I am a single mom and I don't really know a lot about cars and I am always afraid that the bigger dealerships will take advantage of my lack of knowledge and overcharge me for unnecessary repairs. The owner Matt was very helpful and assured me that my car was in good hands. He gave me a full comprehensive appraisal, and explained everything in full detail on what needed to be done with the car. I was very pleased to hear that the prices were very affordable and reasonable especially for the quality of work that was done to my car, and the timelessness of the repairs. I was told they were a listed with Progressive so they guarantee their work. A few months later a HUGE Crack appeared out of no where while I was driving on a side street. At first I thought it was water or something because it came out of nowhere. The Crack started from the bottom of the windshield where the adhesive and weather striping is and curved almost to the other side. The guy at Affordable Auto Glass looked at it and said "oh yep you were hit" and pointed to nothing. I said as much and he just kept gas lighting me. I know I wasnt hit by anything, but they shuffled me into the shop, fast talking the whole way, and set up a replacement appointment. When I got home I inspected the windshield more throughly and the crack starts from a chip INSIDE the glass where it meets the adhesive. Furthermore there is a similar chip on the other side where the glass meets the adhesive that has not propagated into a Crack (yet). These guys do not stand by their work, and will not be honest about their mistakes. This shop was good many years ago but the current owners do not care about quality or accountability.
