These people are frauds! Our RE agent used WIN Home…read moreInspections for our pre-purchase inspection. If it was a win. it was only for the inspector, the agent, and the seller. They missed or outright lied on a long list of material defects that we only discovered after the close. Things like: Large double-glazed windows and sliding doors that only had one window them (the other neatly removed by the prior owners after breakage but never replaced?); a fireplace chimney, never used, where the flue was blocked from closing by a large chunk of construction concrete - it was never tested or inspected; no water connection to the refrigerator, even though it said so on the inspection report. The tank and connection had been disconnected and removed by the previous owner and is not fixable at any cost; and a whole list of lesser-cost items. Stay away from these people and demand your agent use a reputable company.

Hire Fireman Home Inspections to conduct a thorough inspection of your home so you don't have to worry about if the random person you just hired is actually going to do a good job. Whether you're preparing to put your house on the market or looking to buy a new home, you should get the property inspected right away by the best people, not just the cheapest which could cost you time and money down the line if not done right the first time. No one wants to buy a house full of issues, and I will recommend Fireman Home Inspections every single time. This is the second time I've worked with Lee Carns in a year on two different houses and he's the best professional you could hire for the job. You want someone that is going over the entire house with an infrared device that can see everything wrong behind the walls. You want someone actually testing every appliance, device, outlets and more. You want someone that's actually giving you feedback every step of the way. You want someone that's actually going to give you good house advice on how to maintain the house for the future. I'm telling you, I'm not a paid promoter, I'm not an auto generated AI bot review... I'm a real house-buyer on the other side of this screen right now telling you to use this company and spread the word to everyone that these are the people you want taking care of your inspections if you want the job done right and can trust the report was as thorough as can be. I might even just hire Lee once a year just to give me an updated run down of my house to make sure everything is in order. Six out of five stars!

But our rule of thumb is to do our due diligence anytime we are buying or selling, regardless of age or condition of the property. We decided to go with Beyond Home Inspection. And we are so glad we did! Their prices were very reasonable and they offered a discount as the home was a new build. Our Inspector, Ken, showed up early and was extremely kind, professional and knowledgeable. He explained his inspection process, answered all questions and addressed the handful of concerns we had. Ken began the inspection on the exterior then moved to the interior. Ken diligently and throughly inspected every inch of our home. I was onsite during the inspection and as items surfaced, Ken explained in detail and in words I could understand potential issues and items that required attention. He provided us with a detailed analysis of our property the same day the inspection was completed with at included detailed information and multiple images, electronically. Ken is even drone trained and if he was unable to throughly inspect the roof, would have used a drone. Luckily, he was able to access all points thus it was not needed. Ken is extremely insightful and I could tell that he truly cared about our interests! I cannot say enough great things. We 100% recommend Ken of Beyond Home Inspection! Can't speak to any other inspectors but I definitely vouch for Ken! Money well spent!

I cannot recommend this company. They inspected my home in end of May 2016. Said in the report that…read morethe central A/C was working. When I moved in the middle of June, after driving across country, it was 100degrees in Rio Rancho and the A/C did not work from the moment I stepped into the home. The fan worked but NO COOL AIR! It took seven days for the A/C to finally get serviced and for me to find out that there was no freon in the A/C. Not only that but they missed reporting a very important issue with the home. The master shower plumbing did not connect to the drain pipe. Looking down, you could see that there was a good inch gap in which water was not being funneled into the drain but was running down onto the foundation. I had several quotes from contractors who wanted to pull apart the shower and charge thousand of dollars to fix. How could a home inspector miss such a thing? For me, I found it very easy to spot. The very first time I stepped into the shower, I found a plug in the shower drain - not a tub, mind you, but a free standing shower. Instead of the normal shower cover that attaches to the proper plumbing, there was a metal ring in the opening where there should have been the usual shower drain cover (see attached photos). In my opinion, this should have been a clue to ANY home inspection that something was amiss but somehow, in the home inspection report, there was no mention of a plug covering an open drain or a missing shower cover or that upon inspection, water was running around the drain onto the foundation under the master shower, I called Mike and also sent an email. I wanted him to show up, see the problem and explain exactly how they missed this. He called back once to say that he was on his way over and would be there in 15 min. I was not home and missed that call. I emailed him after that including photos of the shower drain. No response ever again. Not an email in response to my email, not another phone call, nada. Had he gotten back to me and at least tried to offer proof that the A/C had been working at the time of inspection (other than just his statement in the report) or an explanation about the shower situation, I probably would not be writing this review. But, he didn't.

A&R squeezes in 6-7 inspections a day where Mike only books 2!! This assured us that we would receive a thorough and appropriate length inspection instead of a rushed one (A thorough inspection should be at least 3 hours). I had done some research on A&R and read some horrible reviews. Mike was referred to us by a coworker of mine and it was by far the best decision to change inspectors and go with Enchantment Home Inspections! Mike's inspections last about 3 hours if not more. He thoroughly checks everything, takes pictures and creates a binder containing pictures and descriptions of your home. Additionally he will provide you with a homeowners manual so you can learn proper care for your home. This is our first home and I wanted to feel secure in the decision of purchasing it. Mike was able to provide that sense of security! Thank you so much Mike!!

I have to admit, I was skeptical to go with Loop 1, only because they had no reviews on Yelp. As this is such a new process to me, I wanted to be wowed by some seriously glowing reviews from people like me that were new and nervous and had no idea what to expect. After calling all 3 places, we ended up going with Loop 1, even though I was nervous about it, because they were able to come at the one perfect time that worked best for us. LET. ME. TELL. YOU. I am over the moon that I trusted my realtor's advice and went with Loop 1 Home Inspections. Bobby Schultz was unbelievable! He voluntarily called me 3 days before the inspection just to explain the process to me. He even texted me several hours prior to calling, just to find out what time was best to call me that day. He answered any questions I had and completely put me at ease about this incredibly new and scary process. The invoice was emailed incredibly quickly, and in one convenient touch, I was able to pay it through my phone with Apple Pay! Fast forward to the day of the inspection.. Bobby got there early and was already hard at work. He told me upfront I was fine to be there all 3 hours to follow him around like a lost puppy dog. His only request was to bring a notebook to write down my comments/questions and wait till the end to ask him so that he wouldn't get distracted from doing the best possible job he could at inspecting the first home I'll ever buy. I appreciated that he cared enough to do such a thorough job, and boy did he ever. When it was all said and done, we sat down together and he had an initial report ready for us and went over it line by line. He was SO thorough ya'll! To top it off, he's also a realtor. I feel like that gives him a really great advantage because he has been on both sides of the table. He had the final report to us later that same evening! The process of buying a home has been sometimes more overwhelming than it has been exciting for us. But Bobby at Loop 1 Home Inspections at least made one part of this process very easy and painless! So don't be turned off by them only having 1 review now on Yelp! It's worth it, I promise! They are amazing!
