It grew back very short and thin, never going past the length for a pixie. They used their signature flat method to give her an incredibly natural and heavenly set of tresses. If you didn't know what she went through you wouldn't even think she has extensions. They gave her extensions made up of beautiful 100% European hair, gave her some very natural sun kissed highlights, and layered them to perfection. She got her original set two months ago and we just went in for a touch up. Their method is so gentle, my mother had absolutely 0 damage from their bonding agent and had a very impressive amount of growth. So, I reached out to Ashly after finding her through Yelp and I'm so happy I did! Ashly is a master of her craft! But, what's even better is how she has the ability to make you feel like you're her best friend. Upon walking in, I was greeted by her friendly dog Kingston and her ultra cute Sphynx kitty Cocito. She had her amazing interns with her. Overall, the place was an awesome family feel. I loved every moment of it. Ashly is extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Her passion and excitement show through her flawless work. I showed her color and cut inspo pictures and she was able to get it spot on. What's the best part of the entire experience? I came across this salon through a friend who had survived cancer. After completing her radiation,…read moremy friend's curly hair started to grow back. She treated herself to a keratin treatment to straighten her curls, and her hair looked healthy and shiny. I've always been curious about the famous keratin treatments. The humidity in South Florida has sometimes created a lion mane out of my hair, so my primary goal is to always tame the frizz. After much thought, I decided to visit Jose Luis. I explained to him that I loved my wavy hair but hated the frizz and I did not want pin straight hair. He explained his product line to me and I chose to get the mildest form of organic keratin treatment. (Note: Even if the treatment is organic, it will still contain some chemicals as these are necessary to alter the hair's composition.) The process took about two and a half hours and the price was reasonable compared to how much many salons in the area charge. I have to admit, the first few days I was worried about my hair losing its shine or silky feeling. There was a slight smell too, which I figure was a result of the product and high heat from the flat iron. It's been about two weeks now since my treatment and I am pleased. No frizz. No chemical smell. I still have some of my wave, which I love, and I'm using less product to style my hair. Jose Luis explained that this process will last about three months. I'm planning on getting another treatment from the salon right before summer starts. I'm pleased with his explanation of the process, the products he uses (the Natura Organic line) and with how my hair looks and feels.
