If I could do a zero star rating I would. Applied for a homeowner's loan with Arvest and visited them two times to discuss. Brought in papers requested to get it started. This was started I believe in Feb or so. After the second meeting, we have not received a call, nor has a call been returned to us when we leave messages. This bank was recommended by the first realtor that we dealt with, whom also never kept in contact with us. My daughter found a different realtor and we looked at more homes. When we found the one we wanted, she AGAIN called the Arvest Bank in Branson, which her call STILL HAS NOT BEEN RETURNED. This was around May 3. The new realtor gave us an
individual's name that he refers his clients to and this individual called us within an hour. I explained to him that we started with Arvest and wanted to give it a few more days to see if she would call back. Well, she never called back. I contacted Travis on the 6th. Guess what, we had papers filled and he and his assistant kept in contact with us letting us know what additional info they needed. We were approved on May 10. I have found out that others in Branson has used this company and is very satisfied with them. I am also in the process of moving our company accounts to a different bank and Arvest was the one I was going to move them to. My G.M. also was looking for a different bank and was just about to move all her accounts until I told her what Arvest DIDN'T do.
