After filing a claim in Dec 2023 with my homeowners insurance company (AAA of New Mexico) due to…read moreproperty damage caused by a water leak in an interior wall in my home, Service Master of Albuquerque was assigned by AAA to contain the resulting property damage and conduct restoration services. Once I had the plumbing fixed by a local plumbing company, the first thing Service Master did was install 5 large air movers (blowers) to dry out the affected carpeting, flooring and dry wall in my home. These air movers ran constantly for four days. Consequently, I learned afterwards that the air movers caused my entire home and all contents of my home to be cross-contaminated by the air movers spreading mold spores throughout my home. I subsequently had a different water extraction and restoration company evaluate my home environment through independent mold tests (at my expense) which resulted in confirmation of the existence of severe mold contamination throughout my home. I then obtained estimates/quotes for full mold remediation and restoration. Decontamination of all my household contents was estimated at $112,000+ (with a warning that actual costs could be higher) and restoration of the property damage estimated at $23,000+. When complaining to Service Master of Albuquerque and AAA of New Mexico after the AAA claim was closed, they both denied any responsibility for exacerbating the original property damage and localized mold state even though Service Master caused the expanded environmental cross-contamination by prematurely applying the air movers prior to isolating and resolving the immediate, localized area and the then limited mold contamination. Now, nearly 4 months later, I'm still dealing with the post-claim expanded cost and aftermath of the mismanagement of their initial remediation & restoration project. Further, one of my two house pet cats died from respiratory and other mold-related complications. He was otherwise quite healthy. For these reasons, beware of Service Masters' and AAA's services Make sure you fully understand your homeowners insurance coverage, limitations and restrictions and Service Masters' scope of work & project deliverables should you choose to employ them as contractors or sub-contractors for any scope of work effort. I'm extremely and completely disappointed with Service Master of Albuquerque and AAA. Service Masters are purportedly experts in Water Extraction, Mold Remediation and Restoration and should have properly managed this project from the onset.

Sue and I want to thank you for our amazing experience with you!…read moreWe have been motor home traveling the Southwest and were in west New Mexico last Sunday. We rose early to watch the sunrise and discovered a plumbing leak had water soaked our floors. A tragedy anytime but a disaster when you are away from home in search of help. Fortunately we found Service Master of Albuquerque! I called their 24hr response number and from the first conversation with Craig we were taken care of with professionalism and honesty. We drove to their shop and were met by Craig, Jerry and staff. They went to work evaluating the extent of damage and setting up a remedy. I was so impressed with their response, I said do what it takes to fix it and let me know the cost. They kept us informed all through the process and amazingly, we picked up our coach Tuesday morning all dried and freshly shampooed. From first call to the final transactions with Ben Back we were in excellent hands. I now add integrity to their reputation list.

A huge kudos to Allied Home Inspection Services!…read more We are in the process of building a 3,800 square foot home and our builder was adamant that the home was move in ready. We had expressed our concerns to our builder with the electrical and plumbing. Who would think that one needs to hire a home inspection for a new home? We were reluctant and concerned, but we immediately reached out on Yelp in search of a certified home inspector within the Albuquerque region. Donovan OBrien (owner of Allied Home Inspection Services) responded within five minutes of receiving the Yelp notification. Not only did he respond, Donovan made himself available to perform a home inspection on a Sunday (Mother's Day) nonetheless. He knew that we were in dire need of this inspection, as the builder was adamant that the home was move in ready. Donovan conducted a thorough home inspection and uncovered "significant" issues with the roof, electrical, and plumbing areas that he documented in a comprehensive inspection report on this same day. Donovan discovered our house was not in compliance with the NM building code requirements, and he took the time to thoroughly explain the deficiencies of our new home. Even though our builder had the NM Construction Industries Division (CID) conduct its final home inspection and issue the occupancy permit, we are ensuring that our builder addresses all home deficiencies/issues as we would rather be safe than sorry. I give Allied Home Inspection Services an A+ (5 stars) rating highly recommending future customers contact this company for a home inspection.
