My elderly parents 82 & 79 arranged to have their car out to Willowbrook Chrysler. The Driver showed up. Great! As the key making could not be done for their car anywhere in Surrey. My mom & I were on the Phone with BCAA. My dad booked under his basic membership. However, my Mom has the Plus membership. BCAA told my mom to go out and give her card to the driver which she did and driver wrote it down. Then told my parents they had to take payment of overtime from them. Pardon? Of course my parents put it on their credit card. Plus Bayview had my Dad's Basic Membership and My Mom's Plus membership. I contacted Bayview Towing to correct this situation. She said "If BCAA said that it's a lie" continued to say more of the same rhetoric. I don't appreciate receptionist/Dispatcher slamming people who have been very caring with my elderly parents. Unlike Bayview Driver who outright told my parents it was "Overtime " and then the receptionist/dispatcher who said "Because your dad only had a Basic Membership and that is the reason for the charge " I explained My Mom, myself and BCAA where on the phone and the BCAA Professional told my Mom to give her card to the driver as she has a plus membership and her tow of 14.5 km would be fully Covered " We stayed on the phone while she did that. Taking advantage of clearly Vulnerable People is exactly what happened as soon as I and the BCAA professional hung up. Bayview said only BCAA can change that so call them. I did call BCAA spoke with a Professional and he tried to get to change and as for a refund for my parents credit card. Bayview said their card already been charged to late. The driver charged their card that is not new information. Both the receptionist/dispatcher and driver took advantage of my parents and didn't give a damn. Bayview did call me back after I hung up and I was on the phone with BCAA. There is absolutely nothing they can say to right this wrong. Since they never tried in the first place. BCAA is well aware of what transpired and has it on their memberships to NEVER use Bayview again for my parents. Willowbrook Chrysler is well aware of what happened to my parents. Luckily the driver hadn't dropped off the car yet. So now Bayview is on the radar of other businesses as well. I can handle someone who clearly doesn't want the job they have receptionist/dispatcher. What I want stand for is taking advantage of Elderly Vulnerable people not my parents or someone else's. That is the reason for my review today. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Bayview towing to ANYONE. What was done to my parents was/is appalling and disgusting. Then Blame it on BCAA. It wasn't BCAA saying it was "Overtime" it was their Bayview Driver. That is exactly what my parents believed they were paying for. Had they known it was my dad's membership card they would not have gotten their credit card. My mom would have quickly referred to her membership number she had given the driver and he wrote down. This what being paid on commission means. Take advantage of anyone you can looks like. Attention Dan and Corey: Corey your sister is the receptionist/Dispatcher I speak of in this review. So the rude, unprofessional and who is Quick to Slam others. That will never change will it Corey Because she is your sister? Time & Date I will listen to the recording of it. Seems to be your answer in a lot of others where you have said the same thing. Here is the philosophy I live by "Do your best to help the situation whether it is your fault or not" "No business is perfect and mistakes happen. It is in that moment that a business defines the business what they do to make it right that matters" Your Receptionist/Dispatcher taught me What Bayview Customer Service is. They showed me how who they are, and I believe them now. Any other towing company is better than Bayview.

"We don't have any affiliates" to help you (they might of lead with that and saved me a lot of time). There is another tow truck place in town, Meridian Towing. I called them directly and had my car home in a half-hour. Guy (the owner) couldn't have been nicer and his son, Perry, were two of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet. I just can't thank them enough and I will be calling them directly for any future car problems!

I was nervous and wasn't sure if my car needed a tow, but it definitely needed some duct tape and zip ties to hold my bumper together as I could hear rattling noises. Guy, the lovely gentleman that helped me, was very friendly and knowledgeable...he was also a mechanic, which made it even better as I wasn't sure what was wrong with my car at that exact moment. He was calm and acknowledged that I could get going without having to tow to the nearest mechanic shop. He didn't try to rip me off by having me towed when it wasn't necessary, since a tow is by the mileage plus the $75 fee. I had called all the local mechanic shops in Blaine and everyone was full, they couldn't even take me in....I felt stranded. Anyways, Guy patched my bumper up, checked under the hood, assured me my car was safe to drive and off I went and managed to get back into Canada. I'm so grateful to have met Guy, you don't meet people like that often. Keep up the great work!

DAMAGED MY CAR - $1,011.60 - Local tow truck company near me…read more I hired LOW-COST TOWING to tow my car from Surrey, BC to the dealership for a factory recall repair. When the tow truck driver was at the dealership, he walked into the dealership service bay asking the mechanics how to set the emergency brake on our car. Then tow truck driver dropped the car and pulled the tow truck forward. Our car rolled down the hill and crashed into the T-Bar on the back of the LowCost Towing tow truck. This caused damage to the spoiler and cracked the oil pan. The service manager from the car dealership was outside and witnessed the entire incident and towing damage. The dealership called me to report the damage caused by Low Cost Towing. Then the service manager sent me photos of the damage with an estimate to repair the damage caused by the tow company. I called Low Cost Towing and spoke with JASWINDER VILLING. He assured me that they had insurance for this and if his driver caused the damage, that his company had ICBC insurance for damage claims caused by his towing company. Jaswinder asked me for the estimate to repair the damage, then promised to look into the matter and get back to me. However, the owner of LowCost Towing in Surrey did not return my call with an update. Instead, I received a call from KAMALJIT BHANGU, the driver from Low-Cost Towing denying any wrongdoing. I followed up with an email to Jaswinder at LowCost Towing Inc. He denied that his driver damaged the car and suggested that we be careful and not drive over any curbs. I contacted the local RCMP to report the vehicle damage. The RCMP recommended I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for the damage caused by the local towing company. Then I try to turn it on and the car won't start. This is when I call Low Cost Towing. The driver shows up 40 minutes later, and he is professional. I told him I had no power, and he tried to boost my SUV, it didn't start. So he said where are we towing it. The location is not even 7 kms away. Dumb me not asking the price just said okay let's go. So he proceeds to hook my SUV and takes it to the shop. Then he goes to me and says that will be $192 I was floored. I thought maybe $80 to $100 max! He gave me an explanation, and I didn't care to hear it. So I paid $192 for less than a 7 km trip. This is when I get mad at the towing company. The owner / mechanic comes out and says, "What's the problem?" I tell him what happened and within 3 minutes, he put on a battery booster, and my car started instantly. I told him I lost acceleration, so he put the vehicle in reverse and drive. They both work! The owner turns to me and says, "Are you drunk?" That's when I got mad and said no the bloody tow driver tried to boost it and it didn't work. He informed me to call them and let them know they need a new battery booster because there's was trash. The mechanic says well your car is good to go. Then I took off. I thought about it, and realistically, if the tow company did their job, then I wouldn't have had to be towed and waste 2 or 3 hours of the beautiful long weekend. So I called the place and spoke with dispatch or the owner. I am not too sure. Then I explained everything and said to me we can't do nothing he towed you. I said if your charger worked properly, then how didn't my car start. HE HAD NO RESPONSE. then I keep asking, and he eventually says oh maybe the booster is not working properly. So I say how much is a boost in which he says $100 which is crazy but then I go. Well you guys messed up. You should give me the difference back. I said give me $90 back, and he says no. Then he says, "Let me call the driver and get back to you." That was over 24 hours ago. I am still waiting for a call back. My name is Mark D it happened on Maple St and Marine dr.
