Friday morning our toilet bubbled when doing laundry. Checked the septic tank and it was full. Looked on Yelp and found ASAP Septic had great reviews. Called and they were here in 3 hours. We have a 150 foot paver driveway and they didn't want to drive the truck onto it and into the grass. They asked all precautionary questions about plumbing, electrical and cable running through to prevent damage. They explained everything and how the system works. They pumped the tank out and replaced the filter. They were polite and very knowledgeable. I am not sure what normal price is for pump out, but it was $410. ASAP Statewide Septic. The service that was provide was horrible! They took my payment but did not complete the service. They did not empty the septic tank and when I told them that, they refuse to complete the service. When I called the office to complain the reception told me they will return the following morning to complete the job. I called the following morning to confirm, and they said they were on their away, but they never showed up to the property. I called again the next day, and the owner provided the same LIE again; "Stating that they were on their way". On the third day I called again that morning and the owner again "Stated that he was down the street and my property was the next on his list. When it hit 5pm I decided that I give this company enough opportunities to make this right and called another septic tank company to complete the job. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, and Florida Consumer Complaint. This company should not be operating and should return all the payments that scammed from the customers. Oh my goodness! Where to begin?! My parents moved into a newly renovated home in Melbourne Beach in late June and dad didn't even stay a night before dad had to travel for a funeral, leaving my elderly mom alone. Almost immediately upon moving in, the septic backed up, and the plumber involved with the renovation refused to go and take a look at the situation. (At 4pm on a Wednesday...not exactly middle of a weekend.) He insisted that I have the septic tanks pumped, and recommended a company to do it that didn't even call me back by the next morning. Then, they wanted almost $1000 b/c it was considered "an emergency!" I called another company who could come in two days for half that, so I took that appointment. (By this time I knew the water wasn't coming over onto the floor so I wasn't as desperate to have it pumped for an exorbitant amount of money.) I moved mom into my home and prepared to wait two days. As we drive to my house, I passed an ASAP septic truck twice and figured I'd give them a call. Unlike the other companies, who were very rude, the office staff was pleasant and helpful, explaining that we had two tanks to be pumped, but that they would just start with the black water tank and not charge us for the grey if it didn't need to be pumped. And the price was one quarter the first quote I had! And, they apologized that they couldn't come until the very next am! The next morning, I drove back to meet them at the house and they were already there early, prepared to get started. They emptied the first tank and then snaked the system and nothing further needed to be done. They were extremely professional, quick, and very reasonably priced! We had been having issues with our septic system occasionally backing up. After being told that the drain field needed replacing (6-year-old house), we called ASAP Septic & Sewer. They came out the very next morning, pumped out the tank and inspected the system. The drain field was accepting water perfectly. What they did find was that the tank had settled, causing the pipe leading from the house to be on an inclined angle, which slowed the water flow to the tank, and caused back-ups. When we replace the pipe, it will be a far less expensive fix than replacing the drain field. Techs, Alton and Antwan, were as knowledgeable, professional and honest as anyone could hope for. I would highly recommend ASAP. My septic tank needed to be cleaned out. I called several places and was told they could not come until the following week or if they did come I would be charged the emergency weekend fee (I called on a weekday). I called ASAP and was greeted by a very nice lady who told me they could come out but it would be later in the afternoon. I was okay with that, because I was just happy it was the same day. After I hung up the phone, she called me back 15 mins later to tell me she was sending someone out right away. Wow was I impressed! Said entire system needed replacement. A new septic tank, drain field and cut my tree down!! They lied and said water gushed out when they put a hose in the line. This is an outright lie. My husband watched as the water barely trickled back out the pipe. They want to have me cut down my tree and replace entire system bc they know the house is for sale and under contract. I called to tell them this and the bitch hung up on me. Never had an issue. Dont have soft ground. Dont have a back up in my tanks. Dont have really green spots in my yard. Toilets started gurgling so we called a plumbing co. Monday afternoon. He said it was the septic needed to be pumped out. Said was totally full and do not run any wanter or flush any toilet until it gets pumped out or we will have a back-up in the home. It was after business hours and no one answered. Tuesday morning they said they will no longer service this area because it was too far away and they were going to cancel all contracts in this area. They provided a list of optional places to call. We called every single one and rarely received a live person -- just a bunch of voicemails. Left messages everywhere. When speaking with a person, they *all* said they could not do it until Friday (this was Tuesday morning!!). We kept trying to no avail. We finally settled on ASAP Septic simply because the price was half the amount payed to the original contracted company; I will update on Friday. It is now Tuesday evening and I have a feeling it's going to be a very l o n g 3-day wait until Friday. They give you a time frame such as "9am-10am" and then when 1145am rolls around and you've been outside waiting for them you have to call.... multiple times. You will then get told "I will call your right back Im gonna text them" Their right back is actually 30 minutes and YOU have to call THEM to ask where someone is as you have been sitting outside of a house. Trying to purchase a house through VA loan and its pretty important that the septic issues get solved otherwise I would have told them to kick rocks.
