They ran…read moreelectrical wiring and NAILED the wire BETWEEN the sheetrock and the studs (twice!) bulging out the sheetrock and causing electrical fire danger. I had to unscrew the sheetrock and get the wire out. They put sheetrock directly over an electrical outlet with no hole in the sheetrock, causing me to spent hours redoing their work! They nailed THROUGH an electrical outlet box to install it. So I have 2 nails with bare metal exposed inside an electrical box where an outlet is supposed to go-that's a major fire hazard! They spent 2 weeks doing a ~1 week job. They used an electrical sander for mudding with no sheets and spread sheetrock dust all over the basement. 2 months later, still digging out from their mess. Absolutely horrible; overcharged, underperformed, multiple instances of fire SAFETY hazard issues, egotistical jerks. Brian is a real piece of work, horrible individual to work with. Threatened to put a lien on the house b/c they didn't want to clean up dust mess they spread all over the basement (over computers, chairs, couches, etc.) and I wouldn't pay them until they did. I paid him $600 in advance to begin a standard job for me on March 17th, 2025 and I never saw him again. He had excuse after excuse of why he couldn't come to my house every day. A couple of days he said his truck was broken down. The other days he was riding around all over Florence and "timbuktu" to find the materials for my job that were readily available at Lowe's and Home Depot. On Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 I began asking for my $600 back and asked him every day until March 27th. He offered to take $300 off the labor to which I told him no because this was job I needed done quickly and he knew that. I saw he had clearly been taken advantage of me, so I told him I wasn't interested because I needed to get someone in dependable to get the job done and asked one final time on the 27th to refund my $600 since he had not began the job, nor did he ever bring materials to my property. On the 27th, after I refused to accept the $300 off, he stopped responding to my texts and I haven't heard from him since. If by posting this review will save anyone from being taken advantage by this man, especially a single Mom like myself, then posting this review was the right thing to do. I prayed very hard before posting and I felt lead to do so.

I first called about my backyard wooden gate. I have a "kitchen door" type gate which allows me to open the top, put the garbage bag into the can in the alley for Friday pickup and not let the dogs out. It was beginning to sag and I was afraid I would have to have it replaced. The owner, Micah, looked it over and said he thought it just needed to be secured. He worked on the hinges and added a bolt to the bottom gate to support it and keep it level. He noticed that some of the nails in wooden fence itself were coming out and went back and secured them as well. I was very pleased with work he did. Micah is willing to do what you need -- a big job or just a small one! Since then, Ancient Path Handyman Services LLC have helped me with my back door, the gutters and a few other things. He shows up when he says he will. With every project that we have asked him to do, he has come through 100%. He has helped us with multiple projects including: - Carpentry (including pocket door) - Installations (mailbox post, stair rails, etc.) - Plumbing (shower, faucets - two bathrooms) - Pressure-washing - Gutter cleaning/repair - Landscaping - Electrical (ceiling fans, ceiling lights, rewire/install curio cabinet lighting) - Even picture-hanging (meticulously with a level!) There have also been times when we needed something and *thought* we knew what we needed, but he offered options and suggestions that were a significant improvement to what we were thinking. Too bad I can't give a zero. They were contacted to come and service my upstairs A/C. They never…read morecalled me, I had to call them. around 3 in the afternoon, on Friday, 2 Technician's helpers showed up with no tools, just a meter. The made some checks and determined my system was "out of Freon." They left about 3:30pm. They were closed for the weekend. My house is burning up. On Monday I called them and they said someone would be out that afternoon. House is getting hotter. On Tuesday I called back and they said it would be Wednesday before they would be back. I made some calls, and was able to get someone to come out. They found my system was 2lb low on Freon. Serviced my system, house is fine at 74 Deg. I called Lovelace back and fired them. They don't care about the customer. They don't treat you like your business is important to them. The lady I talked to was very nonchalant the whole time I dealt with them. Do yourself a favor and find a good company that treats the customer right.
