Brothers went above and beyond fix the problem coming out on a Saturday and one other day to resolve the issue after the flooring was installed. They were able to find a discontinue piece of trim to finish the project. Andrew as responsive and really helped solve a problem which was unforeseen by everyone until the carpeting was removed. In addition, the team finished ahead of schedule and the flooring looks great! There is always something problematic which comes up with home projects, and it was great that Brothers was able to make everything right without a hassle. Our grout is cracking at all the seams, the tiles are cracking, and the floor is uneven and separating. He obviously didn't use the right materials. We've talked many times about the issues we are having and he always defaults to "the job was done per industry standards." He's like a broken record. If you want a poor job fixed to be done the right way he will charge you extra. Even though the defects began showing up only a couple months after he finished the job, he refuses to come back and fix anything because now it's been over a year. I've read the google reviews about his business and it sounds like a common theme. His replies are what I experienced dealing with him - he takes no accountability for his poor work and always blames someone else.

This was a major investment for us and we thought we had done all our due diligence. Unfortunately, Matt was very convincing and charismatic and we thought we were in great hands. He bragged that in over 22 years, he had never had a shower fail or leak!! During the installation, I was surprised by how messy and inconsiderate he and his crew were. I even talked with him a couple of times about the level of mess he left each day. At one point he or crew member broke an antique Limoges tea cups (inherited from my Grandmother). Matt was rather condescending and totally unapologetic about it. He offered nothing to reimburse us for the loss. Fast forward 2 years, our $10,000 shower is leaking into our family room. In good faith I called him, hoping he would be a professional and take action to make things right. Matt claimed he could find no record that he installed the shower. Thankfully, I had the bid and invoices. Once I provided the invoices, he went black ops and disappeared. He must have saved my number, because from then forward when I called, it went straight to voice mail. So I called him from a different number and he picked up immediately. He went straight to "it's out of warranty". After a little discussion he claimed he would come take a look at it... Again, when called to follow, up straight to voice mail. So, I called from another number... He picked up immediately! This time he was abusive, argumentative, rude, defensive and hung up. I have never written a negative review about anyone or any company before. However, this time I felt the need to share my horrible experience with Prestige Tile & Stone. If you want to spend $10K on a shower, only to have to spend over that amount 2 years later, to fix the failing mud pan and damage done to your home from the failure... go no further Matt is your man! If you want to work with a professional with any level of integrity and the grit to really put their name on their work ( which means that in 2 years when it fails don't get nasty and say its out of warranty too bad so sad) keep looking and do not give him the time of your day or money!
