my regular threading lady is on vacation so i came to devi about ten days ago and unfortunately i…read moream disappointed with my experience. devi was nice but did not treat my skin gently. i came in for full face and neck. she was very aggressive with her threading and made the area under my eyes bleed and my neck bleed. she said "the faster i go the more i numb your skin so you don't feel the pain." the threading aggression destroyed my skin barrier and i am still healing it ten days later. she made unsolicited and uniformed comments about my skin like "i can tell you used to wax because of your pores" amid silence and no conversation. i told her i have not gotten waxed in over six years and she said always get threading because there are no side effects and then she gave me side effects. i had gone to my derm the day before for my checkup who said my glowing skin is progressing extremely well and then it was regressed back from this visit. it was $44 in pawtucket which is more than places in providence. and she did not mention she doesn't have a credit card machine until it was time to pay. there was no else in the salon but me and my friend watching. i unfortunately will not return. i also am shocked by the amount of 5 star reviews on google and how different my experience is based on what i have read.

I was hesitant as I had never gotten extensions before and everyone told me they wouldn't help but Kelley reassured me she could fix the bangs. She also adjusted the price since I was mostly getting extensions in the front instead of my whole head, making it more manageable. Kelley placed the extensions right under the bangs which helped them blend and made them nearly invisible when brushed and styled. The extra hair allowed me to finally put the bangs behind my ears since they were about eye length. These extensions lasted me from September to December and I even dyed and cut them twice (at a hairdresser this time, don't worry). If you are on the fence about extentions or want your bangs gone like me I highly recommend Kelley. She is an extremely wise person that you can trust with your hair and money!
