We had to recently get a memorial plaque made for a service and at first had all of it done on a wood base with a gold plate. It looked fantastic! Our family ended up changing their minds and wanted a stone plaque instead. After adventuring all over Syracuse to find a small square piece of marble, we came back here. I was really worried that he wouldn't take our piece or that it would be to hard to do on marble. He had no issue at all and charged the same price as the other day. What impressed me even more so, was that he was able to use his tool to etch in a Chinese name in addition to all of the other stuff we had written. Here is the kicker...the price was out of this world. There was no "per word" nonsense here. The guy charged us the same for both pieces and one had Chinese writing on it.
