Got the recommendation to this place from my regular dry cleaning spot, after she turned me down…read morewhen I asked her if she'd launder some towels ruined by the storm surge from Hurricane Sandy. They have 3 ways to get your clothes clean. You can either come in and use the coin-op machines yourself, pay a little more and drop your clothes off and pick them up on a pre-determined day, or (if you live within a certain radius) they will come to pick up your laundry in their van, wash it, and drop it off for you. I dropped by with 5 garbage bags full of seawater-marinated towels, rugs, and other assorted items. After getting looked at funny, and told it would be a week's turnaround given the surge in customers from Sandy, I told them to take their time and I'd be back whenever they asked me to be. 7 days later, $30 out of my pocket, and everything was cleaned and good as new, wrapped up tightly and neatly in large (and sturdy!) plastic bags. These guys are good, and I look forward to using them for large items until my own replacement appliances come in.

Problem: they have a minimum charge of $30 plus $2.50 for a fuel charge. So if you give them any…read moreamount of laundry, let's say 8 lbs., at 1.70 per pound, that would total $13.50. But they will charge you $32. Now I am referring to the pick up and delivery service. They have a laundry bag that you must purchase, it is not free like other laundry services. That bag can hold between 20 and 25 pounds. So if you give them 20 pounds at $1.70 it would be $34. So if you decide to use them, be smart and fill the bag to its capacity. I am using another service that charges you only buy the pounds of laundry, you submit. I had a laundry once that had a $10 minimum charge which was realistic if you submit it under 10 pounds to them. But this charge of $30 minimum by this company it's not cost-effective for a single person. Remember, if you use them fill that bag to the top.

Dryers are FREE here and I appreciate that they have committed to this as a part of the service. A laundry attendant will start the dryer for you once you are ready to dry. Since moving to the area from a private home equipped with a washer and dryer, I had to do careful research on where to launder my clothes. I'm extremely picky about how laundry is done. I do not trust dry cleaning services. I've tried it once in life and the results were a joke. They offer laundry delivery service here with their cute vans. This place is modern and clean. A tip that's helpful: For the best wash, do not over stuff the machines. Your clothes will appear as though they've never been washed. Be smart. Don't be cheap. Splurge the extra $1.50 for the appropriate sized machine. The attendants are very kind here and knowledgeable. I've been coming for 2 years now.

However, I used their services several weeks ago and I am missing 6 pairs of my pj's. 2 pairs are beautiful satin pj's which were very expensive and the other 4 pj's although not satin are of excellent quality and were pricey as well. I have called several times and every time I called, I've reached someone who doesn't speak ANY ENGLISH and is beyond unable to communicate with English speaking costumers. Also, I was unable to use the app and unable to use their website (no fault of my own. They are having problems with both) so as a result I had to verbally give out my credit card information! Never will I do this again because ever since this situation, I've been dealing with fraudulent charges and my card had to be blocked by my banking institution!!!!!! In the future I will stop being lazy and just use my own washer and dryer! Avoid this place at all cost!!!!

All the machines were new and clean. Store counters and carts were also clean. Also they have complimentary coffee in the back. What a nice touch. My only complaint would be that they need a water mat for when it's raining outside. My wife slipped right after taking two steps into the store since it had been pouring outside and the front entranceway was wet. She could've hurt herself but the only thing she got was a bruise and some embarrassment falling in front of others.

And it's been a while since I went to a laundromat. Used to be, you could use single bills or coins. They've got an ATM in there. But now, you need a card that can only be filled in $2 increments, with random amounts for a wash and dry, so it's impossible to use the actual value on the card. The card swipes are hit or miss. NEW OWNER, WATCH OUT!…read more I called and got Elio. Seemed nice, and the reviews here were good (Now I see most are old), so I had him pick up. He said "the driver, Mike" will call to arrange pick up. He called a few minutes later, I told him to knock/ring and I'll get him the bags. I brought two of the three bags out and popped back inside to grab a third. When I came back, the bags were gone. No knock/ring or "hey, can I take these?" Nothing, just gone. Then 2 minutes later I get a text from some other named laundry company, telling me I have to Venmo or Zelle him $48. WHAT???? He hadn't even had time to weigh the bags. I had spoken on the phone to TWO men. They said nothing of any of this. They were changing the terms of the agreement. I called Elio on the store phone line, or so I thought. He then told me he sold the company to Mike the driver, and deal with him. He said that he is just doing the laundry work for Mike, but it's Mike's company now. Then he told me he isn't in the store, or even in the state. I tell him I don't like deal being changed, and I don't have their payment methods, and to just bring the bags back. He told me I will have to PAY THEIR MINIMUM, $25 to get my clothing back!!!!! When I objected, he started mouthing off to me. I hung up and called the local Police, who sent a car over. They took care of it. The infractions were clear: - They took the bags without notice (not even all the bags I had) - They changed the agreement after the fact. - They tried to create an illegal bailment with my property. You can't make this stuff up!
