The baby and childrens clothing I find particularly good, very cheap but also well made.

This was the local Tesco when we lived in Bletchley, and I wish it still was here in Luton…read more It's quite a large store, with clothing and other stuff upstairs. They have a large selection of international and basic food stuffs, the store is always clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and their produce is fresh. My favourite thing about the store, however, was their sale food. I've never seen such a regularly good selection in one place. If you live nearby I highly suggest coming at around 6 or 7 pm and looking in the meat cases. The butchers puts a lot of meat in there, and if you're willing to hunt through it a bit you can find some real steals. The veg and fruit had a bit less selection, but I could generally get a fair amount there as well.

This Tesco store is fairly large, although there is a bigger one elsewhere in Milton Keynes. It has…read morepretty much everything you need including groceries, clothing, electrical and DIY. There's also a café, pharmacy and optician as well as a photo processing unit. It also boasts the Direct catalogue, so anything that isn't in store can be ordered from the desk and will be delivered either to your home or to the store for collection. Everything is well signposted so you won't spend too long searching for what you need. The store is always well presented, the staff are more than happy to help (although the checkout staff can sometimes be a bit miserable!) and you can usually find a great range of products at a much cheaper price than you'd find elsewhere.

Pretty good experience. (AIE)…read more Large store with a ton of stock and variety. Clothing, home goods, and the main part, grocery. I'm wearing a night shirt I picked up. Almost bought some dishes. Looked at every food isle. Purchased some nuts, protein drinks, and fruit. I'd put this at a higher than average quality grocer. Sushi station was just getting started, so I missed that. Lunch special items are all the way on the back wall. Not sure how to sign up for their frequent shopper program. If I was interested, large, manned customer service center at the front. Sells tobacco and lottery as well. There is a parking area attached to the building. Used self check out without any issues. Just an average store. (American in England)

This location was about a…read moreblock from my company apartment and I know for fact I went here more than anywhere else in England! Sad, I know. Now seeing as this is an amped up Wal-Mart, you can safely assume they have anything and everything here. I bought many groceries here, but they also had clothes, adapters for my tourist self, makeup and personal care items, liquor, magazines & books, tons of electronics and related items, home goods items, baby items, gifts & the cards to go with them, and toys. Plus I saw offers of cell phones & plans at checkout, seems they also have check cashing and other currency services. I personally used their ATM located just outside the doors millions of times to get some dinero. I found all the prices to be reasonable and workers were always quite friendly to me. They have a nice self checkout! Definitely my go to shopping spot while in Milton Keynes and I know I'll have many more visits when I return later this year. However as this place is so huge you'll probably still find what you are looking for. Since I've lived in Oxford I've come here about a dozen or so times. We tend to try and stick to mid evening as the crowds die down a bit and they are not quite into their horrible restocking mode. Generally you can find fresh products and a wide selection of near everything (do not come to this Tescos if you are looking for home goods/ electronics/ etc). The prices as it is Tescos are decent. The staff are generally friendly as long as you're not getting the end of shift crowd. PROS: Large selection Good quantity of stock Price CONS: Gets ultra busy Leftover stock can be of bad quality Other side of the ring road.

It's got a huge range of items, although no adult clothing (other than underwear) or much in the way of electronics/media/toys, unlike even bigger stores. For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. Staff are friendly and helpful, and offers on food are good value.

When she exited the shop to bring the goods to the car she was badly shaken by the danger she had been in. I watched outside as shoppers casually took completely uncleaned trolleys into the shop. My partner said that people were not giving space at all. These people and the staff are in coronavirus danger. We will not be visiting the shop again.

And yes, we did see my sister's neighbors there and apparently it is where people go to in oxford on a sunny sunday afternoon. I was wowed by the rows upon rows of stacked up imitation branded goods in Aldi and even more WOWED by their prices. Unfortunately most of the food I have tasted as far wasn't as wowing.... This included the not so cheesy gruyer cheese straws, the salty chocolate digestives, very dry bread (literally the sandwich dried my mouth better than a dentist's office) and not very juicy lemons. HOWEVER, they do somehow managed to make delectable "posh" chocolates, which comes in either packs of 5 in a pretty card board box or a bag of 5 variety flavours for about 99p. I am partial to the milk chocolate which tastes a bit like lindt and the dark is pretty decent too. Wowed by the prices, I leave with about 10 times as much groceries as I get from waitrose and about 5 times from tesco. Not sure I would shop here rather than the other 2 though... It is very cheap and the fresh produce looks ok, but I am not sure about anything else, down to the £3.50 bottle of "champagne"...
