(LONG time) I got a mani (dip powder) and a regular pedi. Total was 82 dollars. I understand prices have gone up with the economy however I'm not sure that the attention to detail was there. I left there noticing my nails have lots of dents in them and the dip powder is extremely thick. I do believe some steps of the process of both mani and pedi were skipped for some reason- usually they clip the skin around the nails or file them perfectly straight... again- attention to detail was lacking. For the amount of time I spent there, I expected some great work. They have a points program but you have to earn over 400 points to get it, and each point is a dollar. Seems far fetched. Not sure if I'll return.

The mani was just as a nice experience. He took his time and at the end you always get a two minute shoulder message. There are plenty of chairs and techs available. The polish section is not to bad. On your birthday they give you a discount gift certificate for your next visit. They have tv's up and do prefer you do not talk on your cell phone as to enjoy and not interrupt other customers experience. They also have message chairs and tables. The second time the same thing happened her nail polish came off within not even a day of us leaving there. I'm not sure if some of the nail polish is old. I know that nail polish has expiration dates and only lasts up to two years the most depending on the brand and my daughter's hands weren't in water or anything like that so I'm not sure why it came off so quickly. I didn't get the names of the workers, but there was one lady that went above and beyond for her Manicure and put she put little flower decorations on her nails it was cute and my daughter loved the experience but for my money standpoint, I think it's overpriced and I wasn't happy with the outcome. Mike has basically become my friend over the years, and he always takes his time to make sure my nails come out perfect. The quality of their products is excellent, and my nails always last a month without breaking. Mike, his brother, and the whole team are super talented, friendly, and always make you feel welcome. The salon is clean, relaxing, and I just love it here. I don't go anywhere else, H&L Nails is the best!
