When they had to order my new tires I had them the next day. There are public restrooms located outside on the west side of the building. It's not too clean, there's newspapers scattered across the table inside..(it's a man's world here). I believe they also have coffee and I know they sell bottles of pop. There are times when I've come in with men sitting around the table having their manly discussions..kind of cute. They accept credit cards, cash and checks..not Google pay. My kids usually stay in the vehicle here.

You can't get gas here and it offers no services, but it's located right off the main highway with plenty of parking and amazing photo ops. The little white service station, built in the 1930s, is one of only two upper-story porch style stations left on Oklahoma's stretch of Route 66! It was built with the owner's living area above the station and has a delightful American Craftsman style architecture. The vintage gas pumps remain, and there's a nifty historical marker with more information about the building. Lucille's was officially added to the National Register of Historic Places in the late 90s. Worth a stop, and bring your camera!

They could have sensed my desperate situation and seen my out-of-state plates, then charged me more than others. But they did not. The price was very competitive to previous estimates (which I procrastinated), and he was honest about the second CV joint not needing replacement.
