I bought a lemon tree there some time ago and it is healthy and gives lots of lemons. I can't recall if I had it delivered or I had our truck with us, but I do think they will deliver the big trees. Then they pressured into signing day of, for an $8k discount or so. Pressure under time - never buy into it. Then they started calling. "Can get you this deal if you agree to do the worth between x months." It literally went down to $28k by the time I had to tell them I went with someone else. They only do pavers. Any additional work would need a different contractor to complete the work. Something as simple as capping an exterior gas line, demo of existing structure etc. they just weren't a fit for our project and what we needed.

We can't say enough great things about WestMod. We had been designing our backyard for over two…read moreyears and knew the aesthetic we wanted when I started researching companies and following WestMod on Instagram. We met with several design and landscape companies and received estimates that varied quite a bit. WestMod came in higher than our other top choice, but there's a reason why: you get the polished details, high-end materials, craftsmanship, and service you're paying for. From the beginning, we worked with designer Joseph, who was incredibly talented at taking our layout ideas and mood-board inspiration and turning them into a cohesive design. I had a very particular vision that was different from WestMod's more ultra-modern projects. I wanted a Bali/Tulum/Mediterranean resort feeling. Joseph said he was up for the challenge, and he delivered. We were able to personalize the design and make adjustments to get everything to a price point and budget we were comfortable with. Once construction began, our project manager, Will B., and the crews were fantastic. They got right to work on day one and accomplished so much it looked like they had been there a week! Everyone was punctual, and the yard was left as tidy as possible considering the amount of construction happening. Before we knew it, the pool was dug and our vision was coming to life. I loved choosing all our materials, from tile and turf to coping, scuppers and firepits. Everything was high quality and installed with excellent craftsmanship. Whenever something bothered me or didn't seem quite right, I would reach out to Will. He would have someone there that day or the next to address it. That responsiveness is one of the biggest differences with WestMod. Nothing I brought up was ever dismissed as too small. If it mattered to me, it mattered to them. I also want to give an honest review for anyone shopping around. We did have an issue with mislabeled turf, resulting in the wrong color being installed by their subcontractor. As soon as I brought it to Will's attention, WestMod quickly got us back on the schedule to replace it. The turf company manager even called me personally to apologize and explain how they would correct it. We also learned afterward that we needed pet-friendly infill. If you have dogs, make sure to ask for it! Once I mentioned the issue, WestMod sent someone back to install the proper infill. Construction debris could also pile up more than I was comfortable with, especially living in an HOA neighborhood, but whenever I contacted Will, it was hauled away within a couple days. The office staff was equally wonderful. Hayley was exceptional and one of my favorite people to interact with. She provided links for tile and other materials, responded the same day, and was incredibly resourceful when I couldn't find something that matched our vision. Within days she would find exactly what I was describing, tell me whether it fit our budget, and help figure out how to make it work. Carlin handled the financial and contract side and was also a pleasure to work with. We only had a few change orders for things I decided to add along the way, and everything was handled quickly and clearly through updated pricing, DocuSign and receipts. Every specialized crew had a lead who was available to answer questions. Ricardo was one of my favorites. He spent as much time as necessary getting the arches on our water wall exactly how I envisioned them. He always listened with a smile, and I really appreciated his kindness and attention to detail. And finally, we couldn't have accomplished all of this on such a short timeline without our project manager, Will B. I have high standards, and I think his may be even higher. He made sure everything was pristine. He responded early mornings, late nights and weekends, never dismissed a question or concern, and got things handled quickly and with an incredible level of detail. He came by often to check the work and make sure we were happy before moving to the next step. The finished backyard is beautiful beyond what we imagined. WestMod helped us maximize our space, made sure our money was well spent, and took so much of the stress out of a major remodel. Krystal, Jesus, and all their staff really provide professional, quality service and care for our yard and irrigation needs. We initially got started with them for a total clear out and clean up of our existing landscape and ended up sticking with them for weekly maintenance services and little projects here and there and have never looked back! Anytime there are issues, they are on it!! Today was another example - I asked Steve if he would just check up on my back sprinklers bc I noticed they didn't run Monday and when he did, he found a HUGE leak in one of our main irrigation pipes! Our house is kind of old and starting to need a lot of repairs so I wasn't completely surprised but the leak was pretty big. We had to turn off all the water to the house and wait for them to get one of their irrigation and plumbing experts over. Richard showed up almost immediately and had us all cleaned up and back in business in no time!! He even hung around to make sure all the leaking stopped etc. I was blown away - I figured I'd need to call a plumber and go through all that nightmare but no!! Her prices are reasonable, but her knowledge and experience made her our overall choice. Crystal was always available and patient with us throughout the process. Sometimes we would email her late on an evening or Friday, expecting her to respond the following week. Instead, she would respond that same night or during the weekend and offered to jump on a call if we still needed clarification on something. Also, she explained that with the set price for the landscape design and drawings, it would include any revisions that our city deemed did not meet their requirements. However, our city chose to reject the plans a couple of times because the city did not follow their own requirements. Crystal made the revisions to our plans at no additional cost, and we were extremely grateful for her generosity. We hope that when the city finally approves our plans, that we can work with Crystal to complete the project as well. My wife and I had a great experience working with Crystal and can trust that she does what she says and will go above and beyond your expectations like she did for us.
