They do an excellent job with the clothes, and always pick up and drop off in a timely manner. We have recently started using their dry cleaning service as well, and have been very happy with the care they've shown our garments. Highly recommend!

NEW OWNER, WATCH OUT!…read more I called and got Elio. Seemed nice, and the reviews here were good (Now I see most are old), so I had him pick up. He said "the driver, Mike" will call to arrange pick up. He called a few minutes later, I told him to knock/ring and I'll get him the bags. I brought two of the three bags out and popped back inside to grab a third. When I came back, the bags were gone. No knock/ring or "hey, can I take these?" Nothing, just gone. Then 2 minutes later I get a text from some other named laundry company, telling me I have to Venmo or Zelle him $48. WHAT???? He hadn't even had time to weigh the bags. I had spoken on the phone to TWO men. They said nothing of any of this. They were changing the terms of the agreement. I called Elio on the store phone line, or so I thought. He then told me he sold the company to Mike the driver, and deal with him. He said that he is just doing the laundry work for Mike, but it's Mike's company now. Then he told me he isn't in the store, or even in the state. I tell him I don't like deal being changed, and I don't have their payment methods, and to just bring the bags back. He told me I will have to PAY THEIR MINIMUM, $25 to get my clothing back!!!!! When I objected, he started mouthing off to me. I hung up and called the local Police, who sent a car over. They took care of it. The infractions were clear: - They took the bags without notice (not even all the bags I had) - They changed the agreement after the fact. - They tried to create an illegal bailment with my property. You can't make this stuff up!

I brought several items to Go Green Cleaners on July 5th. I would have brought them sooner, but…read morethey were closed July 2, 3, and 4th for the holiday. I had one cocktail dress with a few stains I needed dry cleaned for that Saturday (July 9th) and the rest of my items could be finished whenever since I would be away all that week. I told the girl all this, and she put in for delivery of the cocktail dress on Saturday and pick up of the other items whenever. Saturday came, and I did not receive my cocktail dress. Since I was working and the shop was closed by the time I got home, I went ahead a packed for my vacation without the dress. I returned from my vacation and put on my cell phone. My voicemail was immediately bombarded with five messages from Bill at Go Green Dry Cleaners demanding the $27 balance. Each message was ruder than the next. I returned home, and went to get my mail from my landlord. She handed over all the dry cleaning I asked NOT to be delivered, including the cocktail dress I paid separately for that was suppose to delivered that Saturday before my trip. I looked at the cocktail dress and NONE of the stains were removed, actually, it looked dirtier than before. Now I was angry, not only did I not receive my dress for my vacation and it wasn't cleaned properly, but my landlord was involved and I had a chain of harassing voicemails from a business that provided a poor service. I went to Go Green the next day and returned the dress. The owners weren't there, so the girl put the dress in to be cleaned again. I returned the following day, and spoke with Kevin (the other owner). I explained the situation and my general dissatisfaction with the poor service and harassing voicemails from his partner. He simply gave poor excuses ("I was away, too," "Bill is forgetful","Bill can sometimes be rude,"), and insisted that the cocktail dress I returned the previous day was cleaned multiple times and the stains could not be removed (by the way, there was no evidence of this, my dress looked exactly how I left it with a post-it attached that I was "angry"). He insisted I pay the remaining balance despite the harassment and poor service and accompanied the transaction with even more excuses about his partner being forgetful and pushing the blame for bad business off of himself.

Summary: WInzer Cleaners saved my wedding suit even after I stained it with grease, let someone else dry clean it, and then let it sit in a closet for 6 months. Great, friendly customer service too. Details: Winzer Cleaners saved the suit I wore when I got married. Not being cautious, I stained the lapel before I even got to the ceremony. Pretty sure it was a grease stain. Afterwards, I reluctantly took the suit to a different very well-regarded dry cleaner in midtown Manhattan. ("Reluctantly" because of a service issue I had with them in the past, but they are often described as the best in the city and I thought they were the ones who could get the stain out.) This other cleaner did not get the stain out. Dejected, I let the suit hang in a closet for nearly 6 months. Then, feeling optimistic one day, I searched for a higher-end dry cleaner in the city. I found Winzer. I found that they clean items for Broadway, so I figured they would be good on a 6-month-old stain on a nice suit. The one other review on Yelp confirmed this possibility. I called and a friendly woman answered the phone. I explained the situation, slightly obscuring some details (out of embarrassment! I felt like I was lying to my doctor). She said she could pick up *at my office* the next day. (The previous cleaner does not pick up from or deliver to offices.) She said the driver would arrive between 9 AM and 9:30. The next morning was one of the first major snowstorms of the season. Traffic downtown and road conditions were a mess. YET -- unbelievably -- the driver arrived at my office at 9.03 AM. I was stunned. Very friendly guy. He took my jacket, gave me some paperwork and a free 2014 calendar, and off he went. A day later, the nice lady called me back: "If we're going to clean your jacket, we should clean your pants so the colors don't get accidentally mismatched." I had no idea. (I was thinking they'd spot clean.) The next day, the driver picked up my pants. Four days later, the suit was back in my hands and THE STAIN WAS GONE. Winzer Cleaners took a grease stain out of a fine fabric after it had already been dry cleaned by someone else and sat in a closet for 6 months. I am impressed by their good customer service and their skill. Based on the fact there are only two reviews on Yelp, I infer they are not getting enough consumer business from Manhattan. I recommend them strongly.

