I was going to the last stylist for 15 years and I've been searching for one that listens to what I want for my hair unfortunately the last appointment I had the girl only had a few years experience and didn't exceed my expectations so I chose to go with somebody that has more experience and would understand my hair needs to what I wanted as soon as I walked in I was greeted right away and was asked. How do you want your hair and I explained that I wanted highlights with a haircut with layers and she did an amazing job on my hair. She definitely succeeded my expectations. I left with my hair exactly how I wanted. Finally somebody understands my hair needs and of course she tells me that she's moving to Arizona in January. I'm like I just found you and you're leaving but she did a great job. The prices were great and I even booked my next appointment. Very clean establishment very clean atmosphere. I wouldn't go to a place for the 2nd time unless I felt it was quality, worth the money, and a pleasurable experience. I'm sitting in the chair now, waiting for my color to set in while going through the reviews, and I read a review by someone named Libby, and it was an awful review. I don't know that person personally, but I do know, as a professional photographer, she posted a bunch of photos that had very poor lighting, and do not exhibit the true nature of her daughter's color experience. It appears to me that she is just a disgruntled customer looking for a discount or something else. That happens a lot and it's disgusting. She said she is a cosmetologist, so she should know better than to get upset over things that happen naturally. I've been getting my hair cut and colored for many years and there is always a little bleed over onto the skin, because you can't tape it perfectly like a painter does with a wall. I'm a professional photographer, not a hairstylist, but I do know that after I leave, and I've been doing this for many years, I always make sure that the next shower I take to that I also have a nice washcloth with some soap or some hydrogen peroxide and rub my skin where there may have been some color that overlapped under the skin. That's the way it is and this person, Libby, should know better, since she said she is a cosmetologist. It's not a perfect science. There's always going to be some bleed over onto the skin. Unfortunately, I can't remove her review from Yelp, but I do know that people need to understand that that review was total, and I don't want to use the word that I want to use, but it was total garbage. Tatiana took care of my hair today with a bleaching, cut, and color and, once again, she did an awesome job. .
