Over the past few years I have gotten a few haircuts (including a wash) and one color service…read more Before I got the color service, my dark brown hair was sparsely highlighted blonde, and the base color at my ends, for some reason, was darker than my roots, which were dyed lighter. So I had this weird light-to-dark ombre with black roots that had already started to grow back in. My stylist at Andrew Marke fixed this by darkening my roots to blend back into the growth and adding additional highlights to lighten the color at my ends. She even added an subtle auburn to my ends, which looked lovely. The salon is stylish, sleek, and very clean. Price-wise, I find this salon to be quite pricey. From what I can remember, my haircuts were $50-55 each and the coloring was upwards of $80. However, if you're looking to get a big change or try a new style, the Andrew Marke is wonderful.

She is always professional and lets me know what's realistic for my hair type. She knows my hair and I know when I leave her chair that the results are going to be what I expect and then some! For the other reviewer - it is a family owned business and has a very warm feel to it (Hannah is the owner's daughter). The place is always inviting when I go there and I've never seen the owner peddling her boutique side of the business over her hair clients.

She didn't wear gloves, barely filed my nails or push back cuticles. I had a split nail that I tried to repair with fiberglass wrap. She said my attempt to repair it was on pretty solid, so she didn't want to damage it further. Nails just didn't have that refined, polished, professional look that I was hoping for AND paying for.
