Yes, you can go to one of those other $10/month gyms, but you WON'T be getting the excellence in coaching or the stimulating workouts that produce measurable improvements in strength and endurance so quickly as Port CrossFit does. Those cheaper gyms WILL give you plenty of opportunity to watch folks scrolling on their phones as they sit on isolation machines between sets, making you wait for your turn and your workout takes that much longer. At PortCrossFit, everyone in class does the same workout, with slight differences scaled for people with different fitness levels/abilities, and so everyone gets strength training and cardio in one shot, within an hour. Efficient! People cheer each other on and the coaches offer helpful tips to improve technique, and workouts are never repeated. This gymnastics style spot has walls to climb, ropes for swinging etc. They even broke out a bouncy house for the kids to jump in. The party was staffed with one girl to accommodate about 10 kids. She was great, on point and very interactive. After open play, they were shuffled into a separate room for pizza and cake. Overall, the location appeared clean and safe, and all the kids had a fun time. I'd consider booking for a party here!

Never would have imagined my daughter taking irish dance and loving it, but that's exactly what…read morehappened! Take a chance on something different and see how your child will blossom! We have been part of many local dance studios. What sets this studio apart is the owner, the award winning teachers and the individualized attention. You just don't have that at regular dance studios. Classes are very active and engaging. Your child isn't waiting for their turn in a class of 20 kids. It's excellent exercise! They are properly trained in stretching and core strengthening before they dance. Irish dance is intense in a fun way! Lots of skipping, hopping, jumping moves that kids love! There's NO PRESSURE. This school has won National titles with their competitive team. Joining the competition team is optional. Encouraged, and no pressure. There is also a performance team, which does not compete but rather dances at local events, nursing homes, schools and charitable events. The best part are the RECITALS. You will never experience recitals like this. Winter showcase in a theater setting, Spring showcase includes brunch at a catering facility. It's not an obnoxious 3-4 hour show like all the other studios put on. 2 hours or less. Your child dances for a whole song, not a 3 minute clip. You get your money's worth, and leave loving irish dance. Take a chance on this studio! Your child can take a class for free to try. TRY!!! Girls and boys 5 years and up. Studios in Shoreham (where we go) and Cutchogue.
