I am still a beginner and I have found that many ballet schools do not take adult ballet very seriously, but Miss Nadine does. Combinations are designed to develop and solidify good technique. Her corrections were frequent, helpful, and relevant to each dancer's level. The studio was bright and airy, the music was beautiful, and I'm certain there were more than a few current or former pros in the class. My classmates were welcoming and by far the friendliest I've experienced while traveling. What a wonderful experience -- I'm only sorry that I didn't find this studio sooner for my biannual visits to Lancaster.

I'd been to classes at another venue before, and while I enjoyed those classes, I do appreciate the different levels they have at Salsa in the Suburbs. They structure the classes well so that you can put together a routine by the time you finish up a course. The instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We went to one of the later classes in the series, so we needed some clarification on a part of the routine that we had missed in prior classes. One of the instructors, Craig, was great about showing us what we had missed and helping us both get it right. He didn't just show us what we had asked about; he asked us to do the entire routine to make sure we understood it all, which was great. I'm looking forward to attending the rest of the classes in this series as well as the higher-level classes.
