This place is right at the back of the park near the Blackheath entrance. Usually I don't walk this way. But I'm so pleased i did! Why? Well they do the yummiest ice cream. Jersey cream ice cream. All tasty and lovely and perfect. The queue wasn't a mile long, the service was friendly, and they hadn't run out of strawberry. They're my new favourite people. A double scoop is £3, but then you get to stroll through the park to the deer enclosure eating ice cream, so it's £3 well spent. There's outside seating as well, but why would you want to sit there when you can get some grass between your toes in the sunshine?! Great find. I'll be walking to the park the back way from now on.

There's a scheme thing in Greenwich that means locals share their wi-fi (I know, aren't we friendly), so yes, I was sat in a garden with flowers and bees with wi-fi on my laptop in the sunshine. Utter Siany happiness. The latte was excellent, all foamy and yum (£2) and the food looked great as it went by to another table. Quiche, soups, sandwiches, that kinda thing. Oh, and that cute little tabby kitty? Friendly as anything, but a little bit camera shy. I'm so taken with this little cafe. But mostly because of the garden. I think I've missed the best of the sunshine now. Wish I'd popped in sooner. This might be my best find of 2010. It's certainly my favourite cafe in Greenwich at the moment.
