff are generally friendly as long as you're not getting the end of shift crowd. PROS: Large selection Good quantity of stock Price CONS: Gets ultra busy Leftover stock can be of bad quality Other side of the ring road.

It's got a huge range of items, although no adult clothing (other than underwear) or much in the way of electronics/media/toys, unlike even bigger stores. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. Staff are friendly and helpful, and offers on food are good value.

It's not a huge store, but helpfully it's open 24 hours a day, although you do have to fight your way round the shelf stackers at night. Generally it's pretty well stocked, apart from the odd days around the major holidays where you can find the shelves dreadfully empty. There's a pharmacy, which I've never used, a Tesco Direct counter which works just as it should. The photo shop is always having their machine break down but when it's running the service is actually very good. A word of warning, there's a café tucked away upstairs at the far right of the shop, very easy to miss. I would definitely give it a miss, the breakfast is truly disgusting, and the coffee machine seems to be out of order whenever I go there. It's clean and tidy though.

Always clean and always busy but plenty of staff so no long wait at the check-out. Interesting architecture, a previous review suggested that it used to be a railway station - Nope! It was the Kayser Bondor until the 1980's when it was bought by Tesco. Kayser Bondor made ladies stockings - but switched to making parachutes during World War II. We spent close to three hours in this Tesco. Luckily I was slightly buzzed from just leaving the pub so I didn't mind. They had quite a number of goods on clearance, pretty much it's a wild card. The sale section is towards the back where the toys and workout supplements are located. A lot of school supplies on sale. I was impressed at their music selection and that I could buy a three disc Ministry of Sound dance CD for £6. They have quite a large school supply section. Pretty much this Tesco carries just about everything. The prices I noticed were £0.30-£1.00 higher then my normal Tesco Store so I was shy about grocery shopping. I guess the bigger the store, they figured lets raise the price too. That is one thing I really didn't like were the higher prices. The bathrooms on the other hand stink to high heaven. I could smell them by Costa. If I were you Tesco I would invest in air freshener. You sell it, why can't you use it? Pretty much I rate this three hour shopping experience a solid three. Just a tip if you get your car washed while you shop take your valuables and your lighters with you. I do find the queues are higher in here than in other supermarkets, but the stafff are always really nice and cheerful. I'd missed the sign of course, so I tootled round and about, and saw a chap in a reflector jacket, I asked him the way. He made sense, was insructive and clear, until I got to the corner he told me about. Hmmm, what's the worst that could happen? I kept going and finally actually saw a sign, just as I clocked the petrol station. The staff were very friendly indeed, and amused at the quantity of chocolate I bought.
