This is a five-star 711 in my opinion…read more The Slurpee machine, every flavor was working. 711 has a Belly Rewards program and the device used to track your points... it was working! It was about 11:15 a.m. on Saturday that I entered the store so it wasn't that packed, but the employees , the cashier, everyone was at their post. No one was MIA whereas we couldn't find anyone to check out. The employees were pleasant as well. The store was clean the parking lot was clean as well. The store also has some glow-in-the-dark straws for the Slurpees I guess this is a Halloween product that they have that was only $0.99, love them! The store also had NFL straws for the Slurpees and I guess you could use them for the Big Gulps or any other drink and they sold for $1.99. But most of the teams were already brought, but luckily I did find one that my babe liked so I was able to get that for him. It's the small and quirky things that 7-Eleven sells that make visits worthwhile.

The cashier looked at me and said "it's a large" so I informed her these are the only cups available asked if there was any others, cashier rolled her eyes and replied "it's a large, I don't know what to tell ya" So I walked out, avoid if you want rude cashiers early in the morning.

This diner is a diamond in the rough. It is a lot bigger than it seems. The bathroom was spotless…read moreand smelled clean. We were greeted as soon as we sat down in a booth, you pick where you want to sit. Typical diner vibes, I love this; old photos, classic seating and counter bar with the old stools. I had the triple decker club with fries and a side of gravy. My boyfriend had the all meat omelet with home fries and toast. I didn't get a beginning picture because it looked so good we instantly started eating. The club was perfect and very filling. I had left overs. Something about the turkey and ham that elevated it, didn't taste like the common lunch meat club. The fries are battered and absolutely delicious. The gravy had a thick consistency of that of homemade. If it wasn't homemade, it was some of the best packaged gravy ever. My boyfriend said the omelet was great. Lot of meat and very tasty. The home fries were crisp. Everything came out hot. The prices are great. We were checked on several ties by various staff( not too much to be annoying). Everyone was Sooooo nice. They make you feel like they really want to make sure that you enjoy your meal. The outside isn't much to look at and it is at a truck stop but don't let that deter you from stopping in. There is a store with various essentials and also several games. Frank's is one of the best diners with homemade food that we have been to. I really don't have any complaints. We will definitely go back when in that area. Shoutout to Spencer, our server, he was amazing.

I'm not usually a fan of the "mom-and-pop, old school" truck stop vibe -- most of them feel like a…read moremuseum exhibit for how not to run a business. But this place actually earns a solid 4. Yes, they charge for parking, but let's be real: everyone does now. The showers? Not the Ritz, but at least you can tell they tried instead of just spraying some Febreze and calling it good. The food was surprisingly solid, which already puts it a step ahead of the roller dog lottery at most stops. What really pushes it over the edge, though, is the customer service. Friendly, helpful, and they actually make you feel like more than just another DOT number rolling through. For me, that's worth an extra star all day. If you're passing through, it's not paradise, but it sure isn't punishment either.
