After my 8 year old was diagnosed with ADHD earlier this year, my son's teacher suggested Martial Arts to help him with the extra energy and trouble focusing. We started Tae Kwon Do at Expert Martial Arts in May. My son is so happy there. Tae Kwon Do has done wonders for his ability to focus, and it has really boosted his confidence. EXMA encourages positive behavior outside of class as well. Each week has a different assignment (like extra chores, reading, eating vegetables, making the bed, etc.) that the kids can complete to earn a stripe on their belt. Master Park is fantastic, he takes a genuine interest in all of his students. A few weeks back one of the students competed in a gymnastics match and Master Park spent a few minutes watching videos and looking at pictures with the student's mom and then had the other students in class congratulate the gymnast. It was really nice to see how proud he was of his student for achievements outside of Tae Kwon Do. The instructors that work with Master Park are all great. They are fun, very helpful, and keep a close eye on the kids during class to offer extra help if need be. We love Expert Martial Arts and are very happy to be a part of the EXMA family! read more

Master Park and all the instructors are fantastic at leading the group of kids with all different skill levels while also paying attention to individual needs. EMA has a great aftercare program and summer camp. I love how the instructors teach the kids to respect themselves and others and also have confidence. This is the best place to teach the art of Taekwondo. Master Park, Mr Alvarez are the best teachers who take time with the students and walks them thru each step.
