Exceptional work and customer service, extremely knowledgeable staff. No wait time today. Answered all my questions and made some small adjustments for free after having major service done 3 months ago. Totally worth it.

This was by far the best experience I've had at a bike shop. I can't recommend them enough. They took so much time to go over everything with me. I was searching for a full suspension mountain bike and went to a few different shops. Ascent took everything into consideration and had me try out multiple bikes. They took the time to adjust each bike I tried to fit my weight, height, etc. They also took into consideration my budget and asked questions to help me get the best fit for me. I went back and forth between them and another shop that also had bikes I was interested in. I was initially leaning toward the one at the other shop and I have to say I was feeling that I was going to be disappointed giving the business to the other shop but obviously wanted to get the bike that I felt was the best fit and feel for me. They had one in stock that I had not even been considering initially but it worked perfectly. Once I knew which bike was the one, they made adjustments and let me ride it around and continued the process of making adjustments until I felt that everything was where I wanted it. I felt they were more about educating me and listening to what I had to say and determining what I wanted AND what would be best for me. Where the other shop, while they were nice just felt a bit more "salesy" and not looking to talk to me and ask questions to find the best bike for me. I cannot recommend this place enough and this will be our go to bike shop from now on.

Then you had to text back 'only do this and that'. I did not like that green eggs and ham. Anyway went in asking that my headset be greased expecting the same as above. Mech put it on stand, greased it up reassembled and said anything else- said no what do I owe you? NO CHARGE. So I tipped him. Your results may vary but If you go and get similar treatment give em a big tip. Awesome!

I had looked up local bike shops the day before on Yelp and remembered Criterium had great reviews so I said to myself, "I have no idea what I'm doing. I need help" so I went to Criterium. I'm so happy that I did! I walked into the store, and within one minute, Tom came over to ask if I needed help. I told him what kind of rides I intended on doing and my budget, and he showed me all of the available options for my height/size. He was very thorough and explained the breaks, gears, and features on the bikes. He adjusted the bike before I took it for a test ride, and again before purchase (I also added a kickstand and a water bottle holder). I loved how the service wasn't pushy at all, and he was honest about quality and ride. It was nice having help the entire way through the process. Highly recommend Criterium. Will be back for my husband's bike service as well as future tune ups. Additional note: I took my new bike for a six mile ride when I got home, and it met all of my expectations. I love the aesthetics, and it rides great! Def the nicest bike I've ever owned.

Buyer beware and good luck getting a Aventon bike from this bike shop. They gladly take your money,…read morebut don't communicate anything and clearly are limited in their ordering abilities. Read on to learn more.... We came in to try and test out some e-bikes, but were not able to test anything as they have very little, to nothing, in stock. "Everything on the floor has been sold" we are told. Pretty much a don't touch kind of vibe... Kind of cold, but I get it, other peoples orders. We ordered 2 bikes anyway and paid $1000 to hold our place. They need the money down to help with order costs I was told. As we were ordering, I spoke about the tax rebate program Colorado is doing. The guy mentioned it was a rough burden on them as they had to front the cost and they had no ability to pre order any inventory. Explains the no-go on the test drive. I asked when we would get them and they said they get priority over ordering directly from Aventon's website, so about 3-4 week plus one week to build it. After waiting almost 2 months we call to find out where our bikes are as we have heard nothing from them. We were told they have have not even been ordered due to being out of stock?!? We were then told we will need to wait at least another month, or more, and that's IF they can get our order in. I get on Aventon's site and it says both bikes ARE in stock (Size and color), and will be shipped in just over a month if I order now. (I also checked a month and a half ago, when they were both in stock, and the site said I would have already got them from Aventon.) When I pointed that out trying to understand their process, they became oddly defensive and started to give are reasons why its bad to buy directly from Aventon, better to buy from them, you don't get the CO tax rebate from the website, and you need to wait. Very much a HA HA ,checkmate Mr customer kind of vibe..... So we sadly canceled the bike order and went elsewhere empty-handed. I guess we lucked out as I just saw Aventon increased their prices $200, as announced on their social media accounts, "due to ebike tariffs and increase in ocean freight". We had no documented price guarantee from anyone when we "ordered" the bikes, so we would have had to pay that increase. 1 star for a very disappointing experience.