I read the reviews online and decided I would wash the Family Clothes here. I called the Laundry before heading there, I wanted to know what time the last wash was. The Owner stated "8:30pm". I was at the location close to 6pm. There were no other Customers, only the Attendant and her 2 kids. As we walked in we were not greeted by the Attendant, only stared at. The Attendant did not say if you need any assistance, I am here to help. We were only greeted with a glaring stare. My Daughter is like why is she staring at us like that. The washing machines and dryers are new and the place is spotless. This is a Coin Laundromat, No Laundry Cards. My Son who is Autistic is seated, while my Daughter and I Load the Clothes into the machine. The washing machines are new to me, there are knobs instead of just pushing the Start Button and the all the machines are on the cold water setting. I ask the Laundry Attendant, how do you set the Machines on the Hot Setting. With reluctance she comes over and shows my Daughter and I. Before you start the washing machines you have to put in the Laundry Detergent First. I used three $3.75 Machines one would not start, I asked the Attendant for assistance she came over and could not get the machine to start. The Attendant instead of telling me to take another washing machine tells me to wait. She calls her Employer and tells him about the situation. Once she receives permission from her Employer, I transfer my clothes to another machine. I state to the Attendant "what about the Laundry Detergent and fabric softener that I used in your machine to wash my clothes"? I have more than a load of Laundry. The Attendant makes another Phone Call to her Employer with his permission I am given 3 small Tide Pods. I said to the Attendant you do not expect my clothes to be washed properly with those pods, I will also need Laundry Detergent and fabric softener. The Attendant gets flustered but comes back with a small bottom of Laundry Detergent. She puts it on the washing machine, I open the bottle to pour the detergent, she again gets flustered. She gets on the Phone and says "Loco" to her Employer. The Laundry has Cameras and the whole time the Owner of the Laundry is watching. The Owner comes in proceeds to walk past me and talks to the Attendant in Spanish, relieving her while telling her it will be ok, do not look so sad. The Owner disregards me again, walks to the washing machine that would not start, then proceeds to fix the mechanism to get the washing machine to start. He begins getting boisterous and pretentious "stating this is ridiculous, this is ridiculous you could have broken my $2,000/$3,000 washing machine look how much Laundry Detergent you used, Unbelievable"! The man is a joke. You are starting the washing cycle with no clothes, listen to yourself. My Daughter and I look at each other and say in unison "ridiculous" I state " you have no integrity the attendant glared the whole time and saw what happened with the machine all she had to do was state to me is, "use another machine"! I said to him "your Attendant should be helpful not hesitant"! "Listen, I will never step foot in this place again, this is Lynbrook it does not surprise me". The Owner " I am Puerto Rican do not play that Card with me, I have plenty of Black Customers that are happy". "This Black Customer is not happy". The Owner is a White Hispanic and I let him know you are White, he does not know the difference between race and ethnicity. I proceed to tell him, "I will let the public know", he backs down. He walks past me, goes to the Front Counter and proceeds to watch me and my kids. By this time the Laundry is in the Dryers and one of the Dryers is out of order, his $2000/$3000 Machines. He mutters "Monkey" I remain calm, I just want to leave. Once the Dryers stop, I pack up the Clothes with the help of my kids do just that. I did not utter another word, just left. I WONDER ALL THE TIME IS THIS 2022, IT IS EXHAUSTING BEING STARED AT, DISREGARDED AND BEING TREATED DIFFERENTLY DUE TO THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN! I FORGET TO MENTION THIS LAUNDROMAT ALSO HAVE A DROP OFF SERVICE, I WATCHED THE ATTENDANT GREET THE WHITE CUSTOMERS WHO DROPPED OFF THEIR LAUNDRY WITH A FRIENDLY GREETING AND WARM SMILE, UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!

Secondly, there wasn't a wrapper in the machine and it is not my daughters responsibility to inspect the little holes, the few thousand there are in the machine for chocolate residue. The lady called Ivy, the owner, the one that wears high heeled wedding shoes and dresses to work in a laundry mat. Ivy was not customer service friendly.
