The space is private and very relaxing with heated beds and chic decor. They always go out of there way to fit my schedule and are flexible with hours, which is important to me since I work full time and I am unavailable on weekends. Jamie, who is also the owner, always makes me feel very welcomed and comfortable during my appointments. For me getting my eyelashes filled used to feel like a chore, so I love that they offer 3 week fills (most places are 2 weeks). I have had wonderful luck with my retention and they also offer different products to help with your lash care.

I was a first time client of Seductive Lashes and I had been in touch with the business owner, as well as the lash stylist prior to my first appointment, but unfortunately, at no point did either of them alert me to the fact that their business was located in a hidden corner of a former industrial building/complex called the Hope Artiste Village (which was actually more like a small city). If I were given just a little guidance as to where I was to go, or perhaps what door to enter (and I am not exaggerating when I say this building/complex is huge), I'm certain I would not have arrived to my first appointment a sweaty, panting, exhausted mess!!! I will take some responsibility for not doing my research beforehand, but I'm thinking that I can't possibly be the only client who didn't realize that this business was located on the second floor, up a difficult to find staircase, behind a locked door, around several corners and down a not-so-well lit hallway. Once you do find Seductive Lashes, two hours later, and after an extremely vigorous completely unexpected workout, you are greeted by an unsmiling and not-so-friendly owner (but I guess I probably did startle her with my perspiring and exhausted appearance after running around a huge building in search of her business), because who else would pop up at the doorway of their business except someone who has spent the past two hours looking for it? If I still have your attention, it is important to note that after all of the effort made in locating Seductive Lashes, the stylist never showed up for our appointment. I'm not going to mention her name, mostly because I feel like something happened that prevented her from showing up. I don't think this was a case of her just being completely irresponsible, or at least I hope not. I will not be returning to Seductive Lashes, but I hope this somehow helps any new clients find their way. P.S. Enter through the doorway directly across from "The Met." The correct staircase is to the right, and go through the grey door at the top of the stairs. The door does appear to be locked, but with a good amount of pull and tug, it will open. Once on the second floor, I honestly can't remember how many twists and turns were involved, but at this point, you are at least in the right area. Just scream out if all else fails and hopefully the owner will come and save you.

I know the girl rents a room…read morefrom the salon so I am not writing a review based on the salon itself but rather a person the salon rents to. On May 10th, I had a 2:30 appt with Lauren ( @beauty_with_elle_co ). At 2:40, I texted her asking if she was on her way. She walked in within 5 mins of my sending that text. I was on her table and ready to lash by let's say 2:50 on the fair side. By 3:16 I paid for my FULL SET of classic lashes, which should take at least 1.5-2 hrs. This was my very first time having eyelash extensions and I wasn't sure what to expect but I thought that was incredibly fast. She also, was rough and brushing harshly through my lashes. When I sat up.. I literally could not tell the difference. I told her that I would still have to wear mascara and she said, "oh fine for this time go ahead and we'll schedule you another appointment when you get home." Mind you, I was leaving for Aruba the very next morning. Then she attempted to sell me lash cleaner on top of it. By 4:15 I was at the salon down the street getting them redone. While there, she had to carefully peel lashes and glue that was stuck to my eyelid off! It took her almost 3 hours to fix what Lauren did and said that I may still have some tugging and pulling of my lashes as they grow out because she was so messy. Today when I got a fill, I had massive build up and yellow crustys from the residual glue that Lauren had left. That night (May 10th) after all of this, I texted Lauren asking her to kindly refund my purchase since she and I both know that she did not do a clean or adequate job, and I have gotten no response. I have no other options but to inform people of my personal experience so they can avoid this awful, PAINFUL, and EXPENSIVE experience. I had to ask for the tape to be readjusted and in that process she scratched my eye. I went to urgent care today and they said that my eye is scratched and gave me antibiotic drops. They also said that I now can not wear contacts for my wedding. I would not have gone if I knew there was even this possibility. and I was refused a refund even though I now am paying for an urgent care visit and can not wear contacts for my wedding. writing this review so this does not happen to anyone else.

I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to because of my experience here. I hate being…read morenegative, and I do believe Rekha knows what she's doing. The eyebrow tint and threading I received were ok (not the best), but I was very disappointed by the customer service here. I arrived on time for my appointment, and there was a client midway through a service. I had to wait 15 minutes, which isn't a huge deal, but there wasn't any acknowledgement of my appointment time or even a "welcome in". When I was told to sit down, Rekha proceeded to take a lot of photos of my face, and though there is a sign on the wall stating that these pictures are for educational purposes, I felt much more like a marketing tool than a valued client. I immediately noticed her using the same, unwashed brush on my face that she had used on her previous client. She talked herself up a lot and made some insensitive comments about how next time I could be "brave" and have my upper lip done. She also interrupted my service about halfway through to take care of a quick walk-in, which, again, wouldn't be a huge deal if she had been more polite about it. The end of the service felt rushed to me, which was probably because there was a long line of people waiting. Rekha had apparently booked two clients for the same appointment slot and also told a few others who had called that she had time for walk-ins. I know that mistakes happen, but she really didn't seem to care much, and it was very chaotic. I had also scheduled an eyelash tinting with her, which she forgot about and said she didn't have time for. At that point, though, I was happy to get out of there. TL;DR: Ok, not great threading and eyebrow tint, terrible customer service and subpar cleanliness.

It's been a week and my toe still has not healed. I was not given any sort of discount for that so when I asked for one, the owner/manager seemed mad about it and gave me a lousy $10 off. I shouldn't have had to pay at all and I certainly shouldn't have had to ask for one. Poor customer service and rough technicians
