I go back to get them fixed, well, instead of feeling ashamed because their work only lasted 1week, they were upset! They asked/screamed what did you do? I said... normal activities like wash dishes...... I asked to get all repainted and had yo pay $26, which I understand.. but they didn't like that. Why? They were talking amongst themselves, probably about me. I was asked to wash my hands, I decided to take the towel I used to where I was sitting, just to be screamed at , to put it in the bin. That itself was a horrible unpleasant moment. Two days later two nails are chipped again. Never again, will I visit this establishment! To get screamed at, mistreated and with such bad nail quality. I highly DONT recommend this place!

The owner was walking around chatting it up with everyone. My base application for my nail was good, the color I picked out looks like what I got. I wish I'd picked a little darker. I asked for almond shape like the picture and I did end up having to fix it a little bit afterwards. The pic I have here is right after I left the salon. The nail tech was struggling with the design though. I think it had more to do with the consistency of the gel polish than her skills because the heart came out great. She tried multiple gold glitter polishes and communicated to me about what was wrong and what I wanted. Looking back, I probably should've just done white like the heart. The end result was the line is too thick and some of the edges are smeared. In the pic you can kind of tell on the thumb there. I think that's just the unfortunate result of too much product under a uv lamp. It'll just move and melt in places you don't want it to be. It's been two weeks now and my nails are all still intact. Might try a few other places before I commit to this spot~

The first time I came here (Sept 7th) I asked for ombré green nails. I picked out a color. They…read moretold us to take a pic of the color and number so I showed her that too. I told them the shape and showed the reference photo. She had told me the dip powder would be best to create the desired design so I agreed. I like dip powder :) Her application was good overall and it came out pretty spot on other than the fact that she didn't use the color I picked out and just did the reference. I had read previous reviews before coming here so I was scared to correct her. Came out nice, a little lumpy, but it lasted a whole month with no breakage. This was all on my natural nail too! My second visit was a month later (Oct 6th) with a different girl. My nails from the first visit had grown out, but all intact. I asked for an ombré again with the same green I asked for previously, but with white tips and asked for the same natural shape I had previously. The green ended up being really white and light. You can't see green at all. The nail tech mentioned it after applying the first nail, but I kind of had hope it would darken. It didn't. That one was on me, but also it looks nothing like what I picked out? This set came out way lumpier than my first visit. You can tell in the photo if you look closely, but I could feel it. Also it came out pretty square and that combined with the lumps made it 10x worse for my hand shape. This set also broke my nails down bad. Didn't last as long as my first visit. Anyway, this place isn't absolutely terrible, but I always came out feeling meh because it was never what I really asked for. Second visit was definitely worse though. Under my nails always felt crusty as well as along the sides. I don't know how my service would've changed had I corrected anything, but based on previous reviews, I wasn't willing to risk it. I don't come here anymore. Still on the hunt for a good spot.

Absolutely amazing! I love Becky and have finally found my new hair stylist here in Iowa. One of…read morethe hardest parts about moving from Southern California isn't the blistering cold winter, but finding a great stylist. I have to start with the fact that I have springy ringlets, but kind of fine hair. Its very unique and hard to find people who know how to fix it. Needless to say I have some serious trust issues with my hair. Normally when I leave a salon I want to cry. If my hair is not dry cut it almost always comes out uneven and the next day is a disaster. I went to Becky to get a color knowing I also wanted to a cut and straightening treatment. She went over the options with me and we decided to do the coldwave treatment first. I was going to do the heat wave treatment, but she said we should try the cold wave and see how it goes. It worked beautifully. My hair is so soft, it still has some waves and curl to it but cut my style time drastically. Becky also did a quick trim on my hair as well. It not only looks great, but it feels amazing. Becky is friendly and so sweet. I will definitely be going back to her. Already booked my next appointment. She really works hard to have you feeling spectacular when you are leaving the salon.

A few things that stick out the most: - The space is always clean and beautiful, - Products they sell and use smell AMAZING, - I let the stylists know I am on a tight budget and always have they provided me with options within the price range (I make sure I leave room in the budget for a nice tip), - The stylists always let you know what they are going to do before they do anything, - Always feel a confident boost when I walk out knowing my hair looks great and how I want it. Lastly, this location is open really late Mon-Thu which means less struggling on my end to find an appointment that fits my daytime schedule AND I can schedule when traffic isn't chaos in Altoona. 10/10 recommend!
