We went in for a 30 min consultation and decided it was worth a shot, especially as we had 2ish months to practice and prepare our first dance with our selected song. We ended up getting a 5-lesson package where we got most of the 2ish minute dance done by the third lesson and then got the remaining time to refine and improve ahead of our wedding. Throughout our lessons, Artjom had some really great insights and helped us along the way as he developed the fun choreography and made sure we knew how we can look fluid and prepared ahead of our big day. Also amazing is the placement of dancers who pay for private lessons always seem to be much more prominently showcased. One particular teacher is quite bipolar, yelling one week and 'i brought donuts' the next, our kids are downright frighted by A. While most of the instructors here are very professional, supportive, and put the best dancers in the front, sometimes you can really tell who the 'golden child' is (sometimes as obvious as the offspring of a faculty) by how they will always be featured and front and center. New for 2025 is their SPOTLIGHT Award, which will be handed out by staff to the most Above and Beyond, and who do you think those will go to? Betting right now the same set of insiders that already get the best spots. There are also many extra fees and costs that are just added to your account without asking: including a year end 'pizza party celebration' that didn't include any actual pizza, 'team bonding' events like going to a movie, or 60second Holiday performance AND a season end show that require more makeup, shoes & costume purchases. I guess kids had a great time but no thought by staff on costs parents have to pay for these add-on. Updated to add: make sure your kid keeps an eye on their things... I've heard recently that several things have gone missing, wallets & phones gone through, cash & clothing stolen. Given the size of the number of studios I suppose there's no way to do a locker system but the casualness of the staff response to the thefts was a little troubling. I had to hear about it from the dancers as nothing was ever mentioned to the parents. Youd be better off at a smaller, more caring studio, IMO.

We are so happy that we booked dance lessons with Jennifer to help us choreograph our first dance…read morefor our wedding. We were very nervous at the beginning since neither my partner or I are dancers, but she made us feel so comfortable right off the bat! She was incredibly patient, and tailored the dance to our skill level, but also challenged us and brought us out of our comfort zone. In an unexpected turn of events, my partner broke his foot 4 weeks before the wedding. Although his foot was projected to be somewhat healed right before the wedding, we initially told Jennifer that we would cancel the remaining lessons because we didn't think we'd be able to learn the dance in time. However, she encouraged us to reschedule the remaining three lessons to 1.5 weeks before the wedding and modified the dance in a way that suited my partner's injury. Somehow, she managed to work her magic and we were able to perform the entire routine at our wedding with no problem. Even after the wedding, I still find myself rewatching videos of our first dance because of how good it looked (and the pictures also turned out incredible!) Taking lessons with Jennifer was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning process, and we were so happy with the outcome. Thank you Jennifer!!

As we practiced more, Jenn incorporated more elements if she felt that we could handle it and I'm really glad she was so encouraging and helpful because we would have just ended up swaying on the dancefloor to the beat, which would have been fine but not as impressive. The space itself fit a lot of people and there was ample space to move around. The guy at the front desk was super nice helping us check in and gave us masks to wear since we forgot to bring ours. By no means am I a skilled dancer, but not once did I ever feel bad for coming in at my skill level. The instructor and the other folks taking the class created an environment where you could have fun and learn something as long as you show up and do your best, regardless of skill level. And even though I'm uncoordinated and had struggled a bit for my mind/body to process the same thing (lol), everyone was super encouraging and I never got the vibe that people thought they were better - it was like we were all there to have fun and groove to some good music. As a beginner, I loved the pace that we went at loved the buildup of learning new moves and adding onto what we already learned. My friend and I are already talking about going back to try one of their weekday classes but all the choreo on OOS's IG page look so fun! It was definitely mentally and physically stimulating and it was cool to go out of our comfort zones to try something we don't usually do but thoroughly enjoyed anyways. Can't wait to go back!

The classes are not stressful or competitive in any way, our daughters enjoy learning from the teachers and bonding with their friends in class too.
