Unbelievable experience.
The fiasco of a dead battery could have cost me a bundle & almost did .... Until I talked to Larry at Art's.
After already paying $110 for a jump to get me to a town big enough to have my battery, I go to a large chain store, of course right? Only to find out they don't install them. So, found a shop which would install it for $60, but the terminal ends had to be replaced and that would be another $100 plus I'd have to wait over the weekend to get it in on Monday. Well, strike #2.
SO, called Art's, yes they had my battery, install was FREE and when they looked at my terminals - he came back with a cloudy jar of water & a small brush of some sort and started doing something under the hood. Came back out and said terminals are fine, now that the off-gasing from the old battery has been taken care of they shouldn't be getting that build up any longer. SAY WHAT ?? I may be a gal and I may have blonde hair, but seriously here - shocked - so maybe there's a little dumb blonde in there, but still !!
So to SUM UP: the battery from Art's was $33 LESS than the major chain. not to mention saving $160 in installation and new "not needed" terminals.
I AM AHEAD $ 193.00 FOLKS !!
