One of the garage door openers at my house is really old and not WiFi compatible. I called Overhead Door Company of Huntsville/North Alabama to inquire about purchasing a WiFi enabled garage door opener. They had what I needed and an appointment was set up for the opener to be installed in less than 24 hours. Buddy showed up. He was pleasant and personable while he worked at a fast speed taking the old opener off and installing the new opener. He replaced the spring and rollers for two garage doors. Afterwords he lubed both garage doors. His work was excellent. He was efficient and fast. We have more garage door openers to replace and will call next week to schedule an appointment. In our remodeling of our home we decided to install two new insulated garage doors including new openers and all new hardware. My first call was answered by a receptionist who indicated a sales rep would be in contact with me. After three business days I did receive a call from a young man named Mitchell. I described the two doors and requested he come to my property because I wanted to match the two new doors with an existing door which was installed on a detached garage by their company in 2007. That door has worked perfectly. He said they don't do that much business in Decatur anymore and he didn't really have time to drive to Decatur. But he said he would work up a ballpark estimate and call me back. That was in July 2021 and now over two months later he has not called back...and that's okay with me. I'm willing to spend between 3 and 4 thousand dollars for two high quality, insulated doors with timing belt operators and he doesn't want to do business with me. Something has happened to this business since 2007. I will not beg to do business with Overhead Door Company of North Alabama located in Madison. My money will be spent elsewhere. read more

Found out my garage door was off track at 7am. Called Overhead Door as soon as they opened. Our service man Dan was at our home within an hour, fixed the problem, installed a new opener (our request) and was done in less than 2 hours. Oh wow... I am the first one to write a review on Yelp for Overhead Door of Huntsville/ North Alabama. I never take the time to post reviews but the service and honesty that I received makes me want to share with everyone. I live in Birmingham and own rental property in Huntsville. One of my tenants called with a garage issue. I got searching online for a good garage door company to call and this company popped up. They had the most Google reviews and seemed like all thumbs up for them. I called to see when someone could come out to meet me at the property to see what was up... they stated they could come that day, but I am over two hours away so they scheduled me at 10 the next morning. Mitchell (which was a diagnostic adviser) was there right on time. I hate to admit I am not the handyman that I should be. That being said Mitchell took the extra time to educate me on all the workings and advised me what to watch out for in regards to future repairs etc... well I thought, okay, here comes the bad news and an upsell... but he simply showed me the issue and had a tech come and repair it within the hour. All back to perfect. I did call the company again yesterday to find out if someone could meet me at two different properties that are being remodeled to possibly change out my old doors with new ones.
