They can be more expensive than the cheaper supermarkets, but all their food is really nice and made with good, proper ingredients. Their bakery section is also really nice and you'll find it hard to leave without a cake. If you're looking for lunch on the go, they do sandwiches and a salad bar. There is parking for two hours in the multi storey behind it and there is always parking here, plus you might have a bit of time to nip to the city if you need anything else! A nice central supermarket.

It is much smaller compared to Tesco's but it still has everything you need. There is less hustle and bustle, the queues aren't super long. I really like the atmosphere of this store; they sell good quality meat and very nice cakes, which I am always tempted to buy as a treat. Their online shopping is of a high standard when they arrive they have boxes one contains frozen food the other chilled ect they come into your home and practically pack everything away for you. If you get any items substituted on your shopping list you get a better version of what you ordered and your money back from the item you originally ordered. There is plenty of parking outside this store and it is free for 2 hours, so plenty of time to see what Waitrose has to offer.

Pretty good experience. (AIE)…read more Large store with a ton of stock and variety. Clothing, home goods, and the main part, grocery. I'm wearing a night shirt I picked up. Almost bought some dishes. Looked at every food isle. Purchased some nuts, protein drinks, and fruit. I'd put this at a higher than average quality grocer. Sushi station was just getting started, so I missed that. Lunch special items are all the way on the back wall. Not sure how to sign up for their frequent shopper program. If I was interested, large, manned customer service center at the front. Sells tobacco and lottery as well. There is a parking area attached to the building. Used self check out without any issues. Just an average store. (American in England)

Now seeing as this is an amped up Wal-Mart, you can safely assume they have anything and everything here. I bought many groceries here, but they also had clothes, adapters for my tourist self, makeup and personal care items, liquor, magazines & books, tons of electronics and related items, home goods items, baby items, gifts & the cards to go with them, and toys. Plus I saw offers of cell phones & plans at checkout, seems they also have check cashing and other currency services. I personally used their ATM located just outside the doors millions of times to get some dinero. I found all the prices to be reasonable and workers were always quite friendly to me. They have a nice self checkout! Definitely my go to shopping spot while in Milton Keynes and I know I'll have many more visits when I return later this year. However as this place is so huge you'll probably still find what you are looking for. Since I've lived in Oxford I've come here about a dozen or so times. We tend to try and stick to mid evening as the crowds die down a bit and they are not quite into their horrible restocking mode. Generally you can find fresh products and a wide selection of near everything (do not come to this Tescos if you are looking for home goods/ electronics/ etc). The prices as it is Tescos are decent. The staff are generally friendly as long as you're not getting the end of shift crowd. PROS: Large selection Good quantity of stock Price CONS: Gets ultra busy Leftover stock can be of bad quality Other side of the ring road.

It's got a huge range of items, although no adult clothing (other than underwear) or much in the way of electronics/media/toys, unlike even bigger stores. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. Staff are friendly and helpful, and offers on food are good value.
