She even took the extra time to give me tips on styling it at home. Wonderful experience, great prices. In addition to great quality, Tara is always timely and friendly. No reason to go anywhere else! Side note - Tara was on vacation and I needed a last minute blowout for a special event and Christine was able to take me as a walk in ! I addressed it, and expressed how frustrating it was, given it kept happening. Rather than an apology I received a reason of "I squeezed you in ." I had never asked to be squeezed in. My other family members have also had similar disappointments and have moved on to other salons despite wanting to support our longtime stylist.

Although I didn't get a pedicure I definitely would come back for one. The chairs were huge and comfy looking and the pedicure bowls were sparkly gold. Price was definitely fair and comparable to other salons but this place stands out to me. She did a nice job on my hair but it's honestly not worth her expensive prices. $200 for cut and balayage I was better off going to a reputable salon in Providence. When she was done styling me, I stood up and the entire back of my shirt was bleached. She took zero responsibility and put the blame on me, extremely unprofessional. Didn't bother to offer me a discount even after I bought $100 worth of products to invest in my hair. To top it all off, immediately after I left she posted on her Instagram story about a sale the next day and all products would be 50% off. Thanks for the details considering we talked about how I work in the building and definitely would of popped in to save on some product and even grabbed extras. Definitely missed out on regular clientele in the building including myself because I will not be back.

I was timid in trusting someone new with my hair, especially since I'd been going to my old hair dresser since I was ten. A lady at work recommended this place, so I thought I should give it a try. Lisa M. cut my hair, and she was so kind and warm. The place does not look like the modern, hip hair places you find in Providence now with younger folks, but that's why I loved this place! It has people of all ages and all walks of life. BLHH is not trying to be anything other than just a feel-good hair salon. I'm also 24 years old and still felt right at home, for those who are younger and thinking it's primarily for the older groups. Also best part- I have very thick long wavy hair, and my entire wash, cut, and dry was $35 without tip - you can't beat that. I am so happy with this place, and my new short hair!
